when i heard about Howard leaving killswitch, i was genuinely heartbroken, seriously, manly tears were nearly shed. this is my favorite bad. howard was my favorite singer. ill miss you, man. \m/
Howard wrote this song and the record when he was depressed. I watched a lot of videos and I could tell he was, I found it odd how they say pretty much everyone thought he was fine.
It has a very "Save me, Jesus" feel about it. At least, that's how I interpret it. I kind of hope that was part of it, it would be awesome to share a faith with Howard.

I really do hope Howard is a Christian. I relate more to Jesse because he openly states that he is one and writes his lyrics based upon his faith, so if Howard was able to do the same, I would be able to relate to him a bit better than I had before. :)

Well, Jesse is definitely a Christian, he even openly talks about it. Howard, from what I hear, said he had a Christian upbringing and used to attend Christian festivals but I don't know where his faith stands. However, judging by songs like Save Me and the lyrical progression through End of Heartache, As Daylight Dies, and KSE2, it seems he's returned to his faith. :)

For some reason Treyarch never decides to collaborate with Killswitch Engage for a Zombies track. I mean honestly, this would be perfect for a Zombies map. Both the name and the title of the track fit everything perfectly. But no let's just keep working with Avenged Sevenfold.

They could contact Killswitch though. And I never said A7X was bad. I just can't seem to get into them and they've already worked with them twice.
July 2022, still missing Howard, Jessie's been doing great, but I need more of both. Listening to both Jessie and Howard makes me really happy, it's like having divorced parents that got back together

I think this whole album was overshadowed by their warped tour appearance. This is prob howards most emotional performance on this record. EOH is a masterpiece tho.
