Miggy brought a sparkle and a smile to Newcastle. I'll never forget him for his sheer enjoyment of the game. A lot of players are in it purely for the money, yet Miggy would happily play in a Sunday League team. He ran none stop and frankly, as a long term season ticket holder, I don't give two shits what these suddenly appeared life long fans who cry about not getting in. (The year before the takeover 10k were going free). There'll always, be a place in my heart for Miggy and I wish him nothing but happiness going forward. Thanks for some great memories. The goal at Fulham - awesome. Good luck mate.

I think the deal is done but EH probably wanted him to hang on to provide cover today... We now have a week to fill his role in the squad & I really hope that we do. That Haraldsson kid at Lille looks perfect but apparently we aren't looking to go for him until the summer. Wish Miggy all the best and hope he shines in the MLS for a few years to come.

Miggy is perfect analogy of MLS. Drop any MLS team into English pyramid and would probably be a championship or league 1 team, BUT with right opportunities, could compete in Premiership for a limited time. However at the end , being right back where he started and not any better for it.
