I want to apologize for the late update. I really appreciate all the love from the last video, but it got me thinking about how casually I approached the title. I kept wondering if I could create something using only junk, which made me put my next project on hold and restart this one, causing some delays.
To be real, it was tougher than I expected. The hardest part was waiting to find the honest junk that fit my vision. Some materials were limited, making each step a bit of a challenge, but it was totally worth trying!!

I feel like this model is a more rugged, sturdy one, meant for exploring deep space, while the orange one is for more leisurely floating around colonized planets. Or maybe this is the prototype for the orange one? Either way I think they would be friends. Very awesome and cute at the same time. Makes me imagine a nebula full of chill robot fish.
I barely understand how you do it all, but watch in awe as you make it all come together.

Soon you could open up a whole exhibit of your mecha fish sculptures! You could sell them for thousands of dollars and each one will have a different back story. People love recycling and upcycling so I think this would be a big hit. Seriously.
It's always amazing to see what you come up with from trash.
If you haven't yet, check out Studson Studio and his Howl's Moving Castle made from junk. It's one of THE best trash-to-gold builds from the past years.

Looks incredible, but I'm kind of sad that the cool pattern of the filament scrap did not end up on the final piece.

I really respect people that have a vision of something they want to make real and just. make it. that's talent.
I wouldn't kill for your engineering ability but it sure would be a nice skill to have as an artist! Brilliant work!
The real finishing touch is decals. They really add so much to a project!
Out of all the crafting channels I watch yours is the one that blows my mind the most. Other channels make some amazing stuff and their is real artistry and ingenuity, but I can always follow along and could imagine doing it myself. They stick things together and then paint it! But your builds are something else, even though you pretty much just stick things together and paint it too, I'm always like, "how the hell did he do that!"
You are the only modeler that I have seen makes these kinds of models. Your designs and materials used are inspirational.

Only thing that I didn't like was the fact that he faded black paint into the clear on the fins, I felt like it didn't look right but other than that it was straight up amazing and beautiful. Awesome job.

How long do you think something of this quality would take to produce? It probably took multiple months to plan, produce, record and edit everything.

@@strangelings It's also the difference between youtubing full-time vs. alongside a "traditional" job. Doing it on the side will always stretch out the production time even more on top of what you've also mentioned.
@@strangelings I get what you are saying however other artists such as north of the border are able to put out high quality videos Products with similar difficulty level and usually Put out a video at least twice a month. And he actually writes a script and is very entertaining not just silent.
