I first heard Emoke sing Stabat Mater with Philippe Jaroussky and was captivated, I have since heard a concert with Nathalie Stutzmann Handel: Il duello amoroso ,and then Mozart with Osesp and I am a fan. I love her voice and repertoire. What annoys me about 19th-century opera is the theme of the fallen women and the moral wallowing, Barock heroines are gutsy and resilient. this interview is great as it reveals her intelligence and personality. The interviewer asks great questions.
Wonderful to get to know Omöke in this way, what a lovely person. I love her voice.

Moi aussi je suis fan, elle est divine, et a une capacité de jouer des vibratos, fabuleuse.
fascinating to get the behind the thoughts of Emoke towards music but the duet with Phillip Jarousssky was just deliciously superb! 👍👍👏👏
