Dear My Beloved Service Staffers of 2024,
Let me tell you that this summer I’ve learned that my “weak love is still real love.” From the times that it was hard to love you guys to the times it was hard to love the campers, God still loved. And He loves perfectly and relentlessly. I’ve learned through your examples how to live the life Christ died for. That Life that you have given me has shown me the Face of our Lord. You all have covered me in the Mantle and shown me how to cast my crown and trade it out for His. You have blessed me. I love you, more than words can describe. Just your simple smile has brought my heart consolation. The conversations in the bathrooms, the hymns we’ve sung together, the intercession, the blood, sweat, and tears we’ve shed has brought Him glory. I want to affirm you all in your sonship and daughtership to our Savior. You are His beloved Bride. He wants to be the Lover of your soul. Each one of you is a facet of our Lord. This means that your soul literally shines with the light of The Kingdom. By giving your yes this summer to be here, you have given me a summer that’s “better than my wildest dreams.” You’ve made me realize that I am His. I hope that as the years pass you can look back on this video and listen to these songs and see that this summer has changed your life for the better. You all suffered greatly this summer. But that cross was made for you. Let’s join Him up on Golgotha and be like the second thief where his reward is great in heaven. Let this video be a remembrance of the worship and intercession we, as a family, did to stand in the chasm with our Savior for the souls of the lost. I hope this brings you many joyous tears and memories. My friends, I will not forget your names.
