The Truth About What Happened To Nedry’s Body AFTER Jurassic Park

After Jurassic Park we never got to see what happened to Nedry's body. But we were supposed to see his skeleton and the dilophosaurus in the JP4 John Sayles script as well as this concept for the. Telltale game.
In a comic con I went to last year, Wayne Knight was there. I asked him if Nedry’s death in the book was planned to be in the film. Knight said that Steven Spielberg did love the idea, but thought it was too graphic for the rest of film’s tone. The final shot was great, but damn imagine a live action version of Nedry’s death.
They could have technically obscured the whole “tearing out innards” business just like they do the final version but using a bigger dinosaur could have still meant the tone of the scene being way less humorous and Wayne Knight is a comedy actor so we got the dwarf spitter.
Why would you want to see that? In the novel, Nedry's stomach was ripped open. He was found later by Muldoon and compys were ripping his face off. Ewwww...
It sounds awesome in a dinosaur game @@largol33t12
@largol33t12 so that's what happen to his body in this video's thumbnail..interesting
It would have made it an 18 certificate for sure. I think a horror version of Jurassic Park would have really worked. I read the novel just before I saw the film in 93. As a 13 year old, Nedry's death always stayed with me - word for word.
“All he could was pray that it would be over soon.”
He had a pretty big size advantage of it, even with being blinded. Maybe with enough adrenaline he killed it with his bare hands and escaped the island. I'm just saying it would be a cool twist if he's actually still alive.
@@MadMan3498 He’s quoting the Novel, which the Dilophosaurus there was WAY bigger just like the real Dilophosaurus
@@Artlsm Other Way Around Real life Dilos are pretty big and can't spit poision
@@user-fu3hf3fd6s I wasn’t saying they spit acid in real life,I’m saying in the Novel it was *bigger* like the actual Dilophosaurus.
@@Artlsm Makes you wonder why Spielberg had to shrink it to a dwarf in the film. Talk about wasted potential.
I hope we get to come across Dennis Nedry's corpse in Jurassic Park Survival
Oh yea that would be awesome 🎉
That would be sick.
@@Charliegames2012 This is very likely to happen.
I wish we could incorporate Both Nima Cruz and Dr. Laura Sorkin into the JP/JW Film Cannon.❤
@@andreasstavrinou6219 that would be cool 😎
All these years I thought that was a piece of fanart, never realised it was official.
From what I understand it was an exclusive piece from the Telltale game given to the website sidequest. It was shown off at E3 before that though.
Yeah Dennis nedry was being eaten by a poison spitter in the Jurassic park the game it’s only on Xbox 360 and pc computer it’s a good game I have it on Xbox 360 and beat it
@@XGamingExploringI have it on PS3
I always imagined once he kicked the bucket, his body was just eaten by the local compys, just like in the novel.
Could very well of happened in the movie offscreen since compys snuck onto nublar by boat from sorna as they found out in the 1994 cleanup
Compys are awesome, they're cute little guys but are like the cockroaches of dinosaurs.
They’d have food for days with him
Pretty cool detail for his body but I still think Nedry's death in the novel is more disturbing than his entrie skeleton in the cancelled Fourth movie.
Agreed! Him holding his entrails outside his body... unforgettable!
@@aphren5540 And then having the animal grab him by the head……
One scene from the book that is more horryfing is when the compys (little bastards) escape the island and enter a nursery for babies, with the nurse discovering them with the babies in the middle of the night.
I shuddered reading that
@@thatnorwegianguy1986 That's one scene I'm glad they NEVER put into the movies. Horrifying and sets the scene for the mood of the book but would have been terribly out of place for the mood of the movie.
@@aphren5540 Agreed that would have been too much, I was really surprised at how dark the book is compared to the movie.
I've seen that concept art before. Its honeslty on par with his death in the novel.
Also i didnt noticed at first but you can see bloody fingerprints on the steering wheel.
who cares about his body he was eaten alive after that no one cares🤣🤣
@@raven4k998ok
How is it on par with the death in the novel? He gets disemboweled and picked up by the dilophosaurs jaws?
@@darthbigred22 your forgetting about the raptor that came along fought off the dilophosaurs long enough to eat his spleen while he was still alive and then ran off leaving the dilophosaurs to finish him off
Guess my comment was deleted, ok
It’d be a great jump scare to open the jeep door and have the Dilo jump out and attack in the new game and a great nod to the telltale game
Its possible too since its like a day after the movie events
@@Its_Me_Romano barley even a day. I’m excited to get this game

@@kennethcole1886 there was a Jurassic park game released in 2011 that tell about events during and after the first movie. @@jamhousestudios5596 someone else on this thread said theres a new game. Thats the one i was referring to
I mean, in the books Nedry's body gets scavenged by compys after spitter kills him. Now that ingens list confirmed that compys were living in nublar, I assume thats what wouldve happened to his body.
It also got napalm bombed after 🤷♂️
@@Casual_guy1234 In the World continuity the island doesn’t get bombed so the parts of his body that the Dilo didn’t consume likely rotted away while the rest was eaten by scavengers.
@@Dinoslay he was referring to how Nublar gets napalmed in the end of the book. Sorry if I spoiled to the book to you.
@@TheRealGreenGuy Yes, I have read the book and understood it. I was speaking about the movie.
"im totally unappreciated in my time here" 😂
NEDRY being relatable for a moment 😂
0:01 that happened to me on the Jurassic Park Ride at Universal before with the Dilophosaurus animatronic spitting water right into my eye LOL
I mean, it’s been a while since I’ve watched the original movie, but I vaguely recall that the can could only maintain the embryos for a very limited amount of time. As in “hours”, which is why it was important for Nedry to get off the island asap so that the embryos could be moved. So any plot involving that can at this point would be ridiculous as the embryos are long since spoiled/dead.
Except DNA could still be gathered from it
The menthol shaving cream was just awhile don't remember about how long the embryos would last
@@MadMax-yq9ixNo the coolant to keep the embryos viable was 36 hours. After that they'd be useless.
@@MadMax-yq9ixConsider the size of the container (small) and when it was made (the 1990s) and logically there’s just no way it’d last very long at all.
@@coreyg3658 If DNA was all Ingen’s rival Biosyn needed they would’ve just done their own digs for amber. They wanted viable embryos for a reason.
Even then foreign bacteria would make its way into the can pretty fast as it rusted. There’s nothing worthwhile that could be salvaged from it after so many decades.

O that was the Jerrysaurus. He’s had a problem with Newman and the Kramersaurus wasn’t there to talk him out of eating Newman
Have you seen that video where they took an episode of Seinfeld where Kramer was supposed to pick Newman up from the zoo and they edited in the scene from Jurassic Park? I loved it.
th-cam.com/video/UjQkOBlikR4/w-d-xo.html
In cannon the Ingen clean-up team recovered Nedry's body in 94. So unless the new JP movie takes place then I doubt we'll see his remains. But I'm confident it will show up in JP Survival.
I suspect that the original Jurassic Park 2 would've focused on Biosyn coming into Nublar to extract the can and then they would build their own dinosaurs in California. InGen could've gone under, then.
That would've been a nice prologue to TLW.
I once read an interview with Wayne Knight, suggesting he could be in a future Jurassic film, saying "It was small dinosaur and a big meal." He was suggesting that his character would wear an eye patch and have one arm, maybe with a hook, like Felix Leiter in the James Bond novels.
uh, I think your confusing Felix Leiter for the villain in Live And Let Die. *Felix Leiter is Bonds American/CIA Colleague.
He's talking about the novel Live and Let Die where Felix was fed to sharks losing an arm and leg.
@@DarthUmbra Correct. "He disagreed with something that ate him."
@@DarthUmbra oh, ok. now I understand. thanks for clearning that up.
A reveal of the full size adult dilophosaurus and whatever happened to nedry would have been really good. It's really just a shame that so many good Easter eggs were left behind on Isla Nublar and simply ignored in the following three films.
It’s amazing how the seemingly smaller aspects of an older movie are so appreciated even today
The smell from the jeep would be more than pungent
Let's be real
He ate that Dilop and moved to New York, changed his name to Newman to avoid all that depth John wouldn't help him with
Also in fear Dogson would hunt him down with hitmen for not delivering the embryos
I know in my Robertverse, actors involved in various projects that I've watched or heard of fall under two categories:
1. They're the same character (with various explanations behind them).
2. They're related in some way (siblings, cousins, etc.).
Those from Star Wars have a major exception.
Lol love it
He changed his name to Craig Feldspar and moved near to the Wilkinson family and took a job at the Lucky Aid. Those who know will know immediatley.
Is that the mayor from the 1999 Godzilla movie?
@soundbreaker-sk8lh no, that's Michael Lerner. He actually passed last year. I see what you mean, though. This guy is Wayne Knight, aka Newman, from the show "Seinfeld"
It was so cheap the way Dodgson just stumbled across the can in Camp Cretaceous. No call back to the scene from JP at all.
There was a small call back. After he found the can, dilophosourus attacks them, a bit hinting to Nedry's demise.
@@jeremyjones3078 Yer your right now I think about it.
Those Dilophosaurus must have a vendetta against whoever holds that can, they have killed Nedry, they almost killed the girl from the telltale game but got spooked by Troodons, and they failed to kill Dodgson in Camp Cretaceous but managed to finish him off in Dominion.
@@justinyu5892 The easy explanation is that's their hunting/nesting territory that they're defending and the can's presence is largely incidental to their attacks.
That line from the guy in the tell tale game "i'm gunna smell like a dead fat guy for a month" Always cracks me up.
Would love to see the can come back into play in the new Survival game. :3 Perhaps also a larger "adult" dilophosaurus to really make it interesting!
I was seriously hoping against hope right before "Dominion" came out that we'd get an opening sequence kind of similar in tone to the opener for "Fallen Kingdom," where the camera is moving forward through a jungle at night, we hear a car horn just going and going (like you hear in a car wreck), or maybe see headlights in the distance, and finally when the camera moves into a clearing we see Nedry's Jeep at the top of the waterfall, and text appears on the screen "120 miles west of Costa Rica" there's a slight delay and then more text, "June 13, 1993. 24 hours after disaster" (or something). We hear voices echoing in the jungle in the distance, flashlight beams suddenly appear, pointing in every direction; we cut to a close up of the muddied Jurassic Park logo on the side of the Jeep as a flashlight beam hits it, and someone's like "Over here!" and then a bunch of armed guys come into frame, maybe led by Dodgson. They find Nedry's body, and ultimately find the cryo-can. (You'd never guess that I've thought a LOT about this 😆). GIVE ME THAT GODDAMN SCENE. GIVE ME THAT GODDAMN MOVIE.
Nice!
I've always wondered what happened to Nedry's corpse after his fateful encounter with the Dilophosaurus that turned him into a midnight snack.
It obviously rotted away. Corpses don't last long in a tropical climate
I'd like to see the next movie in like an r-rated version. More graphic, blood and guts kinda thing. Maybe with flashbacks, like Nerdy's body found and stuff like that.
"Looks like you dropped a few pounds"
Even in death he dont get a break lol
Nedry could not see the Dilophosaurus coming, but he could hear its footsteps and feel its hot breath near him. He flailed his arms in a futile attempt to ward off the attack he knew was coming. Then he felt a new pain in his belly, causing him to reach down and discover he was holding his own intestines in his hands. After Nedry toppled over, the Dilophosaurus grabbed him by the head with its jaws and lifted him off the ground, breaking his neck.
I just wanted a R rated Jurassic movie. But that won’t happen because it won’t sell movie tickets
Glad im not alone. I keep praying for a remake of the original that pulls no punches and is not a family friendly movie and i love the original movie like it was one of my kids.
A mini series is a safer bet.
@@Dinoslay Yes! A mini series true to the novel would be so good.
It could happen if the franchise wasn't managed so poorly by Frank Marshall.
Yeah, if they made a series exactly like the novel, leaving nothing out, would be goated
Dennis Nedry's body was eaten by Dilophosaurus after it killed him and Compies finished off the Carcass
2011 game is still cannon in my opinion. JWD nearly ruined everything 😤
Great video of what happened after the events of the first Jurassic Park movie especially Nedry getting killed by the Dilophosaurus and it was terrifying and scary in my opinion.
Great points you’ve made on the video and I do agree with your points on the video.
Great work and as always, Take It Easy and Life Finds A Way.
Dilopho: Nah I'd spit.
The thing is in the Netflix series "Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous", Dodgson manages to find the Barbasol can. But he doesn't find Nedra's corpse. But anyway, this is to explain why Dodgson had the can in "Jurassic World: Dominion". So the events of the Telltale game are not canon since the can ends up lost forever. If a film or whatever in the future does end up being made in which it shows someone discovering Nedry's corpse, they can't show the character(s) discovering the Barbasol can.
In the ARG material for Fallen Kingdom it is revealed that Nedry’s body was indeed found by clean up crew in 1994, with additional reference to Jurassic Park:The Game events. Doubt we will see his remains in the movies or a show, but in JP Survival… who knows?
Hope that it doesn’t appear, I like to believe both 2011 game and Survival play out during the same time without overwriting each other.
@@warsthemarvel8608 2011 game is already mostly non-canon. Events of the game happened, but they turned out differently. Though I believe Nedry’s remains were still found
What’s strange is that the canister that Nedry had was found, but wasn’t anywhere near his vehicle when the animated series showed Dodgson discovering it.
The vehicle along with Nedry's body were most likely cleared out before the construction of Jurassic World. But it is strange how Dodgson literally stumbled upon it. The can was buried under mud 25 years before it was discovered. And yet, when Dodgson found it, it was just covered by a thin layer of dirt in the middle of a dirt road.
I’ve always wondered how all of the workers from the original park discovered the news of what happened, and how they reacted to the tragedy and to suddenly not having jobs anymore. Obviously they had all signed NDAs of some kind and presumably got a handsome severance package, but still…what was that communication like? Imagine getting THAT email from the InGen H.R. department.
Back when I was a Kid, I thought the Black Goo turned him into a Dinosaur...
Another brilliant video Klayton and I completley agree, this would be extremely cool to see and was a missed oppertunity.
Speaking of which, Dominion misses alot of oppertunities that feel almost criminal to miss when making a Jurassic fianle.
One of which (that could have been the best scene of the whole film) is the fact that Grant, Sattler and Malcom don't know that Dodgson was behind the whole scheme that caused the downfall of the park, and they never find out throughout the whole film.
We could of had a scene of confession were Grady has a gun to Dodgson's head while Mazie is pondering around his office before finding and asking about the Barbosal can. Dodgson could have tried to instruct her to leave it alone knowing it's significance to the original trio before they all begin to question him on the can and then he would tell them that he sent Nedry to turn off the power and extract the embryos all those years ago. Then we could have Grant lash out at him or something for basically scarring his life.
It feels like such wasted potential and would definetley have cemented Dodgson as the villan we all wanted and deserved for the finale.
But thats just my thoughts. Let me know what you think Klayton, should this scene have been in Dominion?
Thumbnail made me think this was a reupload

Of course, the dilo could fit in the jeep because it was just a cute little babies in the movie. Remember Spielberg himself also said, in behind the scenes, they were just Babies.
Also (long read)
Spielberg: I want a frilled Dino that spits venom.
Actual archeologists: No, that is impossible
201.3 million years in the past
Angel: God, there is something wrong with this baby two-legged lizard it is spitting stomach acid.
God: I know, so cool, right? I tried venom. But yeah.... Half the angels supervised the babies kept getting blinded.
Angel: What kind of cruel creator would do that........
God: What? Just look at how cute the spitty lizards are. "Holds baby dilophasauras in hands.
Angel: *mumbles* Next project you do, I want no part in and will hate it and corrupt it.
God: OH, by the way, my next 200 million year project will be called the Era of Homos.
Angel: 👿
Lemme guess, that angel was Lucifer.

When Jurassic World first came out I had a hope that they would show the old visitors centre which they did but I had a hope that we’d see Nedry’s Jeep but didn’t 😞 but maybe some one who makes animations or live action fan films could make it! But that’s wishful thinking
That would be cool to discover Nedry’s jeep and corpse only to be chased back into the park. I can then imagine after a long and tiresome escape she then tripped over Muldoon’s SPAS-12 and the game suddenly changed from being hunted to become the hunter.
Showing LOVE for my absolute FAVORITE channel period thank you for another great video once again my friend. Can't wait to see what's to cone for this new installment in the Jurassic franchise. Thank you Klayton and have a blessed day everyone
Unfortunately Jurassic Park was ruined by Jurassic world and all previous movies afterwards. The whole concept of the cloned kid the dinosaurs getting loose was absolutely stupid! And quite frankly after his bad as the Jurassic World movies have been they need to take this franchise and let it become extinct just like the dinosaurs did.
The poor little Dilophosaurus ate most of that fat man then had the mother of all tummy aches. While looking for a bottle of Alka-Seltzer tablets, the ailing animal muttered to itself: "I can't believe I ate the whole thing" then starred in a new Alka-Selzer commercial!
It was obviously found

It’s not funny, but it’s funny. 😂

When will the Disney’s dinosaur review come out?
Do you want trans velociraptors and nonbinary Trex's? Bc thats how you get trans velociraptors and nonbinary Trex's.
Love the amazing content. Keep up the excellent work ❤
How did the Dilo fit inside the jeep if the passenger side door was also closed? Regardless, I'm always down for more Dilophosaurus'.
Literally love your videos
THIS WOULDN'T HAVE WORKED.
When Dennis first received the cryo-can, he's told the refrigerant would last 72 hours.
After that, it would presumably run out, and the embryos inside would die as they thawed out.

"Hello Newman!"
The book was more gruesome.
Thank you. As a fan of the original thank you!!!!! You rock for this video. Lots of work. Lots of thought. You did humanity a service
The Cryo can was taken by Nima in the game, right after jurassic Park movie like you said, so it couldn't be found near Nedry's jeep.
It was lost at some point in the game (depending on the option you choose).
Was later found in the jungle near the Center by Dogson on Camp Cretaceous, and can be seen in Dominion.
Specifically the sad ending where she dies trying to get it back only to get eaten along with the Can.
We do see the can in Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous Season 5. Lewis Dodgeson stumbles across it when they're tracking Blue. Its not near the hill, but it's there. He says "Could've used this 25 years ago". Then,a Dilophosaurus comes OUT OF NOWHERE and jumps them. They survive.
What are your thoughts on the idea of a dinosaur human hybrid movie?
That would totally kill this franchise I think.
Not for a Jurassic Park movie I wasn’t talking about a Jurassic Park movie
I've missed your guitar intro...just reminds me of "back in the day" ya know? ;)
I hope the Troodon’s appear in some shape or form in JP survival without any overwriting bs.
Jurassic Park has always made people think the dilo is small when there actually about 23 ft (7m) in length
The Barbarol can is shown in Biosyn in Dominion.
Yo Klay, great video as always. Ik you were just as upset as we were when we didn't get to see any new JP Survival gameplay at the summer game fest 😂😂😂
Yeah major letdown haha
Yeah they really should do a scene where they show his skeleton and you see the Jeep I don't know why they never did that even like a deleted scene and I'm shocked in every Jurassic Park movie they have not had anybody found that canister
I wish they had stayed on the storyline better for the Jurassic park movies. There was such potential with the drama surrounding the personal relationships, the morality of the whole experiment, the people who were victims, the internal politics and conflicts, and the CAN. It would’ve been really cool if the second movie incorporated part of their mission as retrieving the can. It wouldn’t have taken much investigation to realize that was what Nedry was up to. It was entirely possible to find his body, but it’s like the JP series just left untied ends everywhere and made it ridiculous. Like a T. rex in LA, a whole movie pretty much dedicated to spinosaurus, so much lost potential
When’s Jurassic Park The Game Remastered?
Sadly, never. Telltale shut down in 2018.
Using the shaving cream can as a McGuffin would have been awesome. If I could do a JP flick, I would pull a Halloween and do an alternate timeline parallel to the main one. The plot could be some BioSyn guys come to the island a few hours after the first film to get the can. We could even see a few of the unseen elements from the first film like the Mosasaur exhibit and even some dinosaurs we saw in Lost World. Also, I would like to include elements where some people are killed by veggie eaters, not just meat eaters.
He felt something warm and wet in his hands, only to find out he was holding his own intestines
I love that you used Jurassic Park: Warpath videgogame music in 4:00
"Once. Twice. Three tiiiimes a lady!" XD
You know it always bugged me they never show what happened to his body or that can. Imagine how gory it can be in the movies now……
Ive seen JP countless times but never noticed Ellie's missing shirt. My theory now is that she saw his corpse and covered his face with her shirt out of a sign of respect. Thats way better than them just leaving with no idea what happened to Robert.
About the can, it was recovered in the telltale game Jurassic Park the game and at the end was crushed under rexys foot, the Harding's and nima (depending on choice) escape on a raft with money on it for nedry
I don't need to see a graphically half-eaten human body in a JP film, it's more about tone and intensity. In JP when Arnold's arm falls on Ellie's shoulder, there's a bit of gore, but a PG-13 amount. It's the suggestion of 'what does the rest of his remains look like' and the raptor attack immediately after that ratchet up the tension. Fallen Kingdom did this much better than the rest of the JW movies, but undercut it with fourth-wall breaking and silly, forced humor. I still think TLW is the perfect blueprint for how to balance adventure, humor, suspense and violence in one of these films.
Humor in FK: Franklin incessantly screaming at the top of his lungs / the Indoraptor winking and smiling.
Humor in TLW: Nick misunderstands and spits in Sarah's hand / "Uh, I don't know... big iguanas?"
So glad Gareth and Koepp are steering the ship this time. There is an atmosphere of awe mixed with dread that Trevorrow and co. didn't understand, they were just guns for hire who loved the first movie and wanted to nostalgia bait while following the MCU formula. Jurassic is a vibe, an atmosphere. They could throw every piece of pre-established lore out of the window and I'd be happy as long as they made it feel like a 90s techno-thriller adventure film. The Edge starring Alec Baldwin and Anthony Hopkins is a better Jurassic movie than any of the World films.
What did you change your intro?
The TH-camr Shadows did talk about this subject & revealed what happened to his body.
Klayton - I love everything you make! Thanks for all you do. To answer your question: I think it would be very interesting to see JP7 tie up some of these loose ends. I’m also very excited for how Jurassic Park Survival will portray Nedry’s circumstance. If it is supposed to give us a “fully realized” Isla Nublar, then surely the player could stumble across his jeep. Maybe we’d get a dilo interaction at that point, too? Given Survival’s current Pegi 16 rating, do you think we’d see a torn up Nedry like some of the concept art?
I don’t think it will look like the concept art but it definitely should haha! Also thank you for the kind words! I really appreciate it!
I love little videos like this. “ what if this…”, “what happened with that….”
Videos exploring the possibilities and theories, true or not, would be amazing!
The fact that you mentioned "Carnisaur" was awesome!
I just finished reading Dennis Nedry’s death yesterday. Tomorrow I’m watching Jurassic Park, Happy 31st B-Day Jurassic Park!!!
You know, I swear I remember a scene from one of the movies where on the island a guy kneels down and grabs the shaving cream can and looks around confused on why it was out there before fiddling with it and seeing the embryos still inside
As a kid, I thought the eggs found in the "nature finds a way" scene were a result of the sample being leaked into the wild. As an adult, I understand that is not how things work, but did anyone else think along those lines or just me?
*Mr. Swackhammer (from Space Jam):* (reaction of Dennis Nedry a.k.a. Stan Podolak): It smells like a SPY!
They could have used the new company that took over after Ingen to discover the cryo can and bio engineered the dinosaurs that were used for Jurassic World and explain it to Owen and Claire.
The remains of the jeep and skeleton could have also been discovered by Owen when he was looking for Claire's nephews.
Other horrible deaths in Jurassic Park are Dodgson's in the second book, he was there to steal an egg but the tyrannosaur breaks all his limbs and then places him in its nest helpless to be slowly gnawed to death by its chicks, maybe with a bit of help from the adult. Another one is the cowardly tour guide guy who gets followed and bullied by a juvenile tyrannosaur that was being playful, before it gets the idea to just bite his arm off.
I kinda like the film in that it shows how a little Dilo can still easily take out a large human. A full size one would be overkill lol.
I think what they should do is make a movie that's set in between the events of JP3 and JW. Like maybe following Hammonds passing and InGen convincing the Costa Rican government to give them back control of Isla Nublar they could send in a group similar to Ludlows group from Lost World to contain and secure the dinosaurs so they can go in and refurbish the island to create Jurassic World.
Maybe their leader hunting down some dinosaurs stumble upon the remains of Nedrys Jeep and find the Barbasol can rusted and half crushed sticking out of the dirt. Then maybe he gets ambushed by a pack of dinos and takes shelter in the Jeep, only to find Nedrys half eaten and decayed corpse.
That would fit very well.
if you have seen Jurassic world dominion, pay close attention to what Lewis Dodgson is packing into his case, its the CAN that he was waiting for from nedry in the 1st film, not sure if this is any use to anyone though lol
When Dennis was blinded by it's spit, he probably panicked and futility fumbled around, blindly trying to either push the dino off or tried to find the door to let himself out.
But if it's the latter, as he would panic and try to find the handle for the door, the dinosaur would rip his throat out and eat him
Not an easy way to go, but his actions led to that point, so I would say he earned it
All in all we still at least got to see the cryo can in Jurassic Park Dominion
they had the perfect opportunity to show us that in camp cretaceous given dodgson actually finds the barbasol can completely at random, but there's absolutely no mention of dennis or his jeep on screen.
him screaming like that is him screaming at Jerry in fustration or when he freaks out about the mail.
While seeing the ruins of the old visitor center in JW was a nice touch, they squandered an opportunity to have Zack and Gray end up on an old abandoned service road, follow it for a bit, then stumble across Nedry's Jeep. Upon going up to it, they see signs of a struggle inside, like dried blood on the windshield and torn seats. They open the door, and in a jumpscare similar to JP3, Nedry's skeleton falls limply onto them and they freak out. They later tell Claire and Owen about it, adding to their moment in the truck when they try to hold hands.
Well, we had the can in Camp Cretaceous season 5, I’m just surprised we never saw the car, as the can was buried at the foot of what used to be that small waterfall, so the car, and nedry’s skeleton, should have been just a few metres above dodgson when he found the can.
05:09 Similary, since the movie cuts to Muldoon stalking the raptor AFTER Ellie escapes the shed, I assume she must have heard the at least the gunshot that he lets off when the matriarch pounces him. Heck, perhaps she even heard Muldoons dying screams.
If not for any perception of Muldoon dying, it'd be strange how Ellie doesn't ask if he came back to the bunker at all when she meets Grant again. IMHO The movie kind of suggests that she knows what the viewers know, that Muldoon did not survive the 'hunt'...
Good point. None of the other characters had actual proof and confirmation that Robert Muldoon died and they left the island on the helicopter possibly leaving him behind with the possibility that he may have still been alive.
At least as far as I know the can was canonically never found until Dodgson found it in Camp Cretaceous season 5 and since Jurassic Park is soft canon it can be safe to say that Nima never found the can and parts of the story have to be rewritten by fans like us so that everything makes sense like pteranodons attacking helicopters which is hard to make sense unless Rexy could have smashed them.
Very interesting seeing the concept art of Nedry’s body! Definitely would be an added bonus for a tv show, prequel etc! 🎉💗🦖🦕
The was a whole section of the 2011 game that was scrapped because it would have raised the rating (most likely focusing on a victim of the Troodon who doesn’t end up appearing in the finished product). The concept art of Nedry leans into this, and given what we do get especially with the possible deaths it’s the darker edge fans have been wanting.
wouldn't necessarily be that complicated to do, a stand alone movie set shortly after InGen evacuates a small group of people go there as they're on a boat, just a group of friends weather gets worse, they decide to seek shelter in a bay on the island and we take it from there
