We got into a disused Army test site in the UK where they test new vehicles really long roads and barracks the roads just went in a biog oval test track with huge ramps for tanks to climb over. Nothing as good as this though lovely place to explore!

I don’t know why did they get rid of so much of it because it should’ve been left for people to realize in to know you can’t hide. Your history must embrace it.

Very nice, recently went here myself. Great place but I think I could draw the barracks layout in my sleep we had to check so many to find the interesting features! Spent 5 hours there and still only found some of the Soviet murals and stuff.

I'm in Ontario, Canada and we had a nazi camp here in bowmanville that was used to accommodate nazis during the war and apparently we fed them well and let them play hockey and everything. Probably released them all with no prosecution as many nazis were granted asylum here in Canada. They destroyed the camp a few years ago stating it was too dangerous and too expensive to fix but in actuality they were probably just ready to cover up the truth about Canadian involvement in helping nazis during and after the war.
The pow installation was called camp 30.

After the war, hundreds of thousands of Nazis were captured. After ten years of hard labor, they were released. Or did you think they all had to be executed? Actually, only a relatively small group of officers were guilty of the Holocaust, and they were executed.

A veey interesting place, obviously built for the secret training and equipping of the German army during the time after WW1 when they were banned from such activity. A pity the place was changed and trashed by the Soviets. When history is preserved we get to study and learn from it. Thank you for taking us there on your Eastern front road trip ❤.

Wow amazing. You should come to make video in Poland. Two recommended locations. Miedzyrzecki Rejon Umocniony - underground tunels aprox. 32 km and above bunkers connected with those tunnels.
Another one is town - Borne Sulinowo there was artillery school of the Wehrmacht. And before the outbreak of the joint German-Soviet invasion of Poland, which started World War II in 1939, the training grounds housed Heinz Guderian's XIX Army Corps. During the later stages of World War II an artificial desert was built there for the units of Erwin Rommel's Afrika Korps (the other such training ground was established in the Błędów Desert near Olkusz). At the same time the area became part of the so-called Pomeranian Wall, a line of almost 1000 concrete bunkers guarding the pre-war Polish-German border and eastern approaches to Berlin.

Wow, I have read about this place. It is sad that it is to be demolished, it's a very important part of WW2 history. The Russians destroyed a lot of historical stuff because of it's connection to Adolf Hitler and the NASDP.

It was certainly a beautiful estate at one time and I suspect even so when the Russian's initially took over and billeted this site with Officers and men. So sad in a sense it's been allowed to deteriorate like this but I'm sure it partly due to it's different uses and reminders. Those huge tanks look like tanks to brew beer ha ha Thank you both for sharing it with us all and be careful, safe, and stay healthy.

Sad that they will be tearing down these structures. Understand how some of them are hazards, but it would have been great if most of the "camp" could have been saved and made into a resort or something. Probably would make a nice retreat for some. Couldn't believe the huge tanks there! Hard to say if water or gas, but they were HUGE! lol. Thanks for showing us before history is erased from there.
