- 2003 BMW R1150r Roadster Custom Exhaust build and sound test. Stock muffler was removed, catalytic converter opened up, catalyst removed, converter closed back up and added a tip. The result is a very modest sound volume with a sleek look. it was also a weight savings of 12 pounds overall, muffler was 12 pounds, and the catalyst was 1 lb.

Any increases in fuel efficiency or overall HP? It's got to be breathing a lot better!
I assume that u cant legally just remove the cat?.... I mean why not y pipe it?
I can do whatever I want. It's already h-piped. I kinda like the stock box. If I where to do it again, I would also debaffle the can.
Did you have to get it tuned afterwards ?
What did u do with the lambda sensor? Any faultcodes?
