What a pair of psychological pestilence. Giant psyker mosquitoes and balloon-octopi from the Warp. For mutual impression made by these xenos, you could've just held on your chosen opening image for the entire video, GDN. Not only is the nature of their prey the most threatening aspect to the Psychneuein but so are the numbers with which they invade a human population. Loscust-like; they are insectile, after all. As for the increasingly-mad Inquisitor Crozier of Captain Drake's recorded anecdote for this species being the true culprit-target for the psychic bugs, that was about as surprising as daemonic forces gathering around the Maledictum. Grimly-funny that part of the Enslavers' scientific designation includes the term “Subjugator”. I think I find the death of the Enslavers' prey more horrific because not only is the victim's mind, psyche and very brain being assaulted but a given person's material body is siphoned and consumed to turn into an incorporeal gateway, literally torn open by more of those intrusive aliens. Plus, the eerie “death lights” that they cause to generate, like Stephen King's It...extra creepy. And the description of those gang members' murders sounds excruciatingly drawn-out. Thank you very much, Narrator, for bringing more flying, floating mind-predator nightmares to my nights with another enthralling episode from the rogue trader's extensive expedition. It's all fascinating from a fictional basis at a distance, anyway...so long as the things don't actually invade my sleep. 'Til your next Blackstone visit, may you keep well for the rest of your day and have an excellent weekend. The Emperor protects.
Oh boy Mike when I found out that clown was a spider who glowed like a lamp I was even more scared oh man there's nothing like putting two different Things a boy will fear in his life." 😱👍
My headcanon is that they literally evolved during the course of the War in Heaven which is why when it ended they seemed to go along with it for the most part.
we encountered the psychneuein during a table top game we were playing eldar thay tore our allies apart out of the 25 eldar that were with us we were the only 2 survivors ( we were a fire drake and our friend was a striking scorpion) everyone else was slaughtered it was a horrific but fun time ( if you're wondering how we made it we ran into the webway and ran some more blowing the gate and telling some fellow eldar so they could help get the spirit stones back )
Oh boy Psyhneuein that leave larvae in your head gives me the creeps but Croiser . Got that experience real bad you can imagine that bloody faith to be wiped out, by Warp--Wasp from your worst nightmares, was horrendous 😱that one Enslavers 10:24 look like a HP Lovecraft demonic squid like bug draining of your life force I find horrifying,the lore, about these about the warp bug entities are a creepy good indeed."😃👍

Scolers wiser than your self??? You got to be kidding me GDN!!! Your wiser than the Inquisition!!! Literally!!!
The scary floating potatoes known as the Enslavers have always intrigued and confused.... are they Xenos? are they a form of warp entity?
Both, look like xeno, that’s xeno.
Yes.
My headcanon is that they literally evolved during the course of the War in Heaven which is why when it ended they seemed to go along with it for the most part.
@@TheEldritchGod I Agree!
@@mueezadam8438 I like this theory and claim it for my headcanon as well!
I was under the impression that Enslavers were a problem of the ancient past!
Learned something new today!
And yes they have a definite Lovecraftian tone!

I always found the way the psychneuein reproduce to be terrifying.
@GrimDarkNarrator I always pronounce 'em as S'eye'kh-noo-een.
Nothing good comes from the warp. And there is no really good way to deal with any of it either.
Two of the most annoying oponents in Warhammer 40k: Gladius relics of war.
