Why is career counseling important today? Career and counseling both separately are important as they are as counseling for Career. Career, in Indian society's view, to have a fat salary and job security while the importance for counseling is still blooming in our country though it has fastened during the pandemic as mental health as become quite a topic of discussion. Speaking of Career counseling, it is pivotal in telling a confused theoretically spoon fed student of the Indian education system what actually he or she 'practically' wants to do in life. When the entire world around is just restricting the child to take up a subject which the child has good grades in rather than interest in the same, career counseling helps a child broaden his horizon and realise that a job is not just for money but a means of self satisfaction too. This is the need of the hour to prevent students who are not actually interested in medical or engineering from being pushed into the same and leading.
