Just ran the first 300 rounds thru my new Sig Sauer P226-Mk25. Fabulous firearm! I knew it was made for me the first time I fondled one at Cabela's years ago. Had to settle for a Springfield XD9 due to low firearm stock during the pandemic. That gun didn't fit my big hands and shooting it became annoying. Don't get me wrong, the XD is a good value, quality firearm in it's own right. I was finally able to get the P226 last month. What a difference compared to the XD. I shot both side by side last week and immediately made more accurate shots with the first mag I put in the P226.
@PeterReid1993 unless they've changed the US Secret Service service weapons used .357sig for years. My middle brother is a now retired Special Agent and his duty weapon from '94- 2008 was Sig P229 in .357sig. It has a hard push without over shooting the target.
@@SMichaelDeHart internet says they changed it in 2019. But damn that’s a hell of a time to be using .357SIG. Ballistically there’s nothing wrong with it. But it just never caught on the way 9mm or .45ACP did.
When it comes to higher capacity semi-auto pistols, I Rock with Sig P220 & P320, GLOCK 20 & 21, and HK Mark 23. The GSR1911 is a guilty pleasure of mine. Kinda like the Colt 1911, Kimber, and Para-ordinance.
My favorite Sig Sauer is the stainless elite P226 in 9mm with the Rosewood grips!!! I added a stainless steel trigger and the white aluminum grips for range shooting.
My first pistol was a P228 purchased new in Germany in 1993. I still own it and it's been 100% flawless, many thousands of rounds later. My 'go-to' AR is a SIG 516. Purchased new around 2011, again.. after many thousands of rounds fired, it's been flawless. My P365, purchased new in early 2018, has over 2700 + rounds fired from it.. with out issue. I've nearly carried this pistol daily, since buying it. These are just the highlights. The 226, 229s and other SIGs, ( minus the Mosquito, ) I own/owned have nearly all performed just as well.
All these “top 5s” for 2024 placing the XL over the XMacro are wild. What is the benefit? Lower capacity? Cheaper? Smaller? What about the benefits of the XMacro?
I can see where the shorter grip can be nice, then use 17rd mags when possible. However, you lose the flat face trigger, comp and standard rail. Edit: the XL has a full length barrel also, so it does have that advantage.
I carry the P210 Carry. I don’t care about the limited capacity. I carry 2 extra mags and the gun hits all the flavor points. Feel, comfort, weight, action, durability, accuracy and overall operation. I wouldn’t trade for anything.
If you get the P320 you don't even have to pull the Trigger. It goes off on its own if it feels Threatend. Its an added feature & att no extra cost to customer. It will attack its owner if it dosent like its owner.
I'm a newer gun owner I got maybe four or five months under me I go to the range 2,3 or 4 times a week as much as I can when I can I got 365 XL and 365x macro non-comp love both of them but I think I favor the XL
I mostly carry a sig p228, never a problem....i shoot it like it is an extension of my finger.....i use a grip laser with night sights and i had the barrel throated with work done on it's trigger as i do with all my weapons......All my Sigs are from the 1976 to the 1990 time period....i see no reason to start investing in so called modern weapons....My experience is that the newer, is the cheaper made, yes they have made advances in tecnology, but not in reference to these weapons for them being any better..i will keep what i have...... p220, p228, p226 p232 and mosquito 22..Over 40 years old and work like new, i never had an issue of any kind with any oof them or their mags....Any chance the Sig 320 will put out a thinner frame in 45 cal.?
I see them like Ford Chevy or Dodge people swears by whatever they like or have had good luck with there is so many options to carry every day I like the p365 XL and the p365x macro non composition play you got hellcats Glock 43x Smith & Wesson M&P 2.0 I think that's what it is there is so many out there that you could carry everyday affordable
@@nathanielovaughn2145 Look up the countless lawsuits against Sig Sauer for their faulty line of handguns, specifically their P320 line. Many people, including active duty police officers have had their gun discharge on them while in the holster and shoot and injure them. One female officer’s P320 went off while in her bag during transport when she was walking out of a parking lot. Another officer had hers go off in her holster while she was driving. It has been tested and verified to go off from even a simple drop test. The slightest bump or even the slightest graze of the trigger can cause it to go off. There’s an issue with trigger and firing mechanism. Sig Sauer did a “soft recall” and offered to “upgrade” the pistol for free instead of doing a recall. You can find these videos right here on TH-cam.
@@nathanielovaughn2145There are “rumors” of the P320 model discharging. Sig has blamed incorrect holster usage which I don’t know if I fully accept, and I certainly don’t feel like the response adequately addresses the concern. I love Sig, but I think they should be more forthcoming about the evidence they have to explain the discharges. On the other hand, I have never experienced ANY concern with a Sig product and wonder how much of the hype is fueled by haters, or by a company that didn’t get the big contracts.
I carry the p365 XL and I carry the p365x macro and I can conceal them both inside the waist there are so many holsters out there you got to find the best one for you but they are very easy to conceal I do not leave my house without one of them in my pants at all times
I need a full sized 9mm I need to see something better than the 92 Beretta and Glock 17 ....I like the starcotti or whatever it's called but the idiots want $4000 for it ... The most I've ever paid for a gun is $1,600 😂🤣
I know what gun you are talking about and its nice. Try a sig sauer custom works. Maybe the sig sauer 1911 scorpion? I bought the sig p320 scorpion. Its very nice and it was about $1300 . Its gotta a metal frame instead if polymer like the regular p320
I'm not sure your going to find "better" than Glock 17, and I'm not a Glock 17 for a 9mm. All striker fired poly pistols are pretty much Glocks. If you want a different gun just to say you have a different gun then I would point you to a Sig M17 (but I like thumb safeties) or a FN 509.

love the Sig P365 line up.
I've used a Sig P229 in .357sig for my EDC over 10yrs. Love it!! Also own 5 other Sig Pistol's and rifles.
there's people that carry .357sig?

I have the P365XL & P329. Both are comfortable to carry and very accurate
Big on Sig !
The new Sig P226 X5 Legion is a gem. smooth, flat, built like a brick house, and will be a legacy gun.
Which specific model is pictured ?

Rosewood isn't cocobola
What happened to the 365 X Macro? Is this one not made anymore?
What's your experience with the durability and reliability of Sig Sauer pistols over time?
P226, P229, P228 are proven...P365 series on its way to trust with your life status

I only own 4 of those; P320 M17, P220 Elite Scorpion, P226 Pro cut with Piranha grips and 365 XL Spectre.
I don't understand why there is no love or mention of the SP2022. It's about 60% of the cost of a P226 and it's as smooth and accurate.

Great Stuff 💯 Luv the Sig 💥💥💥💥💥💥💥
Good video, but missed my favorite carry gun...my beloved P938. But I know I'm in a minority with my affinity for that particular firearm.
Also a 938 and 238 fan. Good CCW guns. Also own the 290, 220 , 365 and Mosqito 22lr.
Every Sig is my favorite!😆
The 220 legion frames are alloy, not steel
Where is the P365 X-Macro ?
Veey nice sig sauer 2024

このシグと言う銃かっこいいね!
320 was 1st and 365 2nd, travels more and is quite like the other, in that order.

if it works, don't fix it
Sig sauer has had a huge drop in quality after no longer made in Germany :-(
That may be, but my 365 hasn't had a misfire after well over 2,000 rounds. Not disagreeing, jus sayn'....
I agree.
Everyone has their opinion about carry guns, but what’s the best one to carry.

As long as you don’t mind your pistol going off on its own 😆, then they’re great pistols! 🤷♂️👍
How does any gun "go off on ots own"? Serious question. I'm curious about any such experience you've had, especially as I am new to shooting. Thanks.

This all about outside carry guns! Even the Sig 365XL is to big to CC!
Bullshit!
Thats not true, you are very much able to carry majority of these pistols if done correctly

So how many of these can I get in Communist California?
You need a vacation home in Arizona…problem solved! 😎
Variants of the P320, p365, p226, p229, p220... probably some others.
You get the one with an anvil sticking out the top😢
It all depends on how big your checkbook is. Just ask the wife how many checks are left, and that's how many you can buy.😅
Move!

Sig P226, CZ75, FN High Power and HK USP are all full size 9mm that have a reputation for reliability and accuracy

SIG triggers suck,,.....
User error
They go off if you drop them even after they say the fixed the problem
