    Thank you so much for showing how to remove the blade, and the hint about turning it on to switch the lengths. I was so frustrated trying to remove the blade and worried that I would break it. The image in the instructions for removing the blade was so confusing. Glad I found your video!

    Thank u for this video, I just got mine and I’m new at grooming. I have a maltipoo and I’m not sure at what number to but the blade at for the body and is their a different number to put it on for the back side or under side ? I don’t want it to short would anyone know ? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Is their a video to show how to groom with this clipper? 😂 I could use it thank u

    • @livingthedigitallife
      @livingthedigitallife  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello @Bluesky, I'm not a groomer but my advice would be to start with the longer attachments, see how it looks and then go shorter if you need to. Thanks for the question! If anyone else can chime in, please do :)

      I believe it's alright for the price I was given one but ,I am wondering how long it will hold up as I have an Airedales first time thru it started out alright but soon as it got to the thicker places it had a problem next time it will be easier before ngs it's been done once . If I was buying it myself it would be fine for a smother coated dog ,but I don't believe it will hold up to the Airedales very long

      I was going to return the clippers because I could not get the blade off-thank you for posting. I am still confused about the guides- if I want to clip so that my YorkiePoo has 1 inch of hair on his body, what setting do I use on blade and which guide do I use with it. My little dog is a rescue and 99% of the time he is so calm and sweet. Take him to groomer and he goes nuts and has already been kicked out of 3 places. So I am going to give it a go and any help/tips would be greatly appreciated.

    • @livingthedigitallife
      @livingthedigitallife  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I would start with one of the bigger clips and see how that looks, if you want to go shorter start using one of the smaller clips which will give you a shorter length, good luck!

    for the blade setting the lowest .8 makes the cut shorter or the highest 2 makes it shorter. Also the combs for a short cut should I go lower like a 3 or higher

    • @livingthedigitallife
      @livingthedigitallife  ปีที่แล้ว

      .8 would make it cut shorter and for the combs, the lower numbers will give you a shorter cut. I hope this answers your questions!

      @livingthedigitallife  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hello Jan! When I use the combs I usually always have it on the shortest setting at 0.8. I can't remember what size guard comb I used at that time but if I were you I would start at the largest one and work your way down until you find the length you like the best. Thanks for the question!

      @@livingthedigitallife Thanks for the quick reply! No, not damaged, just dull. The blade sharpening services around here are about $12.00 a blade, so I thought maybe having a couple ready blades extra instead of being in the middle of a job and having to send the blade off for a week or two. By the way, if anyone ever replies to you, could you send to me (as I don't think I'll be alerted.)

    Are the clippers still working good for you? Any issues? How long do the blades stay sharp? How do you sharpen them?

    • @livingthedigitallife
      @livingthedigitallife  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      We've used these several times and and the blades are still sharp. No issues so far. If you have a pet with thick matted hair it is hard for the combs to get through it but that is the case for any clipper, not just this one. To sharpen the blades you will have to go to a blade sharpening service but I don't see us needing that for a long time since we only need these once or twice every several months.

    Cant decide on these, oneisall, Ceenwes… they dont make it easy on amazon. Anyone try ceenwes oneisall , and this ? I keep coming back to these , then i fall on the other ones. I mean like honestly is there really any difference, ive lost my mind watching youtube reviews lol.. oneisall is just based on “so many have bought it and reviewed it “ So its not easy to pick this shit man … :/ .. ceenwess is like 22 and down again with a coupon is there any difference ? Ughhh

    • @livingthedigitallife

      Lol DCSHADY613, I know what you mean with trying to price shop and choose between products and looking at reviews, etc... it is a daunting task! I haven't researched those other brands recently but these are good as long as your dog or cat doesn't have matted hair.

    • @carylhalfwassen8555

      I bought “one is all” to groom flighty Spaniel who hates having his face and paws clipped. It works very well and is low noise and vibration. My dog has very fine hair and is not matted so this clipper works well for him. I paid about $35 - $40 on Amazon. Taking blade off is tricky like this one, probably same manufacturer just other label. I spent weeks gettin my dog accustomed and accepting of the clipper in sensitive areas of his body but I have managed all but nail clipping so far BUT I work on it a few minutes to 15 minutes until he gets anxious then I quit. Lots of praise and treats, never force him so gradually he is letting me handle his paws and muzzle. Two months ago I had vet anesthetize him so his face, paws and nails could be clipped! $140! So I am already ahead. Lots of time expended though by me.
