  • Over the course of the past six months I've trained in Kovaak's with the same intensity as One-Punch Man approaches his workouts. In this video I take you on a journey through my trials and tribulations as well as offer advice I've discovered along the way. Hope you enjoy!

    Seen a lot of videos on aim training and none have explained "expansion" and "compression" periods of aim training. Almost everyone I've tried to get into aim training has quit during a compression period. Anyway really great and informative video I enjoyed it very much.

      Glad you enjoyed! Were it not for that second wind of determination following the new year, I would have fallen just as easily into that category. Doubly compounded when they think the problem is their sensitivity and start fiddling with that on top of everything else!

    8:21 I disagree with having to warm up using the training sessions on kovaaks. You can warm up and do it on there but sometimes it’s too hard and you don’t want to be doing 10 minutes of warming up each time you get on. At that point your training your aim, meaning you’re already warmed up. You can make yourself tired out from the 10 minutes of warming up making you play bad in games. The whole point of a warm up is to get you up to speed with how you usually play, not to tire yourself out. If you want to warm up go to some death match/ffa, unranked, or practice game to warm up so you don’t tire yourself out. Just do that till you feel like your ready or your up to speed with your usual skill. In my opinion, you should warm up using the game not the training sessions on kovaaks, because if you do that then you’ll be warming up all the parts of your aim. Since each training session on kovaaks is meant for training and when using any of them, it only focuses on one aspect of your aim, not all the important aspects that you need to play the game your warming up for, warming up in game will warm up all the important aspects of your aim.

      My guy 10 minutes go by so fast if you get tired or bored of aim training or warming up in 10 minutes I dont think you acually wanna improve xD

    • @V1c._.
      @V1c._. 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      AKN Reece it can go by fast but when you have the urge to just want to play already and not having to warm up, warming up in game will help with that. And I do want to improve, I have 250+ hours worth of aim training, still doing it. My goal is to get to a 1000 hours. (Mb for the long msgs)

      @@V1c._. no you good I'm just saying no person who is acually good at aiming thinks that 10 mins to warm up is boring or takes forever even shroud used to do it as well as tfue slot of pros also warm up so I dont think 10 mins is bad however I do know every person is different so if you rather play the game do you but if I hop straight on and not fo 5 to 10 mins of aim training ie waking up I'm going to be buns

    • @V1c._.
      @V1c._. 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      AKN Reece yea, every person is different. I’m just basing this off of my experiences and what I believe that can work for majority of people. I mean, 5-10 minutes of warming up in aim training does work of course

      You speaking facts
      Warm ups shouldn't be more than 10 mins
      Anything past is aim training.
      I personally hop on kovaaks and aim train for 20mins then hit up the game.
      If I cba I warm up for 5 mins

This is also my kd now and I have reached a point on kovaaks where it takes a fairbit of time to break an average. I've been using voltaic benchmarks and have plat scores on target switching and smoothness. I would say if you lower your sens it would help make your aim more smooth and break some plateaus if you have any

    I did not expect to see a picture describing the process of how a stimulus is detected by the receptors and passed onto the cns via the sensory neurones. The cns processes the information and via the motor neurones it passed it onto the effector, which carries out the action of me liking this video.

    Currently I have a playlist in Kovaak's that is over an hour long, I think I will play it a small portion at a time, I currently have 13 different aim training scenarios.
    These scenarios are:
    1. Close Fast Strafes Invincible (10 mins)
    2. Cata IC Fast Strafes (5 mins)
    3. Cata IC Long Strafes (5 mins)
    4. Thin Gauntlet V2 (5~8 mins)
    5. patTargetSwitch V2 (5 mins)
    6. patTargetSwitch No Reload (5 mins)
    7. voxTargetSwitch (5 mins)
    8. kinTargetSwitch (5 mins)
    9. voxTargetSwitch Click (5 mins)
    10. 1wall5targets_pasu reload (5 mins)
    11. 1w4ts reload (5 mins)
    12. Reflex Flick - Easy (5 mins)
    13. Double Pop Up & Endurance (5 mins)
    I have it divided up into the four training styles which are:
    Tracking: Close Fast Strafes Invincible, Cata IC Fast Strafes, Cata IC Long Strafes, Thin Gauntlet V2
    Target Switching: patTargetSwitch V2, patTargetSwitch No Reload, voxTargetSwitch, kinTargetSwitch
    Click Timing: voxTargetSwitch Click (more of a click timing scenario), 1wall5targets_pasu reload, 1w4ts reload
    Flicking: Reflex Flick - Easy, Double Pop Up & Endurance
    I plan to Incrementally throughout my day play Kovaak's before and after gaming sessions of training sessions around 20-25 mins long each. Basically, these will be Warm Ups and Cool Downs before and after gaming sessions to keep my muscle memory fresh.
    Over time as I feel I am comfortable with the scenarios that have harder versions I will replace previous versions witht the next hardest version and so on.
    If anyone has any suggestions as to what I should do to shorten my training playlist and or remove unnecessary scenarios please leave me a reply.
    Sorry for such a long comment. LOL

      @bunkwavi 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@xxsavaxx2671 It does depend heavily on the person, me personally, I got a lot more out of it by spending more time, I started spending 2 more hours and tend to be very consistent, unlike when I would spend 30 minutes, 30 minutes is more as if you were just warming up, not practicing, but since aiming requires muscle memory, you spending more time, makes it feel much more consistent, just like when you practice kicking or throwing a ball.
