    "I'm wearing dark glasses today because I'm seeing the future and it's looking very bright." What a quote.

      Especially with the sentence before...amazing.
      I'm deep in a depression right now, nothing has helped so far - but somehow I was able to cry honestly for the first time in years...because of a few, more or less "random", seconds on TH-cam of that great man speaking a few spot-on words...the world is crazy.
      I'm relieved and have to put on dark glasses...bless the uploader and the great editing of these clips.

    Ok. I’ll admit it that I’m JUST getting to see this man’s work. I’m 31. While I have heard of him throughout life, I was never interested in watching his work so much but I did know at some point I was. I don’t like to just watch things because they’re popular or because I’m recommended it. I just randomly get the urge to or feel like it’s the right time for me and boy, this past couple of weeks has been non stop TP and his movies and interviews and it really almost made me want to tear up seeing him young and then older in this video. I know everyone gets older but I just want this guy to keep speaking and spreading his truth. The one thing I admire about him above all else is how he doesn’t compromise his vision for his projects. Has he in the past? Yea. He learned from his mistakes just like everyone does. But in this one example, he won’t ever do it again. I don’t know him so maybe he does in other things, but in the movie business world, he doesn’t. I love that so much. I wish I could meet this guy once just to say hi. I doubt I will. But it would be cool.

      I had to read this in L's voice. Ps David Lynch is such an amazing creature. If art was a human, it would be him 🖤

  • @johnwaynesasser
    @johnwaynesasser 2 ปีที่แล้ว +12

    I like these sorts of videos, but the fiddle music was (a) distracting, (b) out of place, and (c) way too loud. It was sometimes difficult to hear the dialogue over it. Suggest toning it down. Mind you, I love THE STRAIGHT STORY, but the soundtrack is ill-fitting here.
