Everyone Should Have THIS Fly Pattern!

- This is a variation of the zebra midge, a simple pattern that’s easy to tie and will work wherever you are fishing! Midges are one of the most plentiful food sources in a water body, available all year round. While they are small, fish will feed on these in large quantities, particularly when other bug sources are not as active. No matter where you go, these are worth taking with you. This particular one is one I’ve been using as an attractor pattern to help draw attention to these tiny flies. I like this one for brook trout, but the possibilities are endless. Black is another color I like to use to add just a bit of flash to an otherwise natural-looking bug. Traditional or flashy, this is one pattern that is in every nymph box I own, no matter the river it was intended for.
And if you want some for your fly box, you can submit an order here, or if you are in a rush, pick some ready-to-go ones up from my website. Thanks for the support! www.mainely-outdoors.com

What exact bottle of uv resin you use that has that brush built in cause I find that tube of resin that squeezes like crazy glue a pain
I agree. I have the same problem. Old Chief, Texas
@@CharlesDougherty-k8v old chief, texas?
UV Craft comes with a brush as well as many others.
Pretty sure a trout is seeming a Salmon Egg rather than a midge and other patterns like this resemble fry rather than bugs, imo. Still effective though!
Totally false, better read up on the Chironmidae.
@@dpmulvan Tell me more about their bright red head?
You should have 100 midges at least in various patterns/sizes. Only then shall you be allowed to spend $500 on a reel or $1000 on a pole. Rock On
Where do you buy the hooks and equipment to make them? Please 😅
I local fly shop or online one. I added some links to what was used in the pinned comment
Thank 😊
