Sorry for the two spelling errors, I accidentally uploaded the out dated video. The other version had the spelling errors fixed. Forgive me father for I have sinned... Here is the file that was supposed to be uploaded, with spelling errors corrected and some other minor edits: th-cam.com/video/oZjuAaSffpE/w-d-xo.html Edit: damn someone used dislike bots on a informational video 4 fricken months after I posted it lmao, pathetic
@@ramrodbldm9876bro got cooked, people like you are so annoying. Didn’t know a damn thing talking all that, then he responded and you had nothing to say 🤣🤣
It might be just because it's a well-kept secret, but vit gouge flat poison wheel is pretty nasty and competes well with these builds. The only one to give it trouble is Reiter-shield because of high end. That said, I only fought it once and was using pulsing flats instead of slow poison by mistake, so it is probably more effective against it than I anticipate
Oh yea, I kinda forgot about that build. Yea it can for sure, there’s some other builds that can compete too but I made this more as a objective “best” list. Otherwise it would have been a top like 6 or 8 haha
Awesome video bro, unfortunately TH-cam has hidden videos from most of my subscriptions, can’t believe I just found this but it gave me ideas I will need to try out ;) never imagined I would have a 3 27.2 parasite
Aye thanks man! Hope you been well! Ya TH-cam does that all the time to me lmao, it is so annoying. Glad I could be of service! 😊 You might also wanna check out my newest tech video, there’s some glitches you might enjoy messing around with 😉
To your comment at the end. I’ve just started playing this game in November. I’m finally getting a grasp on it. These videos are life saving. I’m sick of getting invaded and losing.
47/8/25/50/25/15 noble scion. Wide weapon variety, easy to farm for (as all it needs is 27% temp gems), and is a strong build to begin with! Hopefully this is helpful to you.
cruel fate or waste of skin is the best quality, due to BR. Violent Past does not gain anything. You lose one point in endurance, and gain one point in tinge, which gives you nothing. I personally like 50 vit 38 skill version, but 48 vit 40 skill is just as viable. It is up to personal preference really. It depends if you want that little extra damage for the cost of a little bit of vit or not.
Very interesting how stamina becomes so utterly useless for pvp while actually important for effective maintained dps for proper FRC massacre...I rarely go past 22 endurance for my pve builds but having less than 120 stamina dooms you to restrict your actions too much IMO In pve Typically the vitality gauge is the most useless you could imagine in FRC context. Same goes for the shields but it makes so much sense it works in pvp (like everything annoying in souls games really) Thx for the expertise this was instructive
A few questions: I've been theory crafting using your builds, and I've come up with a hybrid str-vitgouge/quality: 50 str, 25 skl, 63 vit. The gains in ar for skill from 25-38/40 (30-40ar) are quite a bit less than the ar from 12 to 25, which is fairly substantial for most weapons (roughly 60ar), while the additonal investment in 150HP plugs the hole in the build being average vit. It closes the gap between str-vit and quality, as quality sacrifices 275HP for around 90ar and greater weapon flexibility, where as this sacrifices a much more comfortable 130HP, gains 60ar and retains the flexibility of quality. So in summary: It has 150HP more than quality correcting its main flaw, but 130 less than vit-str. It has roughly 60ar more than vit-str, but 30-40 less than quality which arguably isn't really needed anyway because of the extra HP. Extra ar affords it all the flexibility of quality, but without such a significant HP imbalance. Also, how do you get triangle or waning tempering abyssals? Is it purely relying on OOS drops from bloodletting beast? If so, are there any edited glyphs to farm them easier? If not, wow how long did it take you to get those :( What would be an optimal low level invasion build? preferably without the wheel it feels too cheesy. Also please make more videos like this even for off-meta and maybe weapons too, its a fantastic video.
For vit gouge I rarely go below 70 vit, however I know people that do run 63-68 vit (depending on the build type), it’s definitely a viable build to run. Not my preference, but I know people who use it and have good results As far as the OOS temp abyssal gem I have, they is no edit dungeon that drops triangles. The ones I have were just OOS drops For low lvl I generally just pump vit, (and meet the reqs for whatever weapons you want) as whatever gems you will use will carry your “build” , so by going more vit you’ll have a much better chance in those 3v1s you may come across I do plan on making more informational videos, my next projects are: a new montage, a right/left hand weapons/tool tier list, “how to burial blade” video, and I may do some more Top 5 build kinda videos. We will see 😊
Maybe a weird question, but how you do guys manage your saves on console? On PC I can just bypass the 10 character limit by swapping save files, but on console? I assume people heavily invested in PvP would have more than 10 chars as well, right?
I'm having a hard time deciding why I would use vitgauge strength over vitgauge arcane. Does strength really get that much more weapons wise to make it better than Kos Parasite and all the hunter tools? The tools have some great pressure. After a beast roar you can use executioners gloves and really set people up in bad Oki situations, covering all their options.
Vit/str is better generally. Higher dps, better viscerals, more weapons, and such. Vit/arc is pretty decent, but damage is lower and tools are very situational and honestly pretty easy to avoid in pvp (especially vs strong players). Both are good in pvp, and viable to use.
Hi I am not up tp date with the pvp community but I thought the skill/tinge build was the strongest in the game because of the hight visceral und gun spamming as well as dmg potential. Another question: what is the opinion about the high arcane build (70arc/50vit) build in the community or the 99 arc build are they to weak to compete or simply outdated? Last question: I never tryed a arc/tinge build was the conses about those? are they competitive( top7) or more or less just a elaborate meme?? Thanks in advance
Hello there! Yea a lot has changed since the days of skill/tinge and the classic 50/50 quality builds. 1. Skill/tinge can be good but it is not better than these builds listed. It does not have the damage output/survivability of the respective builds in this list. While the eve gun damage is nice, it’s not hard to avoid. Skill/tinge was a overrated build, not a bad build, but it was deemed way better than it really is. It’s great for bow blade, reiter, rakuyo, and eve. But all of its other weapons are quite lacking in comparison. Sure you get a kage as well (but that’s another weapon that’s way overblown on how good it is) 2. If you are going pure arc it’s better to just vit gouge and have 50 arc. 85 vit 50 arc is better because tools are pretty unreliable, and that extra survivability will be a much better use of points. Regarding 70arc 50 vit build, that can work just fine, I know plenty of people who run that. Tho 99 arc is kinda a meme in pvp, because of its lack of survivability. 3. Arc/tinge can be quite good, some believe it is better than skill/tinge because it gets better saif, and saws. I’m not necessarily of that opinion, however arc/tinge is pretty solid and is likely like 6th or 7th best build

Hi Scorched! I’m not sure if you are still around but I’d like to ask for some advice. I wanna make a skill build and I know 25/50/25 is the best overall but I’m planning to main Rakuyo so I’m not sure if I should level up endurance. Something like this might be fine 50/20/25/50/10/15? What do you think?
Hey there! Yea I would say that’s more than fine, I know some people who run builds like that. Rakuyo is one of the few weapons I’d say likes more end. Still useable with base end of course, but there are arguments to be made for lvling end for that weapon. Hope this helps!
They just aren’t a end all be all. Chikage and letter while having great damage are very limited. Kage gets out performed by higher tier weapons like saws ,saif, and reiter. Especially if a good player are using those weapons. Tinge is viable , but it isn’t on the same level as these builds
I’ve been remaking some old builds and had a few questions: On Vitgouge/arc, is there an argument for getting to 20 STR for the wheel? Are there any decent Skill/Arc spreads? Or generally not that worth it to go to 25-40ish? Are there any notable weapons you would go above base END for aside from Parasite?
You definitely can do 20 str for wheel, taking some points out of vit. I know some people do that. Skill/arc you can do 48/12/10/50/5/45 cruel fate. I can’t think of any other weapons that benefit as much as parasite, but hms and rakuyo do quite well with a bit more stam.
Very nice video scorcho, very informative. I like how my favorite build the skill quality made the cut for good builds. Kinda wish I optimized it a bit better like you showed here but it's still a solid build. :)
I got a question. If I want to play around with all the skill leaning weapons but mostly rifle spear and burial blade. Would I want to go with strength quality or skill quality build?
Skill/quality if you want reiter, bow blade, rakuyo, and bom. However burial blade and rifle spear do better on higher AR wise on str/quality. They are just as viable on skill/quality tho, so you may as well go skill/qual
For your favorite strength quality build, how would you recommend the point distribution/ allocation in total given I went with the miquetoast? For reference I am something along the lines 46/11/45/31/9/8 I am working towards 120lvl so appreciate the input if possible.
If I plan to run reiterpallash and rifle spear mainly, with a off hand repeating pistol (I think it would be cool to be able to choose to fire one shot or two at any time) how what stat allocation and starting class should I go for level 120? Skill quality obviously but how much should I put into bt or arc? How much str is ideal? I don't intend to use the repeating pistol as my main damaging source, just a sidearm. I could see going only base bt needed for it but I'm not sure if its worth going higher even if i'm running rifle spear and such
The one shown in the video would be good. Noble scion 47/8/25/50/25/15 , you could do base tinge too ofc, but I think the one shown in the video would be fine.
Depends on what you want. If you only care about the sword and not the beams you’ll go 50 str 25(+)15 arc, if you want sword and beam you’ll go 50 str 25 skill 25 arc.
Well. I have a level 120 build made just for that. 45 vitality, 20 endurance, 50 strength, 25 skill and arcane. With the bets gems setup (2 amygdala nourishing and 1 Rom nourishing) you can get 940 ar. If you were more of a madlad, and farmed 23.6% nourishing blood gems, you could get an extra 40 ar. So 980. Which is a lot. You can also use some skill weapons, like the church pick, and the beasthunter Saif, better than a 25 strength and 50 skill build can, with the right gems.
Sadly I beat Bloodborne GOTY just once and had to sell my ps4 but Im always impressed of ur deep passion for this game. I'll pray to Yorshka on my pc tho!
Various chalice glyphs. Hard to remember them tbh. There all saved in the pvp discord tho. Now days unless there is a pvp twitch stream your best bet is frontier or mergos. Level 120 is meta.
You’ll want 15% and 10% HP runes equipped and either lake, Great Lake, or anti-clock on every build, there’s rare cases where some people do double defense rune. Tho imo there’s not much reason to do so.
@@Scorched-Knight atm im running anti clock lvl 3 and clock lvl 3 with lvl 3 formless oeden, and my build is mid level skill tinge level 75. I was thinking of just taking out the formless oeden rune but i like having it just so i dont have to go to the hunters dream to refill my bullets as much. I use reiterpellache and chikage
@@rx-0727 at lower lvl it matters a bit less. Also yea, once you stock up on max vials and Bullets that’s not a real concern. To restock you could just kill your character with the HP drain. Blood tap and shoot till you can’t go any further and then let the kage HP drain do the rest. It’s faster than going through the two loading screens to the dream
@@Scorched-Knight oh yeah that makes a lot of sense lmao. Awesome, thank you for the advice! Also, how did you get so good at this game? Do you fight vs certain people?
No problem! Anytime! I’ve been playing for 4 years, and yea fighting with good players can really help... really over the years I’ve just picked things up and tried to find new ways to try and improve anything that was lacking
Awesome video! Currently im doing a vitgouge arcane and following this guide! One question though, what varient of the saw spear do you recommend for fire/bolt conversion? Thankyou!
Hey there! Thank you kindly, I am glad many of you find it useful! 😊 Bolt is better overall generally since most armors are weaker to bolt, it is good to get both eventually tho, for those occasions where fire is more optimal. Feel free to ask anytime! No problem! 🖤
@@Scorched-Knight what gems would you recommend for the spear? Also what varient of the kos parasite would you reccomend? Sorry i dont want to go through the entire dlc again. And if so what gems would you recommend? Thankyou😁
Oh my I’m sorry I completely misread your comment. You were asking about what gem fortifications! So you’ll prob want to do is normal if you plan on getting the abhorrent beast bolt abyssal (radial), cold abyssal radial and a wanning. If you don’t plan on farming abhorrent beast you can go uncanny and get 2 cold abyssals (radials), and one 27% bolt (triangle) For parasite you can use either uncanny which is 2 radials, and 1 triangle using all 27% arc gems, or go regular version for the mad man gem set up! Hope this helps
@@Scorched-Knight Thankyou! This helps a lot! Ive screenshotted this so now i can follow it step by step! Once again thanks for the content and help. May the good blood guide your way!
Amazing video! I knew about vtigouge builds but I don't think I've ever seen one being shown properly in a video. And you know what, it looks pretty damn good. I' m not that build nerd as I used to be but my fav build in all Soulsborne is quality (40-40, 45-45, 50-50) 50-38 works too, there's something simple and strong about that build for me.
Hi I'm new at builds I have some questions: 1.-The origin/class matters? why choose for example cruel fate instead of military veteran for a strength quality build? 2.-Which build is better for beginners? 3.-The Runes you use in the builds are easy or hard to get? 4.-Why other guides recommend military veteran? is not used for meta/the best builds right? 5.-50 Strength & 50 Skill is irrelevant now?
Hello there! I’m glad to answer any questions you have! 1. Yes class/origin matter. Certain classes give you better optimization over another class, depending on what you want to create. Cruel fate would be chosen over military vet if you want to have beast roar, other utility tools, wheel, and hms. This is because you get more “bang for your buck” so to speak. Example: Cruel fate quality BR: 50/12/50/38/5/15 Military vet quality with BR: 50/10/50/38/7/15 You lose out on 12 end for 7 tinge which gains you nothing, and you lose 2 endurance. While a difference like this may not be huge it can have much larger impacts on other builds. 2. Best build for beginners is definitely the skill/quality. Easy to farm for, wide range of weapons. Pretty on par with str/quality. 3. Tier 2 HP rune can be acquired in the night mare frontier. The tier 3 Hp rune and tier 3 lake/Great Lake will have to be acquired in the chalices. There are many false depth chalices that make them easier to obtain. 4. Most other guides are out of date which is why they recommend military vet. However this all depends on what build you want to make. Military vet is great for skill/tinge, str/tinge, 40 end reiter shield, and the classic 50/50 quality 5. 50/50 is out of date, it’s been replaced by 50/38 and 50/40, along with skill qualities, and vit gouges. This is mostly due to beast roar being on most builds you encounter these days. 50/50 is still useable but coming across a 50/38 with BR can be kinda tough for the 50/50 since they have no BR.
@@Scorched-Knight thanks a lot for the answer, any other resources for learning builds, did you learn by yourself (trial & error), forums, wikis ? thanks again.

Just found this channel looking for how the bloodborne pvp is now a days and I end up finding a god of a player. Subscribed, can’t wait to see you on bloodborne ps5
Beast claws are not very good in pvp, however if you are still inclined to use them. A quality build is the way to go. You can either use the strength quality build as shown in the video: 50/x/50/38/x/15 Cruel Fate (which gives you great utility tools such as beast roar), or you can do 47/x/50/50/x/x military vet for maximum damage.
Okay this was nifty. I can see why peeps get hardcore into the bb pvp. I’ve platinumed the game, soloed chalices, and never ever fucked with beast roar, but that was really cool.
You, my good hunter, got a new sub! These are the kinds of videos I'm after. My main is the Rakuyo and I've held my grounds in pvp very well with it. Do you have any good video regarding the builds around those weapon?
Hey there! I don’t have a video regarding rakuyo, however the skill/quality in this video is quite well for it. However many rakuyo enjoyers I know prefer some endurance with it. I know many of those said people like 20-28, tho that isn’t necessary of course. Me personally I’d just run the skill quality that is in this video.
"Hey guys, here's a list of the 6 builds I have available, 2 of which were infinitely inferior to a bloodtinge build because I don't want to farm for those nasty out of shapes." - Scorched Knight
Pure bloodtinge isn’t that good tbh. These builds are definitely better than pure tinge. You could argue that skill/tinge should/could be #5, but that’s about it. Chikage gets curb stomped by a lot of weapons, and bloodletter is very limited (it’s good, but it’s not a saw. Often times the weapon is carried by heavy lat)
the best thing about bloodtinge is Evelyn, not an out-of-shape gemmed chikage. Bloodletter is fine but whirligig, a similar weapon, is better. You don't know what you're talking about if you think a pure bloodtinge build is on par (or "infinitely superior") to a build that can use a saw or reiter.
@@armoda1057 Whirligig Saw is good, and nearly everything is better than the reiterpallasch. All I have to say is enjoy getting two-shot by a chikage. If you use a vit gouge build, 3 shotted. That or getting obliterated by a gun spamming Evelyn user. 800+ AR on one of the faster weapons in the game is no joke. Also, bloodletter is better than the whirligig. It's faster, has better reach, the poking attacks are outstanding, and if you're really tempted, the one-handed form is probably the best strength weapon in the game. Basically, the point is bloodtinge, and any combination of it is pure power... except for maybe arcane bloodtinge, but even that has gotten some mileage in the PVP community.
Chikage gets curbed stomped by anyone half decent at this game lmao Tbh anytime I see an average chikage user it’s a easy bully. Letter is good, but I wouldn’t say it’s better than whirligig. Really the most dangerous thing about letter is the people that tend to use it have bad net. Kage is massively overrated. It has high damage but that’s all it has.
The ones I showed in the build charts are just examples. Some of the Temp abyssals shown are on the mules I made so it looks like I have a bunch of them on multiple builds but it’s just really one build. It’s just my mule and my main character with them. There is no way to get increased drops for OoS gems sadly
Hey there! Thank you for the question! On a vitgouge str, Strength abyssals you’ll put on just about every weapon... be it Str focused, skill focused, or a quality weapon. For weapons with low str scaling you’ll generally need to put 2 heavy abyssals on to make it “good”. As for the “would skill weapons be better on a vitgouge str over a vitgouge skill due to heavy abysslas.” No, not really. Reiter, bow blade, blade of mercy, rakuyo, church pick, and cane all are better on Vit/skill.
Which build (gems included) would get the most damage out of Ludwigs Holy Blade? Im assuming Str/Quality with +65 abyssal and a couple of 27% physicals🤔
If you would like full move set (great sword and straight sword) of the weapon yes that is correct! 😊 Tho I believe on high quality like 50/38 for instance you actually get more AR with no heavy abyssal, by just going all 27% temps
hello not sure what happened to the reupload but I was following your reitershield build and you had the stat simulator image at the end of the new vid, it had 40 end. Do you have a copy of that image lying around somewhere still?
I can post the stats here sure! I can’t link it, but I can link you a copy of the build from mugenmonkey mugenmonkey.com/bloodborne/49708 The other version is stronger cause of beast roar, but this version is pretty solid and has more blocking capabilities
Str/tinge is p fun, I normally go 50/x/50/14/40/x military vet, however the Str/quality with ting would give you more weapon choices. 47/8/50/25/25/15 noble scion. I like both but quality has more options
Everytime I replay Bloodborne I always go HMLGS. I am thinking of playing again but don't know what build/weapons to go for. I've made builds around the BLetter, Log Wheel, Chikage, Whirly, Hunter Axe, Khammer and Rakuyo. Anything you've been playing with recently that stands up well in PvP that you reckon is fun? I really have no idea what to play.
Hey there! In recent times not too much, I mostly have been using the Str/quality (that’s my main build) and vitgouge/str. Tho if you don’t mind the farming arctinge with letter X converted cleaver can be a lot of fun. Also skill/arc blade of mercy can be pretty fun as well. Used to use skill/arc a bit. The builds I like to hop on for random fun usually is the str/tinge, skill/arc, or the letterXcleaver arctinge
Hey Scorched, for the strength quality variant at 5:06, does Evelyn do enough damage at 25 tinge to make it on par with the other strength quality variants?
Hey there! In my opinion yes. The sacrifice of taking some points from str to tinge is likely more beneficial for skill/quality since you’ll likely have reiter and such. Some have the opinion that quality with 25 tinge is better than pure quality. To me all the quality builds are about even. Str quality gets better AR on most weapons, but skill/quality gets reiterplash, and other more skill oriented weapons, assuming you meet the reqs for them. Which in my mind is what you should do because those weapons are the best on skill/quality, wether it be for the reiter or skill weapons with quality weapon back ups
@John Cameron Hey there, sure, for pure tinge 73/8/10/14/50/15 noble scion (ns) for 2kat kage, 69/8/14/14/50/15 for kage and bloodletter (ns), and 73/9/14/9/50/15 waste of skin for bloodletter only. What you have looks good mostly, what is the 20 skill for? Also I recommend maybe lvl str to 28 so you also get the Gatling gun! :)
I cant seem to find any invasions at 120 anymore. I play a BL43 30/9/20/12/7/15 Gives you access to the Logarious Wheel, Tonitrus, Holy Moonlight Sword, Whirligig Saw, Burial Blade, Amygdala Arm, and many others. With 15 in arc, you also get access to the support hunters tools. It also keeps you in the lowest invasion bracket, considering the bell maidens start to spawn at level 30.
You can find 120 duels/invasions at frontier, mergos base/loft, sometimes the DLC, and twitch streams. Frontier, and twitch streams are where you will get the most 120 action. Aye nice! That’s a great lvl 43 invader!
Yes heavy abyssal letter is very much something you’d want to use one handed, as the 2 hand move set will lose out on damage. If you do strength/tinge and want to use both forms, you’ll just use all 27% temp gems
Nice job scorchie!! I still can't believe you left aside the infamous arctinge. I'm sure you had your reasons to do so including the turtle reiter is just too much for me lol.
Thanks ivan! Yea I knew this question would come up a few times my answer is this. 1. Main reason is: I think it’s like 6th place, very close to being 5th, but all the other builds have an edge of sorts over it imo. Either vit ,damage, or even endurance (like the reiter shield) can definitely be defined as an edge over the arctinge. 2. reiter shield kinda memes on it generally. 3. It’s generally a less accessible build, as the farming is atrocious for it. I was going to add it as an honorable mention, but I decided not to due to this video already taking forever to complete, and I didn’t have many clips of the classic bolt saif + Kage in action. Arctinge can definitely compete with the builds in this list, and as I said in the video theses builds aren’t the be all end all, other builds can compete with them. These are just objectively the best imo, and others as well.
@@Scorched-Knight I'm not trying to judge your work but thanks for your explanation. And yes you're totally right about all those builds are way superior than the "normal" arctinge spread. I personally think all vitgauge builds should have been included in the same category. It's just my point of view tho
Oh no no, I didn’t think you were hah, I expected some questions regarding this stuff 😊 I think arctinge can compete with them still, but I think it just has the things that I listed that keep It from being in the top 5 . The reason vit gouge skill doesn’t make it in is because I think it’s about even with reiter shield, and it’s weapon AR compared to the others is low. Tinge vit gouge just doesn’t have any good back ups really. They are all still great builds, but I just feel that these have a edge over them or are about even. I was going to do honorable mentions, but I wanted to finish up this video before des is released.
Well in the wild areas there aren’t really rules, hard to enforce anything when it’s not a organized FC. However generally healing is acceptable, as you can punish heals by parrying them (arguably the easiest parry in the game). As far as running into the mobs, that’s generally frowned upon (unless it’s a 2v1 or 3v1), tbh I rarely encounter that. Again you can’t really enforce anything in wild areas like mergos or frontier, if you want fights without that you can join twitch stream FCs as they generally have very very little of that (unless some random joins)
Hey there sure thing! If you only care about kage then I recommend 73/8/10/14/50/15 noble scion. This is a “2kat” build, you use 2 OOS tinge kages and toggle between them to get faster unzips. If you want kage + other weapons then I’d recommend arc/tinge 48/8/10/14/40/50 or skill/tinge 47/8/10/50/40/15 (both noble scion class) Skill/tinge will be the easier one to farm for. For more information about kage I recommend my friend che’s YT channel! th-cam.com/channels/vLZS9TcpKlA6JljxrWIBFA.html

Such a fun build 😊
Hello! Thank you! For arctinge: 48/8/10/40/50 Noble scion Skill/arc: 47/12/10/50/5/45 cruel fate Arc/quality: that’s what I would do All your builds you mentioned weren’t very far off from being optimal/something I would do. Yes many seem to like it! I almost gave it a honorable mention in this video, but the video is long enough as is haha
Wait the bloodletter is actually good with minimal bloodtinge? That's something I've never heard before. Sounds fun I'll make sure to try that. Also no 70+ arcane builds? Are those not as strong as advertised? I'm not that great at PvP but my 25 str 70 arc build seems quite strong. The wheel, holy moonlight and tonitrus completely reck people.
Pure strength letter hits like a truck, you can see it in action in this video. Gems are one heavy abyssal and two 27% temp gems. 50 str 16 tinge th-cam.com/video/CjxtgVNn4tw/w-d-xo.html . Regarding 70+ arc, they can be good, but that’s mostly for the tools. You can gets kills with it for sure, but I wouldn’t put it as high as these five builds.
@@Scorched-Knight I guess I think so highly of high arcane builds because I like hunter tools so much. Also great video I love hunter x hunter it's my favorite anime
Any tips on finding PvP matches? I just keep on using the sinister bell in Mergo's Loft and Nightmare Frontier but are there other PvP hotspots, should I be using the Resonant Bell with certain Oath runes? I feel like there's something I'm missing out on.
Hello there! Sinister bell is what you want to use for pvp in those areas. Are you level 120? Unfortunately for people who are getting to this game post ER activity is going to be low. Elden Rings release has kinda killed all the past games activity (understandably so). There is a discord bloodborne pvp server, tho most people are playing elden ring these days some people are still playing Bb pvp here and there and stream on twitch occasionally . Waste of skin works too, you actually get a additional point into vit. It’s just a trade off and personal preference, so your waste of skin can work for this.
You know what you did 🤓 If I found increase of random noobs with reiter/shield at Frontier from now, I know who to blame😅 Very nicely explained and every build is top edge. However I think Arctige should be there but then it will be hard to choose for Top 5 💁🏾♂️ Good work mate 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾
Aye thanks! And haha 😂 yea I suppose so, but here’s my explanation for the exclusion of arctinge 1. These are just objectively the best imo, and others as well.
scorched knight, i know i probably annoy you by me keep coming back, but could you do a pt2 perhaps? Also could you tell me what you think is the best chikage build, i also wanna use the bloodletter, im thinking about making a tinge build, yes i know the chikage is overused but i wanna see how it feels. Could you give a 120 cap. The build that i plan on making is a military vet with 60 vit, 50 tinge, with the rest on skill, but at first, the rest would have gone into endurance, but i talked to people and they said no endurance, im also thinking no endurance but its the chikage so maybe it needs it? idk Basically just tell what you think is the best tinge build Holy hell i just wrote an entire essay
I may make a second video on best hybrid builds or something, I’m not sure as of yet tho. Best kage would be noble scion 73/8/10/14/50/15, but if you really want letter I guess you could take some out of vit to go towards str. Yea I wouldn’t recommend leveling endurance at all, but especially since kage and letter are not very demanding on endurance. I’m not a big fan of pure tinge, I prefer strength ting, it has no br, but you get a decent variety of weapons, including the bloodletter and kage. Military vet 50/10/50/14/40/6. You can have a full moveset bloodletter and a OOS tinge kage. If you are not interested in that I’d do the pure tinge recommendations I mentioned above
Imo the quality str is the best more variety and also more fun. And it's also still powerful I kinda lean on str pure second but what about the visceral attacks?
Vit gouge Str just has the vit and damage high enough to make it what it is. I prefer the quality too tho. The vit gouge str gets surprisingly good viscs, a burrito vs a invader will kill most of them, and against host can get them pretty low
what do you think of a military veteran bl 80 build with 35/10/50/13/16/6 ? as a lower level strength build with access to bloodletter with heavy abyssals? how crucial would you say beast roar is here? love your content :)
Hello there! Unfortunately the issue with lvl 80 is it can connect to meta lvl 120. Which could be a very rough time for you. I suggest lvl 43-60 for low lvl invasions. You’ll still get action at 80, but be warned it may be very very rough in frontier and mergos if you come across a proper 100-120 build. At lower lvl beast roar isn’t too crucial imo, still super useful at any level of course! Just lower lvl tends to allow for more off mega stat spreads and such. Aye thanks! Glad you enjoyed! 😊
Aye thanks! Vitgouge skill can be good for sure! The reason it’s not on this list is I feel that it’s kinda even with reiter shield, and it’s objectively worse than the vitgouge str and vitgouge arc, but it’s definitely a solid build still.
Haha thanks! I made two very annoying spelling mistakes, that I had fixed but it looks like Vegas didn’t save the changes 😔 should have checked again lol
47/x/50/50/x/x military vet is the best for max damage, however going 48/x/50/40/x/15 cruel fate. Honesty the 50str 40 skill 15 arc is the better one to go with. You don’t lose much damage and you gain Beast roar which can be a very powerful tool to have
You are correct, however there is a massive catch. Host HP is a thing. Vit gouge is effective because of this factor. As a host they will have a large advantage, and as a phantom it helps midigate the difference between invader and host.
Yea, pvp never really stopped. You can still find plenty in frontier, mergos, and twitch stream FCs. I streamed BB pvp on twitch 2 times a week for years.

For a strength quality why choose cruel fate? wouldnt violent past be better? and should i go for 50 vit 38 skl or 48 vit 40 skl?
cruel fate or waste of skin is the best quality, due to BR.
Violent Past does not gain anything. You lose one point in endurance, and gain one point in tinge, which gives you nothing.
I personally like 50 vit 38 skill version, but 48 vit 40 skill is just as viable. It is up to personal preference really. It depends if you want that little extra damage for the cost of a little bit of vit or not.
idk why but i always come back to this video, its just something about it

Very interesting how stamina becomes so utterly useless for pvp while actually important for effective maintained dps for proper FRC massacre...I rarely go past 22 endurance for my pve builds but having less than 120 stamina dooms you to restrict your actions too much IMO In pve
Typically the vitality gauge is the most useless you could imagine in FRC context.
Same goes for the shields but it makes so much sense it works in pvp (like everything annoying in souls games really)
Thx for the expertise this was instructive
I agree reiter shield sucks in pve quite a bit haha!
Thanks for watching!
A few questions:
I've been theory crafting using your builds, and I've come up with a hybrid str-vitgouge/quality: 50 str, 25 skl, 63 vit.
So in summary:
It has 150HP more than quality correcting its main flaw, but 130 less than vit-str.
If not, wow how long did it take you to get those :(
What would be an optimal low level invasion build? preferably without the wheel it feels too cheesy.
Also please make more videos like this even for off-meta and maybe weapons too, its a fantastic video.
For vit gouge I rarely go below 70 vit, however I know people that do run 63-68 vit (depending on the build type), it’s definitely a viable build to run. Not my preference, but I know people who use it and have good results
As far as the OOS temp abyssal gem I have, they is no edit dungeon that drops triangles. The ones I have were just OOS drops
For low lvl I generally just pump vit, (and meet the reqs for whatever weapons you want) as whatever gems you will use will carry your “build” , so by going more vit you’ll have a much better chance in those 3v1s you may come across
I do plan on making more informational videos, my next projects are: a new montage, a right/left hand weapons/tool tier list, “how to burial blade” video, and I may do some more Top 5 build kinda videos. We will see 😊
Maybe a weird question, but how you do guys manage your saves on console? On PC I can just bypass the 10 character limit by swapping save files, but on console? I assume people heavily invested in PvP would have more than 10 chars as well, right?
Often times people will make a alt account. Which is what I did. Just requires a new email, and ps+ on your main account.
hey bro could u respond asap i wanna know what pvp area you are fighting in at 5:50 thanks. It looks like one of the defiled chalices
It was a pre-area of a loran glyph, I am not sure if the glyph has expired or not.
Nice video. Did u recomend investing 18 arcane to use augur of ebrietas or parryng with gun is just better?
Gun parry is way better
@@Scorched-Knight thanks :)
NP :)
Sure you get a kage as well (but that’s another weapon that’s way overblown on how good it is)

Hi just curious are bloodtinge builds not good anymore? Thanks
They just aren’t a end all be all. Chikage and letter while having great damage are very limited. Kage gets out performed by higher tier weapons like saws ,saif, and reiter. Especially if a good player are using those weapons.
Tinge is viable , but it isn’t on the same level as these builds
I’ve been remaking some old builds and had a few questions:
On Vitgouge/arc, is there an argument for getting to 20 STR for the wheel?
Thanks qt uwu
I got a question. If I want to play around with all the skill leaning weapons but mostly rifle spear and burial blade. Would I want to go with strength quality or skill quality build?
Skill/quality if you want reiter, bow blade, rakuyo, and bom.
However burial blade and rifle spear do better on higher AR wise on str/quality.
They are just as viable on skill/quality tho, so you may as well go skill/qual
@@Scorched-Knight what about church pick?
Church pick tends to like skill more

Hello what build do you think works best with the holy moonlight sword? 16 str and 50 arc? or 50 str and 15 arc and use abyssal gems?
Depends on what you want. If you only care about the sword and not the beams you’ll go 50 str 25(+)15 arc, if you want sword and beam you’ll go 50 str 25 skill 25 arc.
40 40 and some decent 20% blood gems. Easy 600-700 AR

Would beast hunter saif benefit from skill quality? The weapon is one of my favorites but I’m lacking in damage in my 49/9/50/40/7/15
It’s better on str/quality. Works just fine on skill quality too, you probably are missing a heavy abyssal 65 +15 phys gem for your saif
Do you think its more beneficial to run 15% and 10% hp over 15% hp and 5% all dmg reduction? Does it depend on what build your using?
You’ll want 15% and 10% HP runes equipped and either lake, Great Lake, or anti-clock on every build, there’s rare cases where some people do double defense rune. Tho imo there’s not much reason to do so.
@@Scorched-Knight atm im running anti clock lvl 3 and clock lvl 3 with lvl 3 formless oeden, and my build is mid level skill tinge level 75. Also yea, once you stock up on max vials and Bullets that’s not a real concern. To restock you could just kill your character with the HP drain. Oh my I’m sorry I completely misread your comment. You were asking about what gem fortifications! So you’ll prob want to do is normal if you plan on getting the abhorrent beast bolt abyssal (radial), cold abyssal radial and a wanning. If you don’t plan on farming abhorrent beast you can go uncanny and get 2 cold abyssals (radials), and one 27% bolt (triangle)

Informative and very helpful thanks
Hi I'm new at builds I have some questions:
1.-The origin/class matters? why choose for example cruel fate instead of military veteran for a strength quality build?
Example: Cruel fate quality BR: 50/12/50/38/5/15
Military vet quality with BR: 50/10/50/38/7/15
You lose out on 12 end for 7 tinge which gains you nothing, and you lose 2 endurance.
Military vet is great for skill/tinge, str/tinge, 40 end reiter shield, and the classic 50/50 quality
5. 50/50 is out of date, it’s been replaced by 50/38 and 50/40, along with skill qualities, and vit gouges. This is mostly due to beast roar being on most builds you encounter these days.
50/50 is still useable but coming across a 50/38 with BR can be kinda tough for the 50/50 since they have no BR.

Hello idk if you still respond but what do you think an only beast claws build looks like
Beast claws are not very good in pvp, however if you are still inclined to use them. A quality build is the way to go.
You can either use the strength quality build as shown in the video:
50/x/50/38/x/15 Cruel Fate (which gives you great utility tools such as beast roar), or you can do 47/x/50/50/x/x military vet for maximum damage.
@@Scorched-Knight I know it’s not even kind of bad but quite horrible,I still like it anyways tho.Thank you for responding
Okay this was nifty. I can see why peeps get hardcore into the bb pvp. I’ve platinumed the game, soloed chalices, and never ever fucked with beast roar, but that was really cool.

"Hey guys, here's a list of the 6 builds I have available, 2 of which were infinitely inferior to a bloodtinge build because I don't want to farm for those nasty out of shapes."
- Scorched Knight
Chikage gets curbed stomped by anyone half decent at this game lmao
Tbh anytime I see an average chikage user it’s a easy bully.
Letter is good, but I wouldn’t say it’s better than whirligig.
Really the most dangerous thing about letter is the people that tend to use it have bad net. Kage is massively overrated. It has high damage but that’s all it has.
@@Scorched-Knight I don't want to be that guy but I've seen you lose to chikage players. Are they just really good or is it something else?
Very informative video ! I look forward to fight a PVP with you ! 😎🙏
Fite me brother sauce boss
How did he get so many cursed tempering abyssal triangle gems? They are OOS. If anyone knows of a glyph please let me know.
The ones I showed in the build charts are just examples. Some of the Temp abyssals shown are on the mules I made so it looks like I have a bunch of them on multiple builds but it’s just really one build. It’s just my mule and my main character with them.
There is no way to get increased drops for OoS gems sadly
Is vitgouge strength with strength abyssals for skill weapons better than running a pure skill vitgouge build?
@@Scorched-Knight preciate the info thanks
Which build (gems included) would get the most damage out of Ludwigs Holy Blade? Im assuming Str/Quality with +65 abyssal and a couple of 27% physicals🤔
If you would like full move set (great sword and straight sword) of the weapon yes that is correct! 😊
Tho I believe on high quality like 50/38 for instance you actually get more AR with no heavy abyssal, by just going all 27% temps
@@Scorched-Knight good to know dude, thanks very much
hello not sure what happened to the reupload but I was following your reitershield build and you had the stat simulator image at the end of the new vid, it had 40 end. Do you have a copy of that image lying around somewhere still?
I can post the stats here sure! I can’t link it, but I can link you a copy of the build from mugenmonkey mugenmonkey.com/bloodborne/49708
The other version is stronger cause of beast roar, but this version is pretty solid and has more blocking capabilities
For a str tinge what would you reccomend? The str quality tinge or just a str tinge?
Str/tinge is p fun, I normally go
50/x/50/14/40/x military vet, however the Str/quality with ting would give you more weapon choices. 47/8/50/25/25/15 noble scion. I like both but quality has more options
@@Scorched-Knight Ty for response! I'll look into them don't have character space for both though ; ;
@@Scorched-Knight thanks for the response. I think Im just gonna jump in and see how I feel as I go.
This is exactly what I needed, thanks so much
Aye I’m glad to hear it! If you have an further questions feel free to ask me on discord!
What would a 120 bloodtinge build look like for you? Any compelling reasons for not including one in the top builds? I was thinking 50/8/27/20/50/15
awesome build thanks

Str for 1 handed bletter? Str scale gems dont bust dmg in 2 hand mode?
Oh no no, I didn’t think you were hah, I expected some questions regarding this stuff 😊
I think arctinge can compete with them still, but I think it just has the things that I listed that keep It from being in the top 5 .
Just when I was thinking of getting back into BB on Ps5, I find this absolute gem. Thanks bro, awesome vid 👌
Aye thanks! 😊
thanks for this one, Scorched. Stainers rise up!
So whats the pvp rules here, is healing allowed? Because i always come across people healing and adversaries ganking you with enemies in the area
@@Scorched-Knight thankd
Nice vid man! Props
Any build suggestions for specializing into the Chikage?
Hey there sure thing!
If you only care about kage then I recommend 73/8/10/14/50/15 noble scion. This is a “2kat” build, you use 2 OOS tinge kages and toggle between them to get faster unzips.
If you want kage + other weapons then I’d recommend arc/tinge 48/8/10/14/40/50 or skill/tinge 47/8/10/50/40/15 (both noble scion class)
Skill/tinge will be the easier one to farm for.
For more information about kage I recommend my friend che’s YT channel!

Nice video ! Very informative and straight to the point! Skill quality is my favorite build, glad to see it on this video 👍🏻
May i ask your thoughts on :
Arctinge:
46/8/10/14/45/47
Skill/arc:
47/9/10/50/7/47
Arc quality:
47/18/25/25/5/50
Those are my favorite builds to use.. especially arctinge! Such a fun build 😊
Hello! Thank you! For arctinge: 48/8/10/40/50 Noble scion
Skill/arc: 47/12/10/50/5/45 cruel fate
Arc/quality: that’s what I would do
All your builds you mentioned weren’t very far off from being optimal/something I would do.
Yes many seem to like it! I almost gave it a honorable mention in this video, but the video is long enough as is haha
I did NOT know the Shields had a use case in meta. This was enlightening... or should I say... insightful.
Haha yea, In PVE they are pretty trash, they work a lot better in PvP. Aye thanks friend!
Finally, some quality content.

Here is a link if you are interested discord.gg/qJDjxXZ
Yeah, I'm not surprised by that. I'll be sure to check out the server tho, thanks!

Either vit ,damage, or even endurance (like the reiter shield) can definitely be defined as an edge over the arctinge.

scorched knight, i know i probably annoy you by me keep coming back, but could you do a pt2 perhaps? Also could you tell me what you think is the best chikage build, i also wanna use the bloodletter, im thinking about making a tinge build, yes i know the chikage is overused but i wanna see how it feels. Could you give a 120 cap.
The build that i plan on making is a military vet with 60 vit, 50 tinge, with the rest on skill, but at first, the rest would have gone into endurance, but i talked to people and they said no endurance, im also thinking no endurance but its the chikage so maybe it needs it? idk
Basically just tell what you think is the best tinge build
Holy hell i just wrote an entire essay

Nice channel buddy :)

Not really, but there are some who keep playing. There is a pvp discord if you are interested discord.gg/qJDjxXZ

Great vid! I gotta ask, what's your opinion on Vitgouge Skill?
Aye thanks! Vitgouge skill can be good for sure! The reason it’s not on this list is I feel that it’s kinda even with reiter shield, and it’s objectively worse than the vitgouge str and vitgouge arc, but it’s definitely a solid build still.

Best build for ludwigs?
47/x/50/50/x/x military vet is the best for max damage, however going 48/x/50/40/x/15 cruel fate. Honesty the 50str 40 skill 15 arc is the better one to go with. You don’t lose much damage and you gain Beast roar which can be a very powerful tool to have
Very wholesome and informative video! Are we going to see PvP ruined (again) by reiter shields... :D
Scorcht knight hates arctinge confirmed 😡😭
he probably gets owned by arctinge 😆
When you realize Vit is the actual meta.
Your awesome scorched very helpful!
why 75 vit? u get mostly nothing above 50 if i am correct?
You are correct, however there is a massive catch.
Host HP is a thing. Vit gouge is effective because of this factor. As a host they will have a large advantage, and as a phantom it helps midigate the difference between invader and host.
So, quality, quality, quality, quality, and quality?
no u qt
Is pvp still a thing in BloodBorne?
Yea, pvp never really stopped. You can still find plenty in frontier, mergos, and twitch stream FCs. I streamed BB pvp on twitch 2 times a week for years.
