    Good and effective Idiom lesson by Jen. It will take time to assimilate. Will need memorisation. But in the end, we have learned new vocabulary and words. Great exposure to idiomatic expression. Keep up the good work. Her slow and sweet tone is an asset. Slow that we can listen and comprehend. You are a good teacher, Jen. Thank you. Helmi, Malaysia. 21 December 2019.

    Thank you the lesson is very useful and interesting , but I have a little suggestion that could you please use the other Chinese font . For Example 華文仿宋 the Chinese character very nice and clear to read and also can you enlarge the words Chinese, pinyin and English subtitle so that we can see them easily. Thank you very much

    I know that this has nothing to do with your explanations, but you have an extremely beautiful face and a 楚楚动人expression,which makes you 一位赏心悦目的女孩子!and your video is quite enjoyable to watch. All this written and said, I must also add that you do not speak loud enough and a bit louder would pe perfect, as well as another choice of fonts because those you use to display the 成语s onscreen are difficult to read, but for that, I really like the way you explain everything and the examples you provide. Now, it would also be a lot better if your videos only had English subtitles, but were all entirely commented in Chinese only, with Chinese (and English subtitles for beginners), so that more advanced students could also profit upon your explanations even more, since chengyus are not for beginners. And please make more chengyus videos as they are the most difficult vocabulary to learn in Chinese! Thank you very much for your hard work and 加油,加油!

    Awesome video! But, as it is too long, I recommend you adding some tiny enhancements to it, which will help the viewers to digest the contents more easily or to locate the most relevant information for them. In order to do that, you could for example put large numbers by text into the video before start of each section (1., 2., and so on...), so it will help the viewer to locate it when quickly browsing through the video preview on the progress bar. In addition, you may add a list of contents in the description, and then by adding the starting time of each part of content, TH-cam will automatically add markers for all those sections on the progress bar. This will just emphasize even more visually where those specific parts really are. I hope these tips will help you! I have enjoyed the video very much and I am looking forward to0 your next one!

      I don't think update your Chinese to the next level sounds correct

    • @QuizmasterLaw
      @QuizmasterLaw 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@darian5428 it's not grammatically incorrect though the style is a bit odd. thing is, the teacher's pronunciation is such that you can easily hear what she said as upgrade instead of update; this is because D and T are both similar sounds. listen to just what she said to hear it. i found that remarkable (her accent btw is excellent)
      upgrade is definitely better than update but it's nonetheless an intelligible and grammatical sentence.
      stylistically upgrade is better than update because a gradient is no mixed metaphor to "level" whereas update and level imply a mixture of time and space. but in this world time and space are often connected so it's only stylistically less correct, not incorrect.
