  • Nice lil 20kg PB today on partials 😮‍💨 155-170kg … 175 loading … The plateau is creeping up on me, but i’m shocked that my body has adapted in just a few weeks and added almost 100kg to that bar 🤯 Crazy what a bit of scran and happiness does to you 🥹❤️ Enjoying the process.

    WHY PARTIALS ? I’m a taekwondo athlete not a weightlifter. My goals are to be faster and stronger in fights. We train sport specific. I spend my sporting life in that range, so building the foundation to become more explosive and powerful with kicks. Full range squats coming along too, but I never use that range so it’s not as important for me to lift heavy there. Also discovered it’s harder for me to progress full squats as quickly because I’m finding some of the lingering injuries I’ve had for years are effecting the technique, which is stalling the load progression. But I’ll get there, all part of the fun 💪🏼🤩

    It's funny how random you are talking about the weight then showing 2 finger pull ups how has your diet changed with this new weight I'm guessing lot more carbs and protein?
