Oh yeah they did. Not sure you can get more fair than you guys honestly. I've never been to a convention or anything but I can't imagine it being that fair. How can you not choose store credit lol like, give me.. all of that good stuff. Fair, fair and fair.
This is selfish but I don't want you guys to change a thing about this channel. I'm not into toys at all but cannot stop watching. It's genuine on a platform full of fakes.
This is part of my saturday routine now. I watch after I get back from an early morning flea market run. Ive learned ALOT about toy collecting and reselling. Big thanks to Ryan and the crew !
As soon as you put the strawberry shortcakes up there-I could smell them! I shared this video with my little sister-and the first thing she said was "I can still smell them!" Another great episode.
I moved to Scotland in 2006 as a child that was raised in the late 70s and 80s and had a father that was a huge diaclone/ takara fan as he loved Macross, Robotech and what would become Transformers and GoBots. Last month my mother passed away and in her will she had requested I go in the attic (not loft) and clear 70 boxes out of my fathers comics and toys and mine from childhood. My father was very particular that I kept all my inserts and boxes and kept up with my weapons and that my comics stayed bagged and backed. I watch and am enthralled at how much "collectors" will pay for things I enjoyed decades ago. I have paid to have everything shipped to Scotland aside from 11 copies of Amazing Fantasy I sent to have auctioned before leaving the states again. I find your honesty and store fascinating. If I ever part with any of the memories, I will come to you first. You have such a passion and dignity and respect for the toys and customers. We personally do not have any use for the money so I have decided to hold on to what I consider 30 years of the best toys ever to grace mine and my fathers lives. I did have a few rainbow friends and strawberry shortcake toys in my collection and never thought anyone would look twice. This fascinates me. I would be interested to know what my original 12 inch GI Joes and first run 4.5 inch figures would be valued at as they are all still boxed including all of the mail order GI Joes in the 4 and 6 packs up to Sgt Slaughter.
Great trade...those A-team and a robin hood figure rofl, they might sit a bit but now that you have 54k subs, they might not sit for long....I still remember when you only had 9k sub....Keep the videos coming, brings me back all buys I have done.
Awesome Episode.. Those A team figs were cool. I like when the sellers have done the research and can fairly process the offer.. All the deals in this episode seemed like win/wins...
Yes they are legit and genuine.I visited there store.I bought a Triple T with Sgt Slaughter.I saw some collections on the floor people had brought in.Not staged at all.Loved the store as i drove 2 hours too visit.Well worth it and will go again.Even got a photo with Ryan.Truly a must visit if you collect toys vintage or modern.
The 4 pack turtle figs. Arent really designed for play. The paint wears off fairly easy. They sold out quik at Target alot of collectors had no idea that target exclusively sold them over a weeks time. The box shows incorrectly Ralph's and mike face. But if you pop off there heads each head has a letter fir there name which prives the bix had incorrect face fir Raphael and mike. The only face resembling a grin Plus box shows mike with that head scalpture. Fact is thats not the case
Epidurmis - my new Saturday Morning routine - bowl of cereal - wait for Toy Federation Video and Podcast Video - Perfect way to start the weekend while I sort my comics from the week and relax - I feel like a kid again with my old TV Antenna that gets channel 36 whie I squint as Gatchaman / Battle of the Planets comes in sketchy.
This is a great channel I look forwards to waking up Saturday because of it. Keep freaking going great channel and I don't collect toys I collect lots but not toys
"In 1972, a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today, still wanted by the government they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them....maybe you can hire The A-Team."
Man those Shortcakes brought back some memories of the buddies twin sister having them and She-ra in the mid 80's. We pick on her about the shortcakes were to lame or She-ra's castle but She-ra was lame too. We also had the Evil Horde, so she had a valid point on playing with them.
Another fun Saturday morning! I wish I lived closer as I have all of my 80’s GI Joes that I would bring in to sell/trade. I thought about boxing them all up, shipping them to you and then flying out but way too much money :). I love GI Joe back in the day but I’d rather someone who is still into it have fun with my stuff. I’d turn around and use the money to continue my Star Wars collection.
can u do a video showing everything u got in store? I'm from the UK, so getting there is impossible. But if I see anything I like I can pick out and buy :)
Unfortunately you wouldn't be able to buy something you see in the store. As they say, _"Disneyland doesn't come to you."_ I'm just 30 minutes tops from the shop, but I haven't had a car in a while. So pretty devastating when I see something that I could totally just come in and buy, but certainly not paying the extravagant uber fees for that.
@toy fed - ever been in a situation where someone comes to the store wanting their stuff back; either because they changed their mind or their stuff was sold without their permissions or knowledge? How did you deal with that or do you guys have a protocol dealing with this situation? It just occurred to me that pawnshops require I.D.s in case the items were stolen but you guys seem really upfront and trusting with people that are shown in the videos.
I am interested in the watch Travis has on lol (21 minute mark) Can he give us a closer look at ot next time...talk a little about it. Very cool 80's style watch!
That's a classic Casio calculator watch. Very popular in the 80s. Most my gradeschool classmates and I owned one. They made a stainless steel one that I always wanted as a kid
For a fact, the dude's could put in a small strawberry shortcake couple of mushroom stools or a g I joe bench just so they don't have to squat while reviewing the sellers items. I would use a old briefcase or transformers Optimus head. Or bat chair.🦇😄
Price based on ebay...you have abut 15-20% fees (ebay and paypal) so Ryan paying 50% of ebay is equal as paying 62.5% of net value after ebay fees!!! pretty good
Wish I could explain how these guys helped me take it easy on myself. I relate so much. Wish I could go visit. I will someday, I hope. You guys are amazing. Keep spreading the joy and memories!
I'm gonna have to keep my eye on the Super Zeo Megazord if it's still there next time I drop in. There's something about it being a robot man made of smaller robot men made of shapes that pleases me. (I would have asked about it today but my mind and budget was only on seeing if y'all still had the SPD Shadow Ranger that popped up for like a second in the background)
Are you guys interested in graded comics? I might bring a few for trade. I figure if they are toy related like Barbie, Smurfs or Sonic or maybe even Blade Runner you may like them for the store. I definitely want to go through your comics section. I also have about a hundred Star Wars Vintage collection 3 3/4 figures that I'm debating on selling. They are primarily Clones and Stormtroopers for a troop building display I had put together. I love removable helmets so there are like 25-30 stormtroopers I think are VC41. I know they improved the Stormtrooper body but they never did the removable helmet again. The Phase II clones are perfect if you ask me. The Phase I have those silly skinny chicken legs like me and Ryan also have.🤣
The walmart exclusive 1990 tmnt movie 2 pack figs were the better deal because they came with extra bandanas. I still need foot soldier 2 pack. I skipped April , danny and like 2 ouuta 3 casey jines varients. Only casey jones was 2 pack with under civer ralphin tremch coat. Fir iconuc movie scene. Besides for thise few. The blue fire spirit splinter was the oddity the more rare figure thats not shown on any of the box backs.
Love these guys. Bought a masterpiece Optimus Prime figure from them, and they even transformed it for me because I'm not good at not breaking things. Just cost me my first born's soul. Joke's on them, Regan doesn't have one.
WWE tough talkers ring (may be wrong on name) got 1 of my own love listening to the music and talking. Robinhood figures look nice never seen them before!
What a bozo smh 🤦🏻♂️ $1600 store credit.. I want $2k cash but I cut you a break and I take $1,750.. I’m happy and your happy we both walk away winners and make money 👍🏼
I collect but im nit a true collector i dont buy an entire wave even. I would if i like a series if 5 or 6 figs. When it comes to collectingbthe whole action figure line. I cant find items so i just buy the figs i like. Which are more iften then not sought after by others. 1 or 2 figures i dont like 90% of the time are the odd ones that down the road are have the most value. Example. 70s. Yack face.
I've watched almost every Toy Federation video, and in some videos, there were always short clips from Ryan's podcast or where he’s just standing in the store explaining a few things. It seems like some figures end up on eBay because they aren’t 'good enough' for the displays or the store. He also mentioned that people can always ask if something isn't displayed in the store or if there’s a 'cheaper' version of a figure available/in the back. Additionally, it looks like there are sometimes boxes of loose figures around that people can dig through. I think Ryan knows how to run a store, but sometimes I wonder, with 'so many' figures and with some that he himself says are only worth 'a few bucks,' if it's really sensible to stockpile so much inventory. The store is currently being expanded, though - So maybe 'even more' will be added to the store.
Did all three get a good trade?
As usual, u make better offers than ANY of the shops around here.
Yep!
You guys are fair to the people and yourselves. Love watching and hope to visit someday.
Good trades. How do you feel when people put reproduction stickers on vintage pieces? Feels wrong. Jordan
Oh yeah they did. Not sure you can get more fair than you guys honestly. I've never been to a convention or anything but I can't imagine it being that fair. How can you not choose store credit lol like, give me.. all of that good stuff. Fair, fair and fair.

I agree. I don't know what they are talking about at all. I just find it relaxing to listen to while I work.
💯 agreed.
This 10000%
Ryan and the guys are close friends and im huge into ultra rare toys and i agree from both aspects 100%
@garettallen4963 I wait till after work to enjoy it . Usually get home around 11pm straight in the door a smoke and toy federation
This is part of my saturday routine now.
I watch after I get back from an early morning flea market run. Ive learned ALOT about toy collecting and reselling.
Big thanks to Ryan and the crew !
Been waiting for this video since early morning.
Kind of my Saturday routine watching Toy Federation.
Please don’t change!!! Love the shows and we use it sometimes as a drinking game. A shot or drink every time you hear, yeah
As soon as you put the strawberry shortcakes up there-I could smell them! I shared this video with my little sister-and the first thing she said was "I can still smell them!" Another great episode.
Omg i can literally smell the Strawberry Shortcake. It never loses its smell
Same thing here. My wife will love seeing this when she wakes up as she had those as a kid.
@20:08 That calculator/tv controler watch takes me back
It really caught my eye as a Casio fan and digital watches. Anyone know the model?
Ditto, classic 80’s nostalgia

Sat morning coffee and breakfast with the guys
That Galactus statue with Silver surfer is so damn awesome
The guy with the big haul is so polite. I enjoyed this.
First Saturday morning in here for it. Finished all the shows and caught up
Are these milk glass? I think they are coffee mugs.😂

Thanks guys! Always a great start to my Saturday.
My favorite Saturday morning time killer. Thanks guys
Your Ape with Sunglasses Tshirt is Super Cool.
"Is this milk glass?"
"No, I think they're just coffee mugs."
Watching bro handle everything with care is awesome.
“Its like milk glass….no i think their coffee cups” omfg that poor child 😂😂😂☠️☠️☠️
Gottta love the 20-somethings these days 🤣
To her credit, she was collecting a kind of cool vintage line for girls tho....
Omg, I could almost smell those SSC boxes through the computer......lol.
Man, that Shadows of the Empire Slave One was the one large Star Wars toy I had growing up and it rocked so hard. I loved that thing.
I suddenly had a toy acid flashback of smelling my sisters Strawberry Shortcake dolls. MMM Purple Pieman. Blueberry Muffin.
That was a great line.

Those Shortcakes are great, I'm a dude who likes Transformers but I always respected the girls' lines as well.
...and you respected wearing high heels, lipstick and panty hose too...and a big thick D
@@madmax8620 really dude? it's a toy.
@EgaTehPro so is a dildo...dude

Cool store, cool people, very good toy team!
We need a Toy Federation t-shirt that has the logo, and undearneath it, "Yeah, yeah." :)

How did anyone save carded A-Team from back in the day? That is wild, those suckers were played with hard at my house growing up.
why not have a bin of figures you cant put out and say that if you buy a ship or playset you get to pick a free figure out of the bin?
Love the A-Team!
Great video as always!
lol I don’t think I’ve ever seen a episode of this show that someone didn’t bring in a Ewok village 😂
😂😂😂😂😂
@@nickjohnjames30 I swear he must have a hundred of them in the back! 😂

That giant Galactus is amazing.
Lets go #StrawberryShortCake rock on.
Always a joy to watch a new episode on a freaking Saturday morning
I love the set of the store obviously the episode is amazing but the different figures in the back posed out just make it pop!

I'm a mostly vintage collector but the Haslab stuff really looks good. I'd really like to get a Galactus and Sentinel
Also, am I the only one that calls you Trade Federation? That’s what always pops into my head and it does actually work. You do a lot of trades :)

This is like PAWNSTARS with toys.
The Sheriff of Nottingham used the same head as Chainsaw from one of the RoboCop lines
Love your show! Saturday mornings are always good with TF
Agreed, it's been awhile since the Saturday morning cartoon era, but they are making content I am just as eager to watch as the cartoons 🙂
That woman must regret selling those Strawberry Shortcake figures. They are gorgeous, little works of art. She did get paid well, though.
Robin Hood toy line...never knew it existed. Loved the movie as a kid. Doomed to failure.
I don't see or hear much about Legos unless I missed something. I had some space ones when I was a kid.
I am fairly sure Burger King or Burger Chef promotion.

I was number 5 for liking your video! I get bragging right. 😊
What kid wanted Robinhood toys
I am always curious what do you do with the stuff not good enough for the case? do you still buy it and it ends up on ebay?
Stop letting people lean on those boxes of comics. I don’t know anything about comics values anymore but for some reason it drives me insane.
If comics are in boxes, they’re not worth a lot lol
What happens to the figures that you wouldn’t put in the case? Stored away or sold as lower priced incomplete
how much of you stock do you consider "unsellable"?
