@@AeroPlaysPoker no not at all, very good winning player. I was raised all in on the river when I don't have not even second nut most times I told. Now I might look them up any tips on when? Appreciate it
@@aloha270999 You need a better concept of analyzing opponent play. Always know who you're playing with. Is he a solid rock? Easy fold. Is he an action player who is raising a lot and playing almost every hand? Easy call. Is he a professional who is capable of making a bluff if he thinks you're weak? Well here you have to analyze how the hand played from preflop to river and make your best decision based on the psychology of the hand as well as how this particular player has played previous hands. What stakes do you play by the way?
@@AeroPlaysPoker 2/5 mostly, it's good players like you I raise with JJ pre flop he calls calls and shove all in on the river maybe three suits or three connectors on the board he may have two pair no cards over Js , I just fold and wait for better spot or trap them. I really need to play like you to win consistently which I don't.
Now if only it were proffitable lol. Almost always bad. Although I DID get revenge on @SuitedSteph for over 2k the last time we played together. The first time, she robbed me off of middle set when she jammed double pot when the river put various straight possiblities out as well as a possible backdoor flush. I only had 250 invested facing a 1k shove, so decided to fold. She showed A-high, no pair no draw lol. Revenge was quite sweet ;)
The fold is fine. There is good chance you were ahead but your not likely to improve and whether hes got it or not you will probably see a big bet on the turn that you dont want to deal with.
78s is just a fold pre in UTG in a 9 handed game, its just a losing raising in the long run. The exact runout shows exactly why. You made one of the best hands possible (flush), and were not happy to call a river bet. For what its worth, you should just be bet-folding that river. Its disastrous if the next to act player checks back Ax there, when it will likely call a bet. You can just bet 1/2ish pot and fold to a raise, that is never a bluff.
I noticed 2 5 or 1 2 one thing in common is when opponents raise the on the turn and river it’s almost always a big hand. Whereas a lot different then high stake game such as 100 200 no limit
These are really good im at the right point to learn some things here, but also ways I would do it differently or I got to the same betting figure at $125 once which I was proud of. Been reading books, practising and going on forums and videos and happy I have found this video it really helped me, I will view it more than once. Given me confidence as well! I like how you talk and show las vegas its really inspiring and gives the poker a scene. Cant believe you've only uploaded 2 videos started over a week ago! Have you done videos in the past? Nice earnings too!! Been practicing online and some live tournaments which Live I won 1 and came 3rd and in online 1st in an online freeroller toruney Tempted to try £1/£1 £300 buy in live which is the casinos minimum here in UK but obviously putting a lot to risk compared to NL2 online and £20 buy-in tournaments.

allow me to correct an important detail before you continue in your poker endeavors - the hand at 1:40 is Pocket Jacks - more specifically the hand you hold is the One-eyed Jacks: not to be confused with the Two-eyed Jacks or the Black Jacks or Red Jacks - you and i are in the same age range and, as such, must show a level of precise understanding when describing a hand - for myself, i have been around the game for neatly 25 years, and am not shy about sharing my card-playing acumen and sophistication - cheers for Northern California (the state which still is indeed, as you know, the global capital of poker)
It *used to be my lucky hand back when I believed in lucky hands* I'm sure is what I stated ;D Now that I no longer believe in lucky hands, I folded on the turn and also explained why I should have just folded preflop.
Well I explained it was because with JJ I had just sat down to the table. Usually I raise 15-20 with most hands, including JJ and even AA as you'll see in my 2nd video.
I recommend investing in some audio editing equipment and software. The uneven audio is distracting, and lowers overall production value quite a bit. That being said, Rock On; Good Luck.
@@PedroLima-xt1of I am actually already using Audacity and a Blue Yeti Microphone :D For now I will simply blame the wife for any audio issues. It'll give more meaning to her whippings when we break out the S&M gear.

This guy is amazing! Plays q9s right up front. Instead of getting properly punished for playing crap out of position, he wins a nice pot. But at times he gives sound advice. Jury is still out if I should watch this guy. 😕
Can you indicate effective stack sizes and positions? In the 74s hand, that context would be very helpful. If villain's stack is as large as yours, calling might be fine on the turn. AJ #1: Why did you check the turn after the flop checked through? I think you would have much more likely gotten some value on the turn than on the river.... AJ #2: Folding top pair top kicker on the flop? Well there's one reason not to donk bet. Villain can have 65s, KJ/QJ/JT. I'd have checked and considered x-raising.
My stack will always be at least 1500, + whatever I'm currently up. I will usually state how deep my opponent's stack is of it's relevant. Positions are always stated. In the 4-7 hand, I stated my advice on why folding is much better. With AJ when the A hit the turn, I would only bet there in late position, not first to act. OG raiser has a lot more AQ or AK there or will often times pretend to rep such a hand and bet with air if you give them some rope. For the last AJ hand, you will find out in the 2nd video if my play was good or not!
Decent watch until you big timed a 2-5 game and then called the clock on a rec considering paying you. I imagine that will look great on your hourly long term. 🤣

Been practicing online and some live tournaments which Live I won 1 and came 3rd and in online 1st in an online freeroller toruney
Tempted to try £1/£1 £300 buy in live which is the casinos minimum here in UK but obviously putting a lot to risk compared to NL2 online and £20 buy-in tournaments.
Thank you for your support! I hope you will be able to put my hand discussions to good use :D This channel is actually a team effort between my wife and I, but it is honestly our first videos ever! I play the poker and provide the commentary and she does the graphic editing.
@@AeroPlaysPoker Nice will be eagerly awaiting the next video!
Very good subbed
Thank you! Hope you enjoy the rest if the videos :D
Enjoyed the vlog- So you lay full time? No other income? I am assuming you have found the early post midnight hours to be more profitable? Good luck
No other income source, but I don't play full time 😅 I only play about 50-60 hours a month.
allow me to correct an important detail before you continue in your poker endeavors - the hand at 1:40 is Pocket Jacks - more specifically the hand you hold is the One-eyed Jacks: not to be confused with the Two-eyed Jacks or the Black Jacks or Red Jacks - you and i are in the same age range and, as such, must show a level of precise understanding when describing a hand - for myself, i have been around the game for neatly 25 years, and am not shy about sharing my card-playing acumen and sophistication - cheers for Northern California (the state which still is indeed, as you know, the global capital of poker)
ultimate neck beard commentary here
Whirling dervish... D&D class?
Nice
Thank you, come again! ;S
I like... 😁😇👍
You and me both! ;D
Excellent!
Glad you liked it!
Good stiff. I'll sub
I much prefer a good stiff than a floppy Pinot Grigio!
Great channel!
Thank you :D
Good stuff. Best of luck
Thank you for being the first to comment on this video! :D
Great vlog. Subscribed. Think your opponent had an over pair (QQ or KK)
Thanks for the sub! You find out at the end of the 2nd vlog :D
If 47 is your favorite hand,I don't see much future😂
It *used to be my lucky hand back when I believed in lucky hands* I'm sure is what I stated ;D Now that I no longer believe in lucky hands, I folded on the turn and also explained why I should have just folded preflop.
I like how you raise utg JJ$25 and then later utg 78dd $15 👌
Well I explained it was because with JJ I had just sat down to the table. Usually I raise 15-20 with most hands, including JJ and even AA as you'll see in my 2nd video.
I recommend investing in some audio editing equipment and software. The uneven audio is distracting, and lowers overall production value quite a bit.
That being said, Rock On; Good Luck.
Do you have anything you recommend? 😀
Audacity does the job for the software enchantment, like even the audio and reducing the noise.
And fot the equip, any small microphone does the job.
@@PedroLima-xt1of I am actually already using Audacity and a Blue Yeti Microphone :D For now I will simply blame the wife for any audio issues. It'll give more meaning to her whippings when we break out the S&M gear.
How come u only play 2-5? When u played higher stakes before
I wasn't as disciplined. I didn't have as good of bankroll management. I had a gambling addiction. It's much easier to lose control when you're just a single bachelor with no one to rely on you. I'll climb back up when the time is right :)
I get it thanks for sharing had similar issues at one time too. U live & u learn
Why you always play after midnight?
Higher chance to bump into street walkers!
This guy is amazing! Plays q9s right up front. Instead of getting properly punished for playing crap out of position, he wins a nice pot. But at times he gives sound advice. Jury is still out if I should watch this guy. 😕
I like that you're watching through multiple videos before coming to a conclusion :D
if jacks are jiggities what are nines?
I have no idea... Ask Brad Owen ;p I just use Luscious Ladies for Queens =]
I think he has a set the last hand. Most likely a set.
You find out in the 2nd video!
@thinkbluepoker watch this guy's videos and learn!
Is this thinkbluepoker someone who's not doing so well at the low stakes? 😅
Decent watch until you big timed a 2-5 game and then called the clock on a rec considering paying you. I imagine that will look great on your hourly long term. 🤣
Zero chance you can make even 5k/month consistently at 2/5 these days.
You can see 3 months worth of my latest sessions on my poker bankroll app on my Short below or in my Instagram showing over 40k worth of wins in strictly 2-5 sessions ... Although granted, most people won't be able to mimick my results.
Too much talk at the start. Just jump into the games
It's only for the first vlog, I promise 😅
I disagree with kid. The intro was necessary to establish your back story. If anything, it made me lean into the video more.
Bro, you got to stop w/ the lame & corny commentary and clips.
Makes video unwatchable.
Rule #1: Less is more.
I couldn’t disagree more. The dry humor is such a nice addition. Makes the video way more interesting
@@aaronwaterman3888 Yeah and you probably think the recent Miss 300 lb. Alabama is a real beauty.
I disagree as well. We out number you Daniel 2-1 so that means your opinion is unpopular and uploader should pay no mind to the minorities opinion.

More cushion for the pushin'... Big girls need love too!
Try more original lines. I've heard these lines a million times before.
Me too, but that's only because I keep watching my same video over and over. 😂 And I hope you are too!
Great first video!
Thank you! :D Make sure to check out the others!
@@AeroPlaysPoker I have deep dived! This is a great channel. It's very refreshing to see an actual real player and not another gto robot
@@Terbmagic4 the trolls come bashing me regularly for not playing GTO 😅 How are these "robots" different?
@AeroPlaysPoker I'm just very thankful you don't mention BLOCKERS and EV on every hand. 😂 people don't understand that playing live is different than online. You can see them. You can see their feelings. You can also know the average player will not be calling down with air because gto says so.
