It's sounds so familiar because in India this types of drums are used in many Hindu festivals and I loved that we both cultures(Aztec and Hindu) have many things in common

Thank you so much for your comments and congratulations
We are brazilian musicians, for this music we used 2 alfaias (brazilians drums) + 1 djembé (african drum). We made a rereading of "Aztec Drums of War" by Tambores de Tenochtitlan. All the credits for the composer.

This is really great stuff. I have always wondered what was going in the first video I've seen on the TH-cam Aztec Drums of War by Aztec Drums of War by Tambores de Tenochtitlan and then your video shows up so I have a visual. Thanks for sharing this great video.

Why do we have to start this kind of pettiness. It doesn't matter whoes it is, music trancends barriers, but since you went there; if you check out the dates on the three videos, the virst video was publishe in 2009, the second (your Japanese) was in 2015 and then, this one in 2017. Now leave well enough alone and enjoy the music for what it is and not petty giberish.

I don't care. If I want to listen yo yo ma I can to look for it without any problem. If I want to listen someone who covers yo yo ma I can look for it too. I don't care about your personal beliefs about music or any other shit. I was looking for aztec drums, not japanese drums or someone covering yo yo ma's music. This is not tv, I can choose, so if someone is making me believe I found something and it is wrong or it is a lie I simply dont like it. You can do wherever you want about your personal beliefs, break barriers with music or wherever. No one cares and Im warning people who was looking for aztec war drums to not waste their time.

Yo yo ma is Japanese? Gotta be kidding me. Besides, this video is for sure Aztec drumming, with some interesting similarities with the one (Jiangzhou Da Gu) in Northern China But different from Japanese

He's right, it's a cover of "Night Fight" from Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon"... it's kind of similar, but the drum beats are a bit different, and the yelling is definitely out of eastern martial arts. Lol could fool many though

Saludos!!
