I had a huge crush on Heidi/Staci in that movie when I was a kid/teenager. I still have a crush her. She has such a beautiful face. Her eyes and smile are just so pretty, so gorgeous, and so cute. I wish she would have fallen for Fred.
EG Daily was cute in Valley Girl but I loved her performance in Better Off Dead. It's mysterious that her music career didn't take off more than it did. She's an awesome singer with great stage presence. Makes on think that much of popular success is having the right people on your side, and luck.
I'm really thrilled Valley Girl finally got a Blu-ray release and from one of the best Boutique Blu-ray companies(Shout Factory and that 2-album vinyl reprint of the soundtrack is phenomenal I found it in a local record shop here in Atlanta named Criminal Records for $35 I totally freaked out when I saw the only copy just sitting there on the shelf

When I was 12 me and my friends in Trenton NJ loved E.G. so much that I formed a fan club and literally found he rmanager's info in my Tiger Beat magazIne. I called him and we spoke a few times about him presenting it all to E.G. to get her involved but it never happened. Still loved her just the same. Gosh I think it was 1983 lol.
Both women look beautiful but EG is still my personal favorite. Met her like 20 years ago at a comic con. You could not meet a more sweeter woman. I'll never forget how beautiful and kind she was...

The Valley Girl soundtrack was finally made available in the 90's on cd. There were two volumes which included almost all the songs played in the movie except Eddy Grant's "Electric Avenue" was missing. The promo vinyl from the early 80's did not include many songs butnwas a sought after collectible. i
