Hola a Argentina. Sí, llevo albergando esta pasión desde 1993, y sigue vigente. Gracias a Dios todavía tengo una XR600R de 1994 en mi garaje. Espero poder hacer otro video con la XR pronto. Con esto en mente - saludos de nuevo.
OH.........Beautiful, man taking a great bike and bringing it back is the best thing. Use a heat gun on the gas tank, no gas of course, and the white will come back just like new! Used that method on some old plastic on a DT 400 and saved myself some money. NICE bike, wish I had something like that to ride!!
Thanks you like! Yes sometimes it works with the heat gun. Depending on what fuel was used and stored. Have you already checked my XR playlist @ th-cam.com/play/PLAMSJUeEdZ-XX1B6ZtxkrY-hjE5Qii8_U.html kind regards Thomas
Hi Shayne. That's true and kind of still is. Did you watch all my XR videos - than and now - U can find @ th-cam.com/play/PLAMSJUeEdZ-XX1B6ZtxkrY-hjE5Qii8_U.html ENJOY - Kind regards Thomas
Yeah the 250 is so sweet - I love to ride it - now my 14 year old doughter can handle it - even she's on a 230F. You can find our XR250R in my XR playlist. enjoy - kind regards Thomas th-cam.com/play/PLAMSJUeEdZ-XX1B6ZtxkrY-hjE5Qii8_U.html
Hi I love your videos, awesome riding! I was wondering if you ever put a stiffer spring in the rear shock on your xr600s? I have a 1994 model and I was thinking about fitting a heavier spring for more motocross style riding ... thanks!
Hi, thx you like my videos. No , I never put something stiffer in, the fork and damper setting was enough on 93 & 94 models. The changed the setting from 95-96 into: tooo soft. With my 1994 rebuild (2018) it's still good to jump and race some classic series here in Austria. You can check the whole rebuild pictures @ www.motopark.at/gallery/project-x/ I think the key for use the oem spec suspension and also in general is to stand as much as possible .... Kind regards Thomas
@@maxoneillhall hi, I really don't know, I just know that they soften it too much from 95 and up, thats why I went for 2 - 1994 by now. I owned a 93 & 95 back in these days ---- the 95 shock was a desaster ... regards Tom
it was the last one at www.cmsnl.com but I also ordered a white from clarke - usa - not bad quality - but I have not seen a colored tank from them ..... so maybe you asking in thumperracing forum's &&& I sometimes look for months to find a good used or maybe new part. Good look - good things take its time! Regards Thomas
@@egger2500 love your Chanel, there's one other Jacob gillan you can both ride the wheels of the XR's, you made a lovely job of yr bike I'm truly envious.🤙
Originally it's a 1994 as the white tank showes. Now I run a 2000 red one on it. I think the XR650L tanks should fit. You can get new plastic tanks via Clarke mfG from the US but BORMI PARTS from Italy makes nice ALU tanks. Good luck!
Sweet XR..I'm in UK and not many XR600 here now. I have a really nice 94 model with Gold Talon Hubs/polished Excel rims(with original speedo drive), FMF Q4 with fat header pipes, stage 1 hotcam, tecnosel seat and graphics and other bling bits. I love my XR👍! Flat slide carb next on the list..Mikuni or Keihin? Not sure which yet. Those look like CRF hubs on your wheels using the original XR600 axles. Was it a lot of work getting them to fit an XR600, or is it just different bearings and spacers needed? I heard the rear hub is too wide. I want a set of supermoto wheels for mine and CRF hubs/wheels are easier to get hold of nowadays. I would like to know how you fitted your wheels. Thanks for the cool XR footage. The bikes sound so lazy on film, but i know you're riding the shit out of that beast!!
