BMX HOW TO INSTALL A HEADSET, FORK AND STEM

Man I was panicking that I had to buy a new headset but then you said the fork should be a 1/8 of a inch down so shoudl be perfect

Mine is the similar setup but my parts are different. Framed BMX. How do those forks go together on framed to bmx?

The Framed bike is not great quality, probably spend more fixing it than it's worth. Not sure what type of fork and headset they use since chances are a brand like that isn't standardized across their line.

What if your stem is having a lot of problems to get on the fork can I use a rubber mallet or will it damage something

A rubber mallet probably won't hurt it any, may not be supper effective either, something like a dead blow hammer would work..just be careful not to mare the surface.

You probably need a headset spacer. If the top of the fork sits above or flush with the top of the stem the preload cap tightens into the top of the fork and can’t push down on the stem and pull up on the fork to load the proper pressure on the bearings
