I love all cats, no matter the color - have had a calico, a grey tiger, a b/w, two black ones and a tortoise. One of the black ones and the tortie are living with me now. Joyful. The tortie is the most intelligent and chaotic cat I've ever shared my life with. She opens doors, tells me stories, loves to produce a mayhem with everything I don't put away - so my place has been really tidy ever since she moved in. So much fun to be with. Sassy, the black cat, has dedicated herself into educating this little wild thing. Successfully. Besides, she's cuddly like hardly any other cat before her.
I love your cats' stories, thanks for sharing! I definitely agree with what you've said about torties - mine is the most intelligent one too (She's Lucky who's in this video) - she's the only cat who can fetch a paper and bring it to me every time I ask her haha!

A stray (I THINK she's a Bombay/American Bobtail mix) that made my garage her home a few weeks ago has just given birth to 5 kittens (so far) this morning - at least 3 of which look to be torties. I had never heard the name until I searched for photos of orange & black cats after seeing her litter.
No idea what I'm going to do with mom & a bunch of kittens when I have a 9 year old not very friendly cat inside & 2 70lb+ dogs, but the babies are sooo cute & mama has to be the sweetest cat I've ever seen.

My tortie Cinnamon is just like this, she’s a sweet little kitty loves to follow me around outside in the afternoon.
Wait until she grows out of kitten hood she will have plenty of tortitude. But I love my tortie, When bring scolded she will hiss and a second later be in my face purring. They are usually high energy cats who play a lot mi e just turned 8 and she still plays, Also they are major lap cats.
Our tortie looks a lot like the kitty in the video, and yes, she is our sweetest cat. She is the only one who never fights with the other cats.
