The finished size of this panda crochet baby blanket is 33” x 33” (84 x 84 cm) approximately.
In this tutorial, I’ll show you how to crochet both the panda and solid granny squares. We’ll also cover how to seam your squares together. And lastly I’ll show you how to work up the border, consisting of five easy rounds.

Oh this is so pretty and your explanation is very clear. I’m searching for a baby blanket tutorial to gift my friend’s newborn baby and I think I’ll make this for her. Just a question can I use other yarn size/weight for this? From where I live it’s easier to find yarn size #2 and #4 so I plan to use size #4 / aran, worsted / 10 ply to get a bigger result

Is there a way to flip the video for left handed people? I’m trying to learn how to crochet but it’s even more tricky if I’m trying to mirror you🙈
if i was going to steam this afterwards to make it more plyable, would it be better to do once completely assembled? or should i do each square individually
Blocking the squares beforehand would help to make them all the same size (due to tension problems), so other than that I would join everything, work up the border then steam the entire blanket in one go ☺️ Thanks for following along with the tutorial and I hope you're very happy with the finished result! 💞
