I’ve always cook fried rice , fried egg , soup ( for me tomyam -one of thailand cuisine cuz at my country we hv the paste) , oden ( like the family mart) , fried ramen noodles ( usually i just use the broth powder for the spice) . Plus sometimes i also pre -heated again my chicken dishes in the rice cooker .
OM! All I can use in my dorm is a rice cooker and an electric kettle, they said that it's not allowed to use a electric stove so we made way of using the rice cooker instead. You can fry, do soups and of course cook rice! You can actually cook adobo and sinigang hahaha

Ladylike tried an Easybake oven for things made for an easybake oven, and they turned out rather awful, and took a much longer time to cook. There is a slit through which you feed your flat food. So I don't think she can do a lot with one!
I remember my sister got one and it made 1 or 2 cookies in 2 hours and my mom made like 100 in 30 minutes that same day
Had an easy bake oven as a kid and I wondered why it took so long to "bake", so I took it apart. Turns out it's just a light bulb with some metal plates around it to reflect the heat. Asking someone to make real food with it is like asking someone to cook with a lamp hahaha

Oh yeah love my little toaster oven! I've made a pound of meat loaf in it. Just toasted some bread crispy for the bread crumbs and just use a small 6*9 pyrex dish and you're golden! Oh yeah don't forget to line the dish with parchment or foil and cover with foil. Made it twice and both times tastes great 👍

I moved out of my central Austin home two years ago when I decided to homestead. I love to cook, and I am testing the assertion made in this video, that you can make just about anything with a toaster oven and a hot plate.
Technically, I have a Breville "oven fryer" (countertop oven) and a countertop, single burner induction oven, so it's sort of the deluxe version of those items. I also have a gas grill just outside the yurt. This is the set up for the foreseeable future, and it's fun to work within these limits. I think of it like solving a puzzle.
When she popped that hot potato in her mouth, had me rolling on the floor! 😂 I can totally relate. Love you Alexis! ❤️

As amazing and fun it is to watch these, I do gotta say these videos are really great for those who are less fortunate and can't afford expensive appliances, like to show so many different creative ways to use different appliances and make some, may I say, BOMB looking meals, it is pretty extraordinary. In Asia, there's a thing called Rice Cooker cuisine. You should definitely try doing a 3 course meal with that. Or perhaps a Pressure Cooker?

some of the comments they showed said "toaster oven" so clearly they saw that some of them said toaster oven and chose to go with that which is Definitely a pretty easy appliance compared to like. a coffee maker or an iron. it doesn't really seem like a challenge more just like a generic tasty video where theyre like "meals you can cook in a toaster oven!" (at least she chose some things that were hard to make using just an oven of any kind like steak and calamari)

This is how I make almost all my meals. I live in AZ and it's too hot in the summer to heat up the oven. It's especially great for broiling vegetables and cooking pizza.
I actually use my toaster oven a lot for cooking especially when I cook salmon. I like to see it first sear it on the sides with a pan and then I finish it off in the toaster oven wrapped, it's always perfectly cooked.

@@danielphung6146 A toaster oven is a technically a convection oven. As opposed to a microwave oven. Both toaster and regular ovens cook using convection. An actual convection oven also has fans to circulate air.

When using a toaster oven for baking, it helps to cover the dough with foil the first half of the baking time. It helps keep from burning

When me and my boyfriend first moved in we didn't have a kitchen yet, because we bought one way too late to get it delivered as soon as we moved in - so I got a second hand "mini kitchen" thing with 2 hotplates on top and a microwave/toasteroven hybrid underneath.
I got soooooo creative with cooking every meal possible on that thing that I didn't know what to do anymore, once the real oven came in and I kinda even missed it at some point since I donated it to a homeless shelter. Fun times ❤
