    Thank you for making these videos. I gave up on learning EUC and my V10 sat in the garage for a few months, until I started watching your videos (and Hsiang.) I got back on it and finally learned it. Since, I have put more than a thousand miles on the EUC and ride a V11 today. Keep these videos coming and great job!

    I agree with your review. I absolutely love my SherMax! It’s such a fun and capable wheel. I started out with it in medium mode, but after getting used to it went to strong mode all of the time. It’s a beast! As you said, it’s hard to ride a non-suspension wheel once you’ve experienced the benefits of suspension. However, the Max sure has a lot to offer otherwise. (I too just wish my Max had suspension). Thanks for sharing! 👊👍

    Looking at your videos, those of Monocat, Davastato and others, I fell in love with the EUC so much that I skipped the lighter and cheaper ones and went directly to the V11, which seemed to me more suited to my 100 kg, and even more powerful and safe. I learned in a skating rink by leaning on the handrail, then off, free as air! Now I almost always do dirt roads, on the asphalt I have less fun. To save my knees I also need the suspension, and I'm happy with the choice, it's worth it, even if it's heavier, more complex and expensive. I have never fully used the autonomy, because for now I take one or two hour rides, my wife does not give me more time than that 🤭 She is refractory to anything that moves on wheels, in water or in the air, so it will never be possible to go there together, too bad, it would be wonderful🥺

    I am also an experienced Veteran Sherman rider and the Max is Leaper Kims best wheel by far HOWEVER I would choose the Commander over the Max for its range, speed, and more importantly its stability around high Speed turns. I originally traded a Commander HS to purchase the MAX but after two weeks of ownership I sold the Max and repurchased the Commander. As frustrated as I was with the Commander overheating it didn't compare to how frustrated I was with the wobbles of the Sherman Max around high-speed turns. Yes, the Commander has a tendency to overheat if you ride it hard or go up long hills but there's now a simple solution to remedy that. Simply drill two 1 1/2-inch holes near the power button (one on each side) and three in the rear. Voila! Now you just turned the most overheated wheel to the coolest wheel in your stable.

      @@whatsupbudbud should I get the Sherman then sell it after the rim cracks or bends or should I get the Master and sell it after the seat cracks? I can go on and find fault in any wheel. EUC’s are in their infancy stages. Therefore all you can do is weigh the pro’s and con’s out and decide whats tolerable and not. If/When EUCs get to a point where quality is excellent than expect the price to reflect more than $5000

    accelerating backwards is pretty easy technique wise - just 'sit in the chair' like you do when hard braking. I find the problem is controlling that hard, reverse acceleration, and coming off the wheel going backwards is especially not fun

    On the subject of range, I have run my Sherman Max out of battery and don't know what the range was, but, the battery level was reading over half when I went out and it was dead within a few miles, so don't rely on the battery level gauge. It must just be measuring voltage and isn't an accurate predictor of range. Otherwise, 2 thumbs-up to the Sherman Max.

    • @darkstar4494
      @darkstar4494 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I don’t know… that sounds like an electrical issue. I’d get that checked out.
      You can look at the voltage values yourself and see where 0% should be.

    • @Kay0Bot
      @Kay0Bot 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Voltage is GREAT indicator of range possible.
      How much power you are using will determine the actual range. Check your usage per mile.

    Liked, this is what I am also thinking, the suspension wheels are coming thick and fast and the others are being left behind. I would love to try a S22 or Master out on my route to the work and back to see how they perform. We are still waiting here in the UK, no demo/review units.

      @@whatsupbudbud IS hard to tell becasue some assembly vorkers do isolation and other shift no afected is MAX what was created mont ago and container shiping is almost 3 months now you need check idealy by reseler.
      How to fix existing wheels
      Most likely, everyone with a Sherman Max already ridden must:
      Drop the motor from the inner shell
      Remove the pedal hanger on the wire harness side to inspect how much dirt is around the hole. In order to remove this pedal hanger, you will need to cut the existing silicon, which might be useless.
      Clean the area, by vacuuming if possible. Avoid using compressed air or anything which could push dirt into the bearing. Very little is enough to destroy the bearing.
      Once the area is clean enough, fill any gap between the whole and wire harness with plenty of silicon. However, don't apply so much silicon that it would end up in the bearing or interacting with the bearing seal.
      I recommend using an alkoxy silicone which won't corrode metal to avoid damage to the bearing and motor.
      Make sure that the hole is plugged by the sealant, from the axle up to the inner race of the bearing
      Re-assemble while making sure that the sealant stays in place
