RC TRUCKS | STEERING RELOCATION | FREE STEERING MOD | TAMIYA SCANIA BUILD COMPLETE

I have finally finished the Tamiya Scania after it being sat there for months as I just lost my mojo.. Anyway I have completed the truck now and finished off the remaining parts to the build but I particularly wanted to show how I was using the gearbox servo for the steering as I had locked the gearbox in second gear so there was no use for that servo and it looks better removed from the side of the chassis... its a simple mod and if you are running a standard steering rod and ends then this will also improve your steering lock.

Having the battery in the cab gives a nice clean look when the battery box is removed. Mine has the mfc unit so no room for batt in cab.

Wicked mod Brother, really dig the way ya'll did it versus stock & I'm the same, locked into 2nd is a much better way to go given the running ya'll do. The Scania is lookin just sweet as well, as always a seriously impressive build Brother, very well done!!! Take care huh!

I did this mod on a custom truck I built that did not use the Tamiya gearbox. Quiet handy actually...
