- Some RC kit builds are quick, others take some time and some take a really long time. We received the Tamiya Mercedes-Benz Arocs Tipper Truck some time ago, but this build up kit is loaded with parts and detail. So we chose to build it as time allowed, painting parts here and gluing parts there and finally it’s complete! The Tamiya Mercedes-Benz Arocs Tipper Truck like many other Tamiya big rigs is just an amazing scale model that is radio control. It is comprised of components that will certainly impress you as you build it. I have one as well , working on it when I get to the dump actuator ill send a few pics , should be very cool with sound system, lights and dump bed actuator all working should be very cool !

There are lots of upgrades for this truck, its what is drawing me to it, You can get complete third party metal axles with lockable diffs, drive axle for the front etc. beautiful paint job. Getting stuck can be often from the battery hanger, there is a kit to put it un the truck cab as well but that requires modifications to the cab.
Yeah third gear with the stock can motor is about a scale speed of a hundred. Tamiya needs to put those rear tires in all the semi truck kits, they look like proper drive tires instead of having steer axle tires all the way around.
It is a good idea to put the trucks together with all the options you want when building them, as if not you pretty much have to dismantle the entire truck.

How come you did not put tipper actuator in as part of your build?

I think you can get oil-filled dampers for it too.

I bet you can find a lipo to fit that.
Am I also make some smoother running friction dampers and I think they have friction damper grease you can put it in them to get them like more like oil filled.

You know if it was an I-beam four-wheel drive up front it would be like an independent live axle moving up and down in opposite directions like a lot like an independent suspension but it.
I think you can make it six-wheel drive.
You can use it for a movies practical effects. Looks real as shit to me.
