After Spectro, he got a value of 0.160. just use the equation of the calibration curve to solve for mg/L. equation would look like 0.160=0.012x+0.0015. solve for x and it will give you the mg/L of phosphate

I have assignment in the removal of nitrate and phosphate from aqueous solution. The problem is I need to determine the concentration of phosphate and nitire after removal process. But lecture said I can't use the UV directly. Please guide me as I'm lost

you cant use UV directly because their solutions are transparent. you need to add a method that adds color to your phosphate and nitrate solution
