  • I made this trash pump and IBC tote irrigation system so that I could water remote areas in my yard for an upcoming project. I also will be using it to water my food plots for my wildlife, and as a fire fighting setup when we do prescribed burns on our timber ground and our crp fields. I had the IBC tote, and purchased the trash pump and hose from Harbor Freight, the pump and hose was around $412.00, so with the other pvc parts and hoses I am into it around $500.00

Awesome, I applaud your innovation, even though it’s a temporary set-up, it looks great.

Thank you, I cant take full credit, I saw a similar video on here and since I have a ton of IBC totes figured I could make one for myself. If I were to keep the IBC tote set up, I think I would find an old running gear and put 3 or 4 totes inline on it plumb them in series and put the pump on the end of it so that I could have up to 1100 gallons of water. I think that would be a decent set up for our property and what we need.

You’re going to need a bigger tractor and trailer setup to drag 4 and a half tons of water to the fields.

Could have set up an impact sprinkler on pressure rated PVC and secured it with a tpost.
