My shit AS grades caused my teachers to predict me exactly what I got in AS...like they didn't even look at my gcses idk I'm fucked now...and they're not convinced I'm gonna do better so they won't even make it higher
@@SahandBrizi Looool not the most inspirational story, my worth ethic didnt improve from AS and my final grades were Infact terrible 😂 However still got into my chosen subject at RHUL through clearing...took it for granted and partied too hard, got kicked out, transferred to shitty Brunel and I’m in my 3rd year now 😂
I got ABC in my AS mocks and really worried as no matter how much I spoke to my teachers that I want to apply for dentistry they still won't put down my predicted grades as AAA. I'll keep trying to convince them but if they still won't put down the predicted grades I need do I still bother to apply for dentistry? Bearing in mind that if I don't have the right predicted grades they won't even read my personal statement and it'll just be a waste of an application. I've done HEAPS of work experience and volunteering for the past few years and I'm so determined to do work harder at A2, but the only thing stopping me from applying now is the predicted grades. Another thing would be to just get the AAA at the end of A2 and apply through clearing. Help!! X
I got all A's in GCSEs but i think i am about to fail my A'level exams i have not done my A 2 exam yet but i think it will be mostly C's and a B can i still get to study Medicine
Well see how your A2 exams go, if you need to retake then you should do so, just put the work in. Otherwise you can also try to apply for the foundation year medicine. But you will need at least BBB. Good luck i'm sure you can do it!
I've just finished my GCSE's and I think I did alright, mostly B grades from looking at unofficial mark schemes on TSR. If I were to get straight A's in first year of A-levels, would this make up for my GCSE grades? Btw, I want to do Medicine at Uni, I've looked at most uni websites for medicine and some say they want B in GCSE english and maths, which I think I'm gonna get, while others say A*-A in everything. Do you know of people who have gotten into Medicine with B grades at GCSE?
Doing well for AS will cover up definitely as the first thing the university looks at is ur predicted grades. Some universities are definitely specific about GCSE's like Oxford but there are more that care about A-levels more for example Manchester University. Just work harder in AS and you should definitely get an offer :-D
also don't forget if you went to an underperforming school they will take this into consideration alongside any special circumstances you might have had :)
I’m a graduate in psychology I’m trying to apply for medicine. Medicinal student who offers his services to help others told me that my choices are limited specially cause I don’t have English and maths gcse B or above and he also said I’m limited because of the fact that it’s psychology and not a lot of uni take that for gem .... so told me to maybe to consider one year college to do access to medicine course .... my gcse were c grades. So I dont know what to do now he said I can still try apply but my options will be limited cause they look at your gcse and few unis consider psycholgy bsc as a science. Please can anyone offer any advice?😭
I got AABC and I'm applying because my teachers are Predicting me AAA. It's all about predicted grades in the end, AS just make it easier to convince teachers
remember you need to reach this prediction, because most offers are only conditional. You may get a place but if you don't get the grades you might not get accepted
hi Ryan can I apply to pursue of being doctor after completing bachelor in nursing?if yes then plz give me the full details about the course and its completion and fee structure.
You can take the graduates degree for medicine, i'm not sure if you need at least 2:1. Fees usually are about £9,250 per year for tuition. You can find this all on the university website for the particular courses you want to take.
Hi I'm a student in Singapore, just sat for my a levels and I believe I might be getting AAB so are there universities in UK that still accept international students without all As? (I've also sat for my BMAT, still awaiting the results)
hi if i got a C grade in my chemistry gcse exam will they let me do chemistry A level and will they give me chance to show them that I am capable of doing it.thank you
What if you don't get high predicted grades :(

I suggest waiting for your A2 results and then apply, if it means you get in. How is it going now?

Hello Ryhan. Do you think having a predicted grade of B in AS will be good enough to apply for Medicine? Please Reply...
+ROMAN HANG LIMBU if you only have one B it won't be too bad, but double check by calling the admissions departments
Ryhan Hussain Thanks man.

unis usually want around 6 A's at gcse I think, probably varies though :)

Definitely

N. Ha. Drop the subject you got a C in and that’s good set

If i get distinction, distinction, distinction in extended diploma in applied science could i get it into medicine?
Impossible, you'll have to do a bio medical science degree and then apply as a postgraduate to unis, I'm sorry but this is the blatant truth😔😓
