When you say the lord was on your side it makes it feel like the lord was not on the side of the other innocent folks who died. Picking and choosing and judging people (to save) is a human emotion and action and not that of the lord. I know your intent with this message but the wording makes it seem as though and comes across as insensitive or callous, given that it talks about the death of coworkers and implies that the speaker's survival is somehow more favorable due to divine intervention.

The Twin Towers were built to withstand fires and hell, were even reinforced to withstand a bombing due to the 1993 bombings that happened. But literally nobody could predict a god damn 747 flying into the building going 500 MPH taking 9 floors with it, which completely fucked up the infrastructure of the entire building. Plus you need to remember, they were in the South Tower, NOT the North Tower and only 1 person in all of NYC actually captured the video of the first plane hitting the North Tower so nobody knew what was happening. Most people just thought it was a fire, or someone hit a gas line accidentally. They all thought they were safe, and literally nobody could predict a second plane was just 3 minutes away.
