Despite this boss fight being tough I do give the developers credit for making you time your attacks when need to. It helps make you pay attention more in combat.
I know exactly what you mean, most games these days have boss that are just too easy or just overused quick time events. This sort of boss requires a constant level of concentration and patience, as would be needed against such an opponent.

I agree, frankly I would have hoped they gave him more of the dynamic that very similar to Catwoman, he had his own story arc within the game, and that maybe instead of getting sent to Blackgate after the boss fight, he went to go find "Black Mask" and upon finding out who it REALLY IS, goes after Joker for "Wasting his time" as Slade put it towards the end...

This is one of my favorite Boss fights in the Batman series (when i played the first time i was totally blown away). It can also look amazing if you would just stop spamming X the whole time, there are moments where you can land a combo of punches but you have to watch his movement.

I fought the best, Deathstroke was better. He was by far, my favorite of all the Arkham bosses. Mr. Freeze in City was a close second, but there's a part of me that just *loves* a good-old fashioned smackdown.

deathstroke is my favorite villian. and i really liked what they did in this fight, it didn't really have a gimmick, like every other boss fight, and thats what it should have been. slade is just as good as batman in a one on one fight, so his fight is just like fighting a really fucking hard normal enemy. i love the fact that slade basically has all the same moves as batman, everytime you go up and try to just punch him and it goes into a small animation where you have to counter, is him countering your first hit. the arkham night 'fight' was atrocious

The most powerful character in the whole game is Deathstroke. I love his armor and fighting style and besides he is the only vilian who can kill Batman.
It's no disgrace taking hits from Deathstroke, intentionally or not, in fact, you're actually doing everyone a favor to make him look like the badass he deserves to be.

When it was 1st released, this game had glitches on EVERY console. The game would freeze in mid-play out of nowhere at times. But they fixed the glitches over time. In my opinion, Creepiest = Definitely Asylum Overall Game = City Best Boss Fights = Origins Still Mr. Freeze was an Epic Fight from City. It made you think, just wish Freeze was Faster and his recovery time shorter to make it more challenging.

you can only attack him certain times as long as you know what to look for you can land several hits you just picked all the wrong moments and yes deathstoke does knock you back for it.

It's not unblock able you have to counter when he goes slow motion, if you try to counter too fast he hits you
That was really bad performance, only counter when it shows the button you counter too early or too late well
