    My favourites are MotionVFX and Boris Continuum. Izotope RX advanced for audio.

      I have all of those as well! I actually use RX advanced with waves for a lot of my podcast editing.

      The best noise reduction plugin, the best bloom plugin and the best deflicker plugin. I'd suggest upgrading from Dehancer to Filmbox.

      I agree. Its really not beginner friendly. I was ok with learning it but the crashes was unbearable

    I was a bit disappointed that you didn’t actually let us know what could be done with each. Also…you sure left out a bundle of great plug-ins.

    • @JayLippman

      I definitely told you what each plugin did. And I'm sure I left out a ton of plugins. The title indicated that these were my favorite plugins. These are the ones that I personally use in almost every project.

      I just tested them, and they all seem to be working on my end! Not sure why they’re not working on yours.

    What are your favoritemost used Waves plugins?!

    • @JayLippman
      @JayLippman  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Both Clarity plugins for sure (dereverb and noise removal), the Q10 EQ, WLM (loudness meter), sibilance (de-easer ) and I can’t remember the name of the compressor plugin.

    Of course you may take the following as negative, knowing that it is meant positively on my part.
    Is it possible that (also) you can post two videos from now on: 1. a movie as posted (which I will no longer watch) and 2. a movie that can be shortened 90%+ if it only concerns the facts.
    Knowing, as a communication man, that everyone 80% + what is said is more than superfluous. Unfortunately, the transfer of a short and concise core is no longer an option.
    This is also a thorny issue in the Netherlands, where elections are once again being discussed.

    • @JayLippman
      @JayLippman  ปีที่แล้ว

      Interesting. May I ask where that 90/10 split is? Meaning, what’s the 90% of this video that you think is superfluous?

    • @_pierre_
      @_pierre_ ปีที่แล้ว

      @@JayLippman
      Dear Jay, To clarify: a. It's a positive comment that can be taken negatively 9 times out of 10. b. Am even a communication man. Knowing that - in general - 80%% of what is said is ballast. The small 20% is the core of what people want to share.
      Here in the Netherlands we are masters at saying a lot from a political point of view but saying very little. Have a hard time with that personally. It prevents me from seeing your beautiful work and learning from it. Can't bear that patience anymore.
      For example, we also have a wonderful guy in the Netherlands who is a master in building websites via WordPress. He made a YT movie (3 years ago) of a good 4 hours. This could have been reduced to 30 minutes if it were really and only about the core. This good man has now made an update YT movie on the same subject of 9.5 hours.
      So I don't get that. 1. Why so long, and 2. Why not just the core. Knowing that yours is not about hours but about minutes.
      Also knowing that every letter is superfluous to my text. Just keep doing what you're doing, because that's more than beautiful.
      Beautiful day.

    Waves plugins are certainly the worst recommendation to do, of course, they give good affiliate returns, but their plans and sales practices are garbage.

    Hi Jay, Paul Garner speaking (new icon/slightly different name!). Hope you are well. I just went to get this Waves Noise Reduction Plugin, and ended up getting the Ultimate collection. I write music, have done a lot more years than this whole photography/videography stuff, and I have to thank you my friend .. as I didn't know about StudioVerse .. so un-expectedly you not only got me onto a great noise reduction plugin (which by the way rocks!) for my Videos/Podcasts, you have also given me something I didn't know exists and it is friggin AWESOME !! thanks man as always .. and hope you are well.

      Don't listen to this person. Hand gestures show your personality. Personality is king. Actually valuable information is king. Focus on providing valuable info in a concise format and no one will care how big your hand gestures are.

      @JayLippman  ปีที่แล้ว +5

      @ianpeers4692 I get that. But paid content is how we pay the bills. I try, in most cases to bring value in all my videos, even the paid ones, and most Resolve creators I know do the same.

    • @PostColorGear
      @PostColorGear ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ianpeers4692I'm missing your point.
      How long do you need to be educated on how to do things, for free? If you've been watching for years, I'd be happy to see what you've done and maybe share some knowledge with all of us. Genuinely.
      Do you think MrAlexTech or Jay or myself have superpowers? We educated ourselves and now everyone else. God forbid anyone tries to make money from it haha
      Don't get me wrong, we all like helping people. But I also like my free time and to be able to pay for food to eat too. As they do too, I'm sure.
      Trust me, become a TH-camr and eventually you'll start doing sponsorships too.
      Trust me.
