I'm in South Carolina also. Great looking garden. With the type of tomato cages that I have, I place them over the tomatoes while the plant is smaller. It lets the tomato grow into the cage ( If that makes sense 😊) Enjoyed the video. Happy gardening.
Nice authentic little garden. I’m in southeast Alaska and have zucchini, winter squash potatoes carrots in raised boxes along with a few other things like bush beans and peas and pole beans. In our little hothouse green house dome I have tomatoes, one pepper that I don’t expect will ever produce. The garden is fenced to protect from chickens and goats. On our large covered and gated porch we have two green stalk planters with strawberries, herbs and salad mix plus rail boxes with radishes. Terra cotta pots on support posts of porch did have strawberries (I tried to overwinter under the house but they didn’t survive )so planted nasturtiums in them. I keep tucking a few more things in but the lions share is planted.
Our weeds are insane here. It seems they all love to vine which makes it extremely difficult to remove. I have a lot of that grass looking one and clover weeds.
I’ve never used coffee grounds, but would caution it where you don’t have acid loving plants. I don’t think tomatoes would benefit from that. I’d add lots of compost to amend (I’d add at least 4 bags) and add potting mix to help soften the soil. Add lots of bone meal, blood meal especially, worm castings and a well balanced fertilizer. Based on how your plants look it definitely seems like the soil is lacking nitrogen and life.
Fantastic looking garden!
Thank you so much!

Thank you for watching! Yes I definitely should have caged them sooner. Lesson learned lol

Thank you! You have a lot of awesome stuff happening! I have never tried to grow carrots, are they easy?
I am so jealous of your tomatoes right now!
They are coming in early! I’ve got some blushing already.

Thank you so much for the tips!
Are those tomato plants determinate or indeterminate?
Some of both :)
