Contrary to what Mr Rashid Ali said at about 1:11:00 of this video, Constitution was never abrogated in India. In fact the emergency was imposed under article 352 of the very Constitution which Mr Rashid said to have been abrogated between 1975 to 1977.
#1:21:54 the question was " how come Indian democracy has survived" and Mr. Ali's answer was ... oh India has grown economically and has got into a pact with USA... If economic might is the reason India is better, pre British India's contribution to world GDP was 25% and more. So we the people of the subcontinent should have been a super super power! Indians were in the same position as the native Americans. Both believed in universalism (all property belonged to all - to be shared). The Brits who came to both the lands had narrow interest. Yes given todays condition codification of laws is important but may be ---may be then it was not and in both these lands/societies. hahaha there was no formal education before Brits came.. may be Aryabhatta and others were mythical figures!!!
No country in the world ever discusses so much about their history. Most of the times the discussion is based on distorted history and lies. None of you have the guts to honestly discuss what is exactly wrong with your country.
First thing that Pakistanis should fight is to get equal rights to minorities. any sense of injustice in a constitution to this day should be shameful. Some of the injustice that i see in Pakistan with my limited knowledge are these - Allow non muslims to be president and prime minister. Apply the blasphemy laws for all the religious communities equally or repeal it completely.
Not aware of Taxila and Nalanda universities which existed in Hindustan before Muslim invaders arrived. The invaders were not interested in developing the sciences further as they themselves were warlords and not the educated lot. They only believed in personal glory and that was the reason that they only made huge buildings so that their name could go down in history. Their education was limited to Quran and Hadis where they destroyed developed civilizations to follow the blind faith with NIL scientific developments. He has no knowledge of written records of VEDAS and MANU SCRIPTS. India had oldest written records in the world. Islam is only 1400 years old and came to India much later.
India Congress started making draft constitution from 1929 , if jinnah was expert why cannot he give constitution, indian constitution was adopted on 26 nov 1949 , ACCEPT REALITY JINNAH PROMISED EVERYTHING TO EVERYONE TO GET PAKISTAN
Why do you see Subcontinent's history and its social systems as viewed by western propogandists... India was 40 - 50% of world's economy... Taxila, Nalanda, VikramShila and many universities were here... Algebra was originally started here from India even the concept of zero , pi and infinite ♾️ were started here... Constitutions and institutions are made and discarded to suit the changing situations(Power equations) in Pakistan . It is important to note that there is no evolution or betterment as the country and all its institutions, are pegged to religion which doesn't allow any change in status quo. Intellectuals always sigh away from this aspect.
so pakistan has to wait for some glorious revolution to change the mindset that has prevailed through centuries of despondency, what is the time required to stuck a final blow at base level?
Shari'ah should be the only constitution in Paxtan & the model of government should be Nizam e Mustafa. Unfortunately , Qaid e Azam M.A.Jinnah ( R A) couldn't fulfill his dream & died pre maturely else Paxtan would be foremost among all Is lamic nations in the world only due to adherence to Shari'ah.
