@@ScottTheFixItGuyChannel think i found it. The plastic part that goes around the motor spline for impeller is cracked and i think its spinning inside without turning the impeller.
My Frigidaire won't fill. Inlet valve is fine, floater switch is fine, the float itself had minor buildup but i cleaned that off and it's unrestricted now. When I start the cycle, i hear the pump whirring with a slight high pitch whine, but no water.
@@ScottTheFixItGuyChannel I'll check that out to see if there's anything obvious with the wire. If not I probably have to get a ohms meter to check. Unless there's another way to check?
Seems my washer is doing very similar things as everyone else. It fills and drains but the water doesn't spray. Everything is clean. It starts leaking when the spray cycle should be happening.
@@ScottTheFixItGuyChannel its coming from the right side of the washer. I haven't pulled it out yet. It only really leaked when I had the cover off the pump. I was trying to see if the turbine was spinning or not. It doesn't move. Just fills up with water then drains.
My dishwasher doesn't spray from the top. The soap door opens and the soap falls out, but doesn't go any where. The spinning thing on the bottom is also dry but tthe bottom fills with water. When I turn it on it sounds like it's running for a few minutes then stops making noise. It did not wwork when I moved in, so it's been in thegarage ffor 2 years. It gets HOT inside but nothings wet besides the bottom
I have a Frigidaire that's less that a year old(yes still under warrantee) it fills, and drains no problem but it won't spin. I've check for debris down inside that might be stuck but I don't see anything. The pump has always made a terrible noise, and we had to replace the float switch the minute we got it. Just a little background before the question, lol. Is there anything else I can check before I call to get someone in.
Any idea what the problem is if the lower arm doesn’t spray water but the top one does? The lower arm is not clogged and spins fine. Frigidaire FFBD2411NS6B
Scottthefixitguy thanks. I checked beneath the filter and 3 screws and the white ball is totally clean but is sitting in a little pool of water. Is that normal? Any other ideas if the ball isn’t dirty? Maybe the pump motor? Doesn’t make sense because the top arm is spraying water. 🤷🏻♂️
Nice job,
Just need to replace the circulation pump.
Was it making a mild humm before this? Or just completely silent?
Just silent.
A hum would mean something is caught in the circulation pump impeller.

Probably just needs a new fill valve👍
I replaced my whole sump pump assembly, and still no spray. Is there anything else that could be, or do you think it could be a bad one.
Does it fill with water ok?
I think the wire that brings power from the controller in the door to the circulation pump has an internal break in it right where the door hinges.
Yes every thing works except it doesn't spray. It fills heats up, then drains. It goes through the whole cycle except spray.

Where do you notice the leak?

Gotcha,
Time to get a new circulation pump.
@@FastFreeFixes that's exactly what I was thinking after watching this video. Should be easy to fix.

Thanks Betty,
Does the water get up as high as the round metal heating element?
Exactly what mine is doing
@@ScottTheFixItGuyChannel mine fills up the bottom of the washer but nothing happens.
Exactly what mine does to ugh
What fixed it?

Did either of y'all figure out the problem

There’s a small white plastic ball that’s stuck due to dirt.
Need to remove the filter and 3 screws on a panel that covers the ball.
