Yes mate! I think bcos i didnt like the way it looked, i wasn't expecting it to ride as nicely as it did. Which makes absolutely no sense at all. Congrats on the recent purchase!
A year almost to the day of getting my ceramic white VB, and I just love this car more and more every day. Especially living in a winter climate, I could not imagine a better daily driver with the fun factor still being there and also being manual. Subaru really knocked it out of the park with this refresh; people will continue warming up, and it will go down as the best all around WRX in my opinion. They all have their charms and quirks; not a single regret. Also, that spoiler looks great. Might be the next mod. Nice video, glad you guys collaborated. Good job!
I completely agree with what you said! I'm still surprised at how great of a stock package it is. A few mods like coilovers and a tune would really bring it to life. Congrats on the new car!! Very jealous
Watching your video for the first time. Your reactions are exactly how I felt when I first went to the dealership and test drove one…down to the smiles while describing the clutches from the VA -> VB, down to the rev hang mention. I traded in my WRB 2019 for a 2023 Black Limited. I do not regret my decision one bit…and I loved my old one. Great video. Keep it up.
Cheers mate! Congrats on the new car. Everything on this is an absolute upgrade, except for maybe the looks (which is growing on me). Its such a great platform, the whole drivetrain is so much stronger and responds so well to mods. Already seeing some great numbers with just boltons within the community. Thanks for watching mate
Had mine about 2 weeks now love it still waiting on the sti underspoilers to arrive at dealership so they can put them on i did install a sti sytle wing on mine tho
It is. Power is there. Handling is the best so far. Double rack and pinion steering. It’s good. Btw a stock tune puts it well above the STI. They purposely down tuned it at stock.
I agree that the vb is probably the better power train, i still reckon the STI is more fun to drive and handles better because of the DCCD. If the VB had the STI gearbox, i reckon that would be absolutely KILLER
@@MrDuongTV1 Cheers, yes I have ets intake, Cobb intercooler, charge pipe , turbosmart plumb back, Invidia 400 and Cobb shift stop sitting here waiting to go on once tuner has done more research it goes on the Dyno…
@@MrDuongTV1 I was lucky enough to try both before buying and was very close to buying a VA sti. I’m satisfied that I didn’t. They are different cars with different driving experiences and I would much rather dd the vb although is I had the cash I would get both.
@MrDuongTV1 thank you! The car you reviewed appears to be fairly close to the Limited trim sold here plus some extras..mine doesn't have the blind spot cameras but has the suede seats, HK speakers, etc..thanks for the video! Well made!
I'm very happy with mine. It's actually exceeded my expectations of fun and daily reliability.

I liked my 2022 VB so much, I traded it in and got a new 2024 VB TR! Phenomenal car.
Congrats mate!
This is the review I’ve been waiting for! Nice work!!
Cheers mate! Though i dont think I'd be able to part qays with my VA for this, its definitely the best daily WRX

@@MrDuongTV1a year and a week since I got my ceramic white. Fantastic car so far... Making about 350whp and it's good enough for me
Beautiful machine. Sounds like a wet dream !

Ah nice , been keen on seeing a depth review on this model 🎉
Its such a nice car to be in! Best WRX for a daily

Congrats on the new car mate! Whats the ETA on the sti pack?

Had my vb 6 months and still love driving it, put the Cobb AP with stage 1 which gives a little more fun factor..No down sides to this car so far imho
Congrats on the new car mate! Great purchase indeed. Any more mods planned?

Reliable yes and daily driver yes but I think the bugeye is one of there best.
I got mine a week a ago I have no complaints a few things to make it better
Congrats on the new car mate! Great car
20k miles on mine and still loving it.
Great car it is
I love how people compare the VB to the sti because the VA wrx can’t hold a candle to it 😂😂
Not sure if you watched the video properly, but I was comparing wrx for wrx as a daily - not with the STI
@@MrDuongTV1 I was making a general statement not to you or you’re vid specifically.
@777kason right. That is an unfair comparison, if its for performance anyway lol. I reckon the VB beats any STI for daily driving.

Got the limited trim in the US..I absolutely love it
Great car, congrats mate. We dont have a limitied trim here in Aus!

@manuelmora4789 cheers mate! Please consider subscribing 🙂
Love my VB
Can you take a look at the WRX VN wagon?
I would love to! As soon as I find someone who's down to lend me their wagon or feature on the channel, you'll find it on your feed 🙂
@@MrDuongTV1 I know a guy in Albury if you are anywhere near there?
@russellrussell5249 yeah no not at all mate, sydney based but thanks!
Hey mate, what’s your recommendation on exhaust for wrx 2022+ cvt transmission without affecting the manufacturer warranty?
Any sort of catback would retain your warranty mate. Would recommend the invidia q300/r400 or xforce.
did you get it yet? I recommend the MBPR catback with the quad carbon fiber black tips
Back end looks like a Camry with a body kit.
It does a little bit hey, but the more I look at it the less I care. The STI pack also makes it look so much better
Do this have any mods to the gear shifts ? Like a stopper or short shifter kit ?
Not on this particular one. Pretty sure subaru only offer an STI short shifter option. Stopper would be aftermarket i think
Do you think it need them ? Is it too sloppy with the shifts as most say ? Do you have them in your va?
I’m looking for automatic transmission Sti 2020-2023
😅 I know Manuel are better but I’m lazy and don’t know how to drive on Manuel
I dunno dude, still not a fan tbh. Love my VA and the styling of that model more.
I completely agree man. Love my VA too, however, the VB is better in every other way, esp comfort and daily driveability
