just a thought
maybe a video on fishing the high sierras and talk about what to do when thinks go wrong , because most areas in the high country have no cell phone reception so getting help and leaning location might be a good topic to talk about. Most die hard Trout fisherman will hike and at time have trouble.

No No...It's on the West Side out of Grass Valley/Nevada City, Ca.....It's a heavily hiked area, but for whatever reason not many folks fish the lakes....Most of them have either rainbows or brook trout in them and they are typically easy to hook!

When making this video it would have been a lot longer if he would have included the fact that reception on the phone was horrible and he actually had to get through to me his wife to call 911 and let them know what was going on because his reception was very spotty and kept dropping out of service. I was actually in cool and had to call 911 with very limited information and they were still able to get to the area they were at.
It's true...Lot's of times you can't put all the info in a video or it would be way too long...I knew that I might only get one shot at connecting with the phone as I've hiked that canyon a lot in the past and reception isn't very good. I knew if I could get Gena on the phone..Tell her it was an emergency and where we were, she'd do the rest...And that's how it worked out!

I'm sworn to secrecy by Tom, but there are lots of lakes like that in the high country...We were less than a mile from a major trailhead....Do a little research there are lots of opportunites!
Fishing The West, is it off the 395 ?
Fish Hunt Shoot Productions if it’s off the trail system out of Bassetts it’s not a big deal to name the lake. If there’s 20 lakes there and you have to hike to get there what’s the issue with giving it’s name? It’s public, it’s use goes to the greater good of growing the community. That’s a B.S. copiut if you ask me.
