Judging by the impressions the truss rod cover had made in the finish, I'd say that bump you noticed has been caused by tightening the cover down on a finish that hasn't cured and it's displaced the finish, creating a bump
I saw a guy playing cream les paul in a backyard keg party.. I will play in heaven with Randy Rhoads on the The Cream and on the Cherry Sunburst.. Duane Allman Gary Rossington
Every time I see a white Supreme I think of Matt Heafy's white Supreme from the A Gunshot to the Head of Trepidation music video. Its one of the guitars that helped inspire his new Origins Epiphone models. Still want to know how the hell that Supreme got fitted with EMGs lol.
Very cool guitar, like that a lot!! Nice to see it's not far off 10lb, my personal sweet spot for a LP. That one's a nice mix of semi-hollow, centre block, looks classy as hell too!!
I've never understood why there would be a case shroud for a guitar because for some violin cases it protects the violin from rosin on the bow but guitars just have soft case above them but idk
@@ethanfullerton507 This is discussed in the video when Trogly takes off the output jack and sticks the camera in the cavity. You can see if it's plain or figured, but I won't spoil it in the comments.
I have one of those in a beautiful dirty lemon translucent finish. It’s a rocker no doubt. Heavy guitar to play live, but strong pups. Cool guitar in my opinion. I’m still cleaning the hardware. I need to find out how to really shine it.
Hey man, love your videos! When you’re tapering about the color of the golden frets and your had reflections, you can use a polorize filter to add to your lens, this will remove the light reflections and help to give back the colors ;)
Les Paul Supremes have an extra large output jack plate, I bet it’s carved out more under there to allow access to the pots. He probably just kept the battery for the EMGs in whatever chambering is under the output jack plate.
Beautiful ...and that tone ' Trogly, just wondering, do you clean the insides of the cases with your special treatment ? especially used after heavy gigging / playing ?
I keep waiting for you to play a little more of that classic blues tune from a few movies like Pulp Fiction. I love the looks of that guitar and yes im going to say it this Supreme has a creamy full sound that makes me want one. If I can ever swing it I will have one. It's said to see that it got the stand rash or bleed but at least it isn't worse than it is. I've been trying to figure out how I can share pictures of some of my collection/ toys . Especially the two Studios 83 Greenburst and the 13 refinished but no luck so far. Even tried to see if I could post them along with the two SGs I picked up from you . The reissue 63 Epiphone Red with the lyre tremolo and the Pelham blue hard tail with P90s. I think it would just be fun for those of us who have bought guitars either from you , as a result of having seen particular hunting episodes or both. Kind of like the Trogley family of players if you will.
I've been curious for a long time what kind of guitar it is that Lindsey Buckingham plays. I've never seen it anywhere else. BTW, I think he's underrated as a player.
Matt Heafy of Trivium played a LP Supreme with EMG pickups back in the day.
The Alpine White is nice. Classy guitar

I'm part of the solid color finish crowd.
I'm with you on the solids.
Nothing wrong with this one!
I just love wood grain. Love to hear other people love solid colors tho.
Same
Same here.
This one strikes a *chord* with me. My first gigging guitar was an 02 MIK Epi LP Custom in Alpine White. Miss that thing almost every day.
Any chord specifically?
@@Randyplaysguitars Probably an open G. Sounds good on everything.
still have my korean alpine white epi, love her, replace pots and switch , good as new.
you need to check out the translucent white version, that’s so awesome if you can find one
Gives ya Randy rhoads vibe and great timing since he passed away on this day
Wow that's right! Thanks for remembering, wow I was in the 5th grade when that happened!
I saw a guy playing cream les paul in a backyard keg party.. I will play in heaven with Randy Rhoads on the The Cream and on the Cherry Sunburst.. Duane Allman Gary Rossington
Damn what an angelic beast, it looks like a LP shaped birthday cake , it just needs some candles ...Thanks Trog !
Love the solid and the white is classy 😍😍😍

I have a Fender Custom Shop Dick Dale custom shop, I would love to see you review one.
That finish is outasite as was dick Dale
@@steveparish9210 beside the glorious finish, it is so different from other strats.
What an EXTREME, clean, cream, dream, supreme beauty! 😍
Great tone and clarity. Really liked the bridge. Overall, awesome looks and sound!
490R 498T are among my favorite pickup sets.
I like the white!
Very cool guitar, like that a lot!! Nice to see it's not far off 10lb, my personal sweet spot for a LP. That one's a nice mix of semi-hollow, centre block, looks classy as hell too!!
Nice guitar, but I prefer the flame tops!
Matt Heafy playing this guitar made me a gibson les paul enthusiast for life
that is by far the best looking supreme
I enjoyed today's clean tone funk section, always my favorite part of play demo
You can definitely hear the resonance of the bigger body....love it
Thought we’d here you play Sunshine of your love or White Room
I've never understood why there would be a case shroud for a guitar because for some violin cases it protects the violin from rosin on the bow but guitars just have soft case above them but idk
How do they decide whether to use a FULL weight or LIGHT weight tail piece?
That is gorgeous.
I like everything about that LP supreme. except the gold fret wire. but I don't like gold fret wire on any guitar.
The cream Supreme dream
Anyone who chooses to cover up a beautifully figured maple top can't be my friend.
Truth
I like them both can we still be friends? Lol
They don't use great tops for solid color guitars. I bet there's a plain top underneath
@@ethanfullerton507 This is discussed in the video when Trogly takes off the output jack and sticks the camera in the cavity. You can see if it's plain or figured, but I won't spoil it in the comments.
that's why i really sold my early 70s black LP custom back in 1980 to help buy our 1st house...haa....if only.
I absolutely love that supreme. One day i hope to own one
Is the gold fretwire monel?
How do you change pots and pickups on this ? Any electrical maintainance would be very hard to do
I’d argue it is slightly easier than a semi hollow guitar. The output Jack route is where you put them through
that is a nice axe. i like it a lot actually. moreso than many bursts. this should be a keeper.
I actually really dig the whiteout sup!
Beautiful guitar with sounds and tones to match! Better keep this one Trogly I know I would!
Matt Pike of High on Fire played one aswell 🤘
Really nice model 👍🏼🇧🇷
Matt heafy has one and used it in the video of triviums GTTHOP song
This model looks like a Mick Ronson dream. If he were still with us, I could imagine he would get a blast out of playing it.
I have one of those in a beautiful dirty lemon translucent finish. It’s a rocker no doubt. Heavy guitar to play live, but strong pups. Cool guitar in my opinion. I’m still cleaning the hardware. I need to find out how to really shine it.
My white 86 Flying v has those same rose colored marks at the neck.

Looks way classier than the new ones although its really chambered out white looks great sounds good to 👏👍🤘
Cream supreme sounded amazing!!!
ah Matt heafy played one of these back in the day!!
Is the case thicker? or 'less' padding top/bottom?
That’s the supreme I’ve always wanted! Or the solid black one
This is a bucket list dream guitar for me. Maybe one day I'll be able to justify the cost.
Banana Handle is what we called it. That "Poodle" interior has a more luxurious look, even if not as padded.
Creme, Supreme minus the 🔥. Two out of 3 ain’t bad.🎤🎸👍
NOice. I would rock that!!
Beautiful guitar sounds great too, that's partly troglys talent
Love the solid color only because of Matt Heafy in the Gunshot music video
Im very picky with my tops so if i cant see it in person im always going with the solid color for consistency.
I actually absolutely love my Les Paul Supreme in Brandy Wine color. It plays excellent as well and is a little bit heavy. I truly like it that way!
That one is so beautiful!
Every time Austin says "doufie," everybody take a shot! 😂😂
I want an Ibanez RG Prestige that is 2 1/4 in. thick.
Beautiful guitar! Has a nice “honk” in the middle position. Austin looks like he’s lost about 20 lbs. lookin good there Trogly!
I had an ebony Supreme. 2003 or 2004, I believe. She was pretty beat and had a Bare Knuckle pickup but what a sound. Weighed a TONNE. 😂
Please let me know how too contact you about trading two really nice Gibson guitar's for a better les Paul
It’s ok my dream guitar is a solid white top PRS Piezo 24
Is it for sale?
I like that white alot more than others..
I normally prefer toads but I’ll settle for some Fresh cream supreme 🐉
Is it really snowing on the first day of spiring there?
I always wondered where did Matt Heafy stored the batteries on his, and why the hell did he put EMGs on it in the first place. Iconic guitar though.
Les Paul Supremes have an extra large output jack plate, I bet it’s carved out more under there to allow access to the pots. He probably just kept the battery for the EMGs in whatever chambering is under the output jack plate.
That's a nice guitar and it sounded great. A bit of a fancy Dandy so not for me but someone will love it.
I've got 10 high quality guitars , Gibson, gretsch, fender. My 2005 supreme is definitely my favourite.
"Lets get the endoscope" ** les Paul turns and coughs. 🤣I always love when you give your guitars a colonoscopy 😂
Beautiful ...and that tone ' Trogly, just wondering, do you clean the insides of the cases with your special treatment ? especially used after heavy gigging / playing ?
Beautiful guitar, it's like a baby Gretch White Falcon!
Yoo! Matt Heafy had one of these back in the day
Matt Pike is another famous user of the white/cream colored Supreme!
Came here to say exactly this. It helped inspire the new Origins models. White Supremes always make me think of Matt.
still not sure how he was able to get emgs to fit in there
@@ethanmuro7779 I still have no idea how he got them in there.
YES! I wish he still had it :(
I dig it ❤
I usually like white, but in affordable models like traditional.
The ol’ “dog doo” case handle.
That thing is BEAUTIFUL
Man that thing is heavy considering it’s chambered.
I could see Ric Emmett playing it.
I need that. 🎉
I sold a few with crazy tops... Very tough to sell !
Have you ever had a Gibson Byrdland Guitar like the one Ted Nugent played.
With this many guitars, which is the one you actually play?
Matt heafy used to play one of these back in the day I think
This is truly Supreme!
I also have one of these for sale in Australia if anyone wants it ha ha it’s exactly the same!
I read that title and thought I was on a different website for a second
i'll take it, how.much sir?
Matt Heafy used one of these!

That binding has held up well. The white paint also. Polyurethane?
Your playing is off the charts! How was the neck dive on this one?
Matt Pike uses a solid cream supreme and has his tuned to C-Standard I think lol
Yeah, wow that thing is bad ass
It's like the one that Matt Pike uses. Proceds the weedian.
The only thing I don’t like about the Supreme is the Gold hardware. I just can’t do it. 😢
I've been curious for a long time what kind of guitar it is that Lindsey Buckingham plays. I've never seen it anywhere else. BTW, I think he's underrated as a player.
agreed, his use of different tunings is interesting too
Rick Turner model 1 is his electric, acoustic he uses Taylor s. Yr right he's an outstanding player and different
@@steveparish9210 Thanks! Never heard of a Rick Turner. Custom made?
I think I saw Matt Pike playing one of these back in the day.
One of the better looking Gibson you have shown IMHO.
Ive never heard a 498t i liked.
