I _adore_ the Victor. It has one job: To be the boogie man in woods and cities where you never expect an 80-ton assault 'mech to just *appear* right next to you. I also appreciate its Dark Age Capellan glow-up, the Lu Wei Bing. Endo-Steel, a Light Engine, and Standard armor. It's the perfect combination to squeeze the most out of the unit's free weight. The LB 20-X, MML-5, and two Light PPCs are a fun update of the original load out, and it has CASE II to make sure even when you hit the ammo, you're still in for a fight.
@WolfHreda Oh yeah, a surprise AC-20 is always insane, and terrifying to be on the receiving end of. Not to mention, the pilots of these things are usually wild to look at an assault Mech and pilot it like a Medium Ambushed. Also, the Lu Wei Bing sounds HORRIFYING, great scott.
@@thevoiceofiron The Lu Wei Bing is a solid entry into the lighter end of assault 'mechs. Mind you, it weighs 85 tons instead of the Victor's 80, but it does squeeze that little bit of extra performance out of it with what it's got. I like that the Capellan Confederation has gotten to become more relevant in the Dark Age and ilClan era.
Definitely one of my favorite lance command mechs my typical lance 3025. Std Victor. Catapult Grasshopper and say a Phawk or Wolverine for sliding around edges for tactical flexibility

@@WolfHreda I really do need to read more about the Dark Age/ilClan designs and lore... Something to look into for the future!
Ac 20 and some nice JJs, it's a decent mech.
@ObiwanNekody It is, especually when used to leap up from behind cover and surprise something lighter.

@jerrywalters8885 That's a pretty good Lance Comp! And victors are fantastic leaders, especially when deployed for close-quarters/city combat!
