@@moto8444 it is Allen Millyard of Vietnam why ? Because i dont in le Dan channel car engine or aircraft engine in a motorcycle Allen is best of the best Le Dan is on way to be like him.
Hell yeah buddy! I love every one of your Frankenstein builds, so amazing! It's incredible to me how you can end up with something so precision made and functional! This one has such a different sound, I love it! Can't wait to see what you end up putting this in!
Don’t use clear hose for oil lines. When the oil gets hot the hose will come off leading to loss of lubrlcation and engine failure. I have seen this happen several times. Good luck. Great engineering. Love the videos.
I marvel at your engineering! Loved seeing the ignition system in a bit more detail and cannot express my excitment at the sound at the end! A true \|/ engine!
Le Dan, lo admiro por su gran talento, pero el vídeo completo de este proyecto...., me gusta ver todo el proceso que hace para hacer estas obras de ingeniería mecánica.
There's another guy on you tube that built a 3 cylinder radial but without the transmission. Le Dan makes engines for motorcycles like few others. This engine will most likely have a lot of torque.
Needs a bit more cylinder pressure if you ask me....either way this is sick as fuck! I Wonder how many hours he has into Just the engineering of the cam chain & tensioners? Hats off to you LA DAN your the man
Connecting all three of the intake adapters together. With a 12,15, possibly 20 mm tube can improve low rpm performance. And can possibly be well Worth looking into..
Your videos showed up in my feed, because I was looking into putting a chainsaw engine on a bicycle. A friend of mine has this really cool low rider 'chopper' style bicycle that would be perfect for a engine like a V twin Harley Davidson engine. I'm thinking 1/4 scale Evolution engine, But there's no one out there building 1/4 scale stuff, only ultra miniature engines for big $$$ with zero practical purpose. Then I saw your video on making a 2-stroke boxer engine... That's it! Make a V twin 'flathead' style engine, but make it 2 stroke. It could share the same carb, as long as you have reed blocks on each cylinder, and a sealing ring on the crank between the rods. I'm thinking something like a Evinrude 2 cyl crankshaft, with the crank case split & offset 45 degrees & rewelded. Then use air cooled jugs to top it off. Just an idea to get your brain cooking on a new future project.
This is an astonishing bit of engineering - in fact it's the engineering, the calculations and design work, that you can't see in the video that are the biggest achievement of the lot. There is another design of W triple not based on aircraft practice. In this case two cylinders are at 120 degrees and share a crankpin, and the third cylinder is between them and has a single crankpin (with counterweight) at 180 degrees to the other one. The downside is the cylinders are not in a single plane, the middle cylinder is offset. The upside is even firing every 240 degrees and much better balance.
I hoped, he makes double Opposite Engine, which it have 8 pistons and each liner needed one carburettor with total amount there 4 Liners, its be amazing crafting if he makes. As additional that it need 3 crankshafts to running and syncing each others.

Do a three into one exhaust that will help pull exhaust gases from the motor also you should have some tube between manifolds to even out the intake pressures
Này chế khung, làm thành chiếc xe chạy thì khối anh em làm xe kiếm anh hợp tác luôn á. Em ở An Giang lên SG làm xe, phục chế xe, độ xe classic cũng mê cách anh làm lắm
If you are referring to the BSA rocket and Triumph triple you are not entirely correct. The British were perfectly capable of designing and producing modern updated engines. But management of these companies made woeful decisions. Just like the British car industry really.
Their problem was that managements would not pay for machinery capable of making horizontal split cases. In Japan the Ministry of Transport was full of engineers and basically told the manufacturers what to do. In this country the DTI was full of arts graduates who had been to the right Public Schools, and were hopeless. Benn tried to fix it and the arts graduates defeated him: Heseltine tried to do the same thing with the same result. The failure was not of the industry per se but of the Public School system and the way its OBN ran (and still runs) the country. You don't think Johnson would have been PM had he not been to Eton?
I repeat: I hate the idea and the looks of all and any W engines. But I applaud what you did and do. Hat off. And if you put this engine into a bike (please make it a longitudinal installation!), you just might change my attitude towards W engines.
I was trying to guess what country you are from. I did figure on Southeast Asia. I am fascinated by your engineerig prowess. Out of curiosity, have you studied the early Honda 50cc motors of the mid 1960's ? They were able to go up to 118 mph and rev up to 22,500 rpm. Howhigh can you make your engines rpm run at ? Can you build such a motor ? I think you have the smarts to work this out. Give it a try, perhaps. Be safe, and try to get some boots. And gloves.

A radial engine of aircraft is must be made by you. You make it possible.
Worth the wait. Need to see this running in a bike next. You're an insiration to us all.
Let's hope it will be a longitudinal installation. And that he names the bike The Crown 😂
Looks like 25% of a radial. Very cool! Thanks for sharing.

That thing sounds great.
Would be nice to give it a 3 into 1 exhaust that has a collector, to a larger pipe rather than a merge (and all the same pipe).
Go , make your own
The 1-3-2 sequence gives a nice sound! Making the crank shaft complicated simplifies the cylinders 🙂 (compared to your similar twin cylinder)

absolutely brilliant, technically very difficult, all it needs now is a custom frame to make it perfect
Unbelievable ! So this is 3 times 50ccm ? That's some serious power now on small bike. Excellent skills you got !
its 110cc for each cylinder not 50cc, basically the engine is 330cc

The British motorcycle industry failed in the late 60's because they couldn't design a modern engine, they couldn’t even split the cases horizontally.
If you are referring to the BSA rocket and Triumph triple you are not entirely correct. The British were perfectly capable of designing and producing modern updated engines. But management of these companies made woeful decisions. Just like the British car industry really.
Came to post exact comment as @RB87NL. Nothing wrong with the engineers abilities, just bad management and government.

That being said, with the alignment of cylinders like this in an air- cooled engine, won't that create thermal issues ?
