That is an impressively confident and trusting cat (and yes, he is very handsome). Max almost seems relaxed for large part of the treatment, and the way he turns to his person whenever he starts to feel nervous is genuinely touching. This is a cat who has been treated with respect and love his entire life, and it's beautiful to see.
Owners can do everything right, and pets can still end up in an injury situation! I can tell the owner is frustrated with their super, but more concerned about Max's immediate health right now. I'm glad Max is in a spot where he can just focus on healing properly.
Love how the cat seems to understand what he’s there for…his patiently waiting and allowing the whole process to be administered. He obviously has a great (trusting) relationship with his owner.
Max is such a beautiful cat, I've never seen such markings on a domestic cat. He was also one of the calmest cats I've seen in this situation. Good work Dr Doug. His dad really loves him and I hope he makes good progress over time. 💓💓☮☮
Omg such a calm and beautiful cat horrible what happened . I’m so happy you’re able to help these fur and feathered babies big and small Thank you Dr Doug 😊
Please do follow up as to if Max leg movement improved after first session and include viewers in any additional sessions. Beautiful cat and the owner has such concern and love for Max in addition the owner has the right temperament to be able to care for Max the Bengal Cat.
Max you are so beautiful. He constantly was looking and leaning towards his dad. Hope you feel better soon. Thanks Dr Doug and Max's dad for helping him.
Dr Willen, Max was so calm and you were so gentle with him 👍. He’s dad was a big help, Max is cute and he felt safe and trusted you. I know with more sessions, he’ll get better cause he has an awesome 👏 chiropractor with talented magic hands giving him relief. Dr Doug, you’re amazing, thank you 🙏 for everything that you do, have a nice week doc.
Hi Max! You are such a strong and handsome cat, and with Dr. Doug's help you will be feeling much more like your old self again soon. I'd suggest you not leap out of any more windows, though... sending you much healing energy and love!
Max is a lovely cat , he seemed mesmerised at the start when you were adjusting ! Hope there will be an update for him so we can find out how he's getting on . Great video as always Dr Doug.
Max is such a gorgeous cat and I cannot believe how well-behaved he was the entire time! I don't think any of my cats would have sat there like Max! Is there a Max update? ❤
I had a Bengal who also had a similar calm nature. What a beautiful looking boy. You worked so sensitively with him, Dr Doug, and no doubt Max'll be feeling the difference over the coming days. Even in the last few seconds of this video, he seemed almost 'normal'. Look forward to seeing the update after the next appointment.
I love to watch Dr. Doug with all of the animals. I think the horses are my favorite to watch. I think because you can really see how much he helps them with the adjustments. I wish that I had a doctor like Dr. Doug near me.
For being a Wild-Mix, he was pretty AWESOME! For being a cat, he handled the noise exceptionally well. That is one thing you might consider - wiping down the percussion tool gun with lemon grass, lemon balm, lavender and other calming flower waters/oils. Max smelled it before he accepted it. My impression was that he was making certain it didn’t have too many dog smells on it and that those other animal smells didn’t have fear lace in them. So, wiping down your tools with alternating flower-essence oils and waters might help acceptance. You would want to alternated the water and oil versions of flower-essences because it is a tool and you don’t want it to decay from too much water. Oil is a preservative, but you don’t want it slipping in your hands, so alternating will help both 🎉 you and them. If anything unusual - due to the Siamese mix-in - his owner might consider having his eye’s checked. Max may have depth-perception issues. The Siamese are known for being cross-eyed. While many breeders have bred that out of them, there may be some eye-muscle issues when under stress. That’s a fancy way of saying - he looked down and thought he could jump because his eye didn’t tell him it was too far. He was missing his owner and under stress. There are yoga methods for cats and humans that can increase blood flow to the eyes. It’s just a thought. His owner might consider renaming him - John Wick…. :)
I hope max’s limp improves with the adjustment you made. He is such a sweet cat. He stayed so calm throughout the session. I love how curious he was when you used the pressure massager on him 😄
Falling down 4 floors you have to know he twisted sround continuously...I did not hear what he fell onto but surprised he lived and no broken bones....get well Max you used up one of the 9 cat lives but will recover...👍🏼great session and video...😍😻❣️
Max is gorgeous and a well-behaved patient. Dr. Doug, you do amazing work. I love how you talk in a gentle voice to the animals. You know what to do right away and if that doesn't work you try something else. I love watching your videos. 🐈🐕🦺
What a handsome guy Max is & such a very good patient. You can see how much his owner loves him. Thanks God nothing more serious happened to him falling out a window! Great job doc. Hope Max gets back to walking more smoothly soon. ❤
I love the way you work, Dr Doug, and the gentleness of your touch , although you get results. You have a gift with animals. They are not afraid and let you help them. I hope many will learn from you. Thank you for the animals.
I'm so glad Max is getting the help he needs. As an RN, it's disturbing to me to hear that Vets are putting animals who have had trauma on Gabapentin. This medication is NOT pain medication. It's a medication used for seizures and neuropathy pain. An animal who has trauma does not need Gabapentin unless they have nerve damage from the trauma, which is affecting their quality of life. Please do not give your pets meds without looking them up and seeing what they are used for. Ask questions. If your Vet is not willing to answer your questions or treats you wrongly, get a new vet. We need to do better.
Thanks for helping Max Dr D! I rescued a kitten that was kept in a bathroom 24/7 and he became the office cat and named him Max! What a personality! Trying to get back to watching vids after emergency major surgery. Had no idea it would be this tough to get back in the saddle - still progressing. Please keep us updated on dear Max!
Max is such a beauty! Bengals are the *second* smartest cat (Abyssinians first) and you can clearly see this, in his intelligent eyes! Dr. Willen as usual is amazing, your manner with Max is perfect, Or should I say purrfect. :) I wouldn't hesitate to take an injured feline to Dr. Willen. Many years ago, I had a regular chiropractor manipulate my little tabby and I never saw that cat so relaxed and stretchable! I could never duplicate it, so I know these methods can help and restore. Thanks for all you do :)
No more windows Max!! You have such an amazing coat, I hope you get on well after you met Dr Doug. How patient Max was letting the Doc work, such a sweet boy. No decompression table for you today tho Max!
Max is a sweetie. Sooo patient. Btw. I almost could not believe it when I've heard you go centimeters first. I very seldom hear Americans go metric. You never cease to amaze me, Dr. Doug. And - as always - thank you for helping Max and for sharing these moments with us.
Here’s my comment for you Max You are a stunning beautiful boy. Feel better very soon darling. A man who loves cats is my king. Lucky for me I have one x❣️❣️❣️

That has been the most chillest cat in these environments I've ever seen. Which is funny because I'm pretty sure their breed is pretty active.
For being a Wild-Mix, he was pretty AWESOME!
