Enjoyed this well made documentary. I am the granddaughter of Donald Edmeades and the daughter of Deron Edmeades who passed away in June of 2024, right around the time this was made. It brought me to tears to see these names, faces, to hear the stories and to think of what could have been. My father never got over the loss of his vineyard and winery and always wanted to find his way back to that magical place. I will be bringing his ashes backper his wishes. Thank you.

He was very kind and interested in joining us, but ultimately couldn't make the trip. We wish we could have produced this video a few years prior and captured his memories. His memory and legacy will forever live on.

This is such a wonderful documentary. I was raised in Anderson Valley and as a teenager and young adult worked at Jack's Valley Store in Philo. Because of my job there, I had the pleasure to meet most of the people that were shown in this video. I worked with Therese Kobler and knew her son Norman and husband Hans. Great people! A group of us helped them plant some vines one weekend. Therese was an excellent cook. If it wasn't for Hans and Therese, I might not have acquired a love of good wines, both domestic and imported.
