Tucker, I'm so sorry to hear about Jeff. That is such a tremendous loss. I feel like I got to know him a bit through your channel. You were a really good friend to him and I can't begin to think about what you must be going through. I'm so sorry for this tremendous loss.
My soul will never die , but my body will one day get transformed into six elements like oxygen, hydrogen, carbon , calcium, nitrogen , phosphorous. My soul will get a new body to continue paragliding .That's why I don't regret and I don't want others to feel sorry for the loss of my ( now 44 yrs ) body.
Honestly, this will probably be the only wing I'll ever fly when I get into the sport. I'm not rich and, while I'm not afraid of death, I'm more afraid of a hospital bill. All I care about is safety. What will a more advanced wing get me? Ability to flip over the wing easier or go faster? LOL yeah, I could absolutely care less about that. I just want to get high into the sky and feel safe. Period.
I couldn't agree more with that outlook. I have used my beginner wing for 4 years now. I just cruise and sight-see. I am alright with death, but the thought of living with permanent injuries terrifies me.
It’s a good thing you’re not afraid of death. Jeff, who has appeared flying with Tucker on this channel (including the famous flying to Dunkin video), was killed in a paramotor crash near Beach Lake, PA a few days ago. He was a safe, highly respected paramotor instructor with tons of experience. There was another guy killed less than two years ago where, according to internet reports, Tucker was the person who went to pick up his gear after it was released by the police. That pilot had completed all of the proper professional training down in Florida as well. This sport is incredibly dangerous even with all of the proper training and experience. It’s a lot of fun but the odds of a fatal accident are very high. I wish people in this sport wouldn’t gloss over that fact so often while also trying to sell equipment to potential new pilots.
I ordered mine when they were first released. The instructor told me if I could wait 2 weeks Ozone would start shipping the new Power 2 model or I could just order the old model and get it now. I'm glad I waited because I really love it. I live in the hot dry desert where the wind gusts hardly ever let up and the thermals start kicking off at 7-8 AM so even calm days can be pretty bumpy. As a new pilot with a fear of heights I appreciated it's solid and stable feel above me and that it never gave me a reason to fear it even in some pretty big bumps. As a "more experienced" pilot and someone who is still afraid of heights, I appreciate the Mojo 2's solid and stable feel above me which now gives me trust and confidence that I can just relax and enjoy the flight without the stress of actively flying it every second. Even with a few heart stopping moments the wing handled it like a rock and it still has never gave me a reason to fear it or a reason to ever buy any other wing .
As someone who has always dreamed of flying I find this sport very intriguing. Yet I’ve broken my back four times. Yes, four times. Twice in the military, a car accident and a water park incident. This unit looks like it I could avoid “slamming down.” Greatly appreciate all your knowledge Tucker.
This last year I've been preparing to get into skydiving. I've had a few jumps and have come to realize that the time spent under the wing is just incredible, more so than free falling. Now I've got my eyes on this and I have to do it. I need to do it haha. I just want to fly
I had exactly that progression myself. Earned my skydive B license 10 years ago, but haven't jumped much in last 8 years due to an old knee injury. But what I found I really enjoyed in skydiving was time under canopy. Loved exiting the plane and being open at 9k ft, lol. So last year, I pulled the trigger on PPG-wheeled... saves my weak knee, gives me tons of time under wing, and I don't have to cram myself into a C182 in 100 degree weather with 3 other dirt divers to get that time. Best of both worlds!
Just finished classes with aviator the 14th, this is 100% going to be my glider, I went up a couple thousand feet and even in turbulence this baby hardly moved.

I also like the fact that you were talking about catching thermals, using this wing without an engine, so it seems that this would be a great starting point for a beginner like myself! It would be nice if you were able to demonstrate this in one of your vids. I know you like the motor - but it would really be cool to see some of that thermal flying!! Thanks again!!

@@facundopadilla2141 I'm only going by unconfirmed preliminary information but it appears that he was flying alone and suffered an equipment failure. I have been told that he may have attempted to throw his reserve chute but there was not enough time for it to fully deploy. Again, this is all preliminary and unconfirmed. I got my mojo from tucker last year. Very tame wing. I got it also in case I want to add a trike to my Maverick...but haven't yet. Might need to soon as my back causes issues running with it on my back.
Thanks, Tucker. Great review. Getting close to pulling the trigger on Paramotoring. @@christianp5486 Broke my collarbone whilst training with a BHPA school in Bulgaria. Fault was mine, no need to point fingers elsewhere, I messed up.Are you sure the blame was with the school and not with your own judgement ?
💯 would. His mustache acts as a sensory guage, enabling him to accurately pick up the wind current direction. The follicular fibers also act as an altimeter and GPS, in case his phone battery dies.
about the factory maillons: The Mojo pwr2 doesn't trim to a higher AoA than the paraglider neutral position. There is no neutral position marker because 'full in' is neutral, so I guess the factory sees no problem locking that in. You can only untrim the wing, and then not enough to count as reflex. Only about 3" of untrim range as well as 3" speedbar. Compare that to 6" range of speedbar for the Mojo 6 paraglider. Not usual to put trims on a non-powered wing.
Thank you for the time you take to make good vids, you always go beyond when explaining 👍 A friend and myself are building our own e-para motors. We are looking for a really good frame/harness/seat to mount the elecs onto. Which, in your opinion is the most comfortable to work with? We're both on this wing too, very good an very stable......
The malleons on the trimmers are there because that's what keeps the wing A rated. When you remove them it loses that rating and becomes unrated. It's supposed to be a "do at your own risk" thing while allowing them to sell it as an A wing. I think it says all this in the documentation.
Regarding the trimmer locks- From the Ozone website- "This wing has passed the criteria required by the DGAC and has been load tested to the EN 926.1 standard. In addition to our own extensive testing, it has also been independently flight tested to the EN 926.2 standard with the trimmers set to the slow position. Releasing the trimmers, or flying outside of the EN certified weight range invalidates any EN flight certification. As delivered, the wing does not conform to the EN 926.2 standard due to the inclusion of the trimmer risers." This kind of reads like no wing that has trimmers can earn EN926.2, which to my limited knowledge is pretty much all wings? Obviously flying overloaded is stupid and should invalidate any ratings. 926.1 is an interesting read, the loads they test to are huge.
Hey Tucker Gott, can you come to the hudson highlands in new york to do a video. Would love to see the river and mountains from your perspective. Not too far from jersey 😀🙏
Great review! Could you do a review of the Ozone Kona 2? I love the safety of the Mojo, but I'd also like to start with a wing that could take me a bit farther. Interested to hear your thoughts
Same. I went with Roadster 2 as I’m not going to just “progress” and buy a new wing 6 month after buying a mojo. I plan to just keep the Roadster 2 until it’s not usable.
Can you do a video that compares wing on an efficiency point of view? I’m wanting a wing that safe, stable but also efficient for XC. I’m new to the sport and overwhelmed with marketing info
Please help. I feel very narrow in life and life. I need $1,000 in assistance to get out of the state of sadness and despair. May God heal you and your patients.
Wish there were review video's like yours for other brands as well! My instructor is a dealer for Dudek, Sky and Ozone. He has been talking up the Sky Flexor. Be a couple months before I order my own gear (and then an even longer wait to get it with how supply chains are at the moment), but it would be great to see a comparison between the brands since the chances of getting to test each one before making a decision are basically nill.
I've got a Sky Flexxor 29 its super stable under power, and in slight turbulence a dab on the brakes settles it nicely. I fly a Parajet Maverick under it, and I have the Parajet trike on order. Its raining with thunderstorms here at the moment, so not flying today.
@@monochromaticlightsource2834 Good to know thanks! The Maverick is currently my second choice of frame, the ability to get my first choice (Skymax) may be impacted by current events in Europe (hasn't been yet). We also had strong winds all weekend, so no training for me, hopefully next weekend will be at least calm enough to get through some ground handling exercises.
Tucker, I am a long-time subscriber of your channel. First, I would like to say how much you inspire me to become a member of the sport. However, I do have some issues that hold me back and I was hoping you could give me some words of encouragement. First, I am terrified of heights. I doubt I’m the first person interested in the sport to say this. Secondly, I am permanently disabled with a bad back and legs. My only concern here is that I can barely walk, never mind run. So, when I see how you sometimes have to run to gain lift, it has given me pause. Any suggestions?
Get a trike. The downside is that you will have a more lmited window of launch. As to heights, once you get beyond 1000ft its not a height, the world becomes a Lego village beneath your feet :)
I’m still just a beginner!! I have 23m ozone Z4! B rated!! I love it what size Mojo are you flying I would love to try that wing I don’t see myself getting another wing until I really put a lot of time on my z4
Please help. I feel very narrow in life and life. I need $1,000 in assistance to get out of the state of sadness and despair. May God heal you and your patients.
Everyone will recommend the Mojo as the first wing to get but they expect you to just go blow another $4,000 on another wing 6 month later after the Mojo is boring. I went with the Roadster 2. I don’t plan on buying another wing. That is a more realistic recommendation in my opinion. A wing that you will be able to learn on. That is still way safe and it won’t be boring after 6 month because the trims on this wing actually do something unlike the 2” trims on a mojo lol.
If I ever have an opportunity to get into the sport I would happily go for this wing. I do have a question though. For cross country flying on a trike without a support vehicle following you, could I carry a second wing that’s more speed orientated for those days where the wind is calm or will that compromise a weight limit? I just had the thought of being able to switch between wings if I ever felt like either the air is calm enough for speed or has a bit of turbulence that’s okay for the Mojo.
Tucker!!! Up to now I've always figured you to be a very analytical careful calculated pilot who pretty much likes to manage risk by choosing the best conditions, equipment, training, etc. before flying. Now you tell me that you're intentionally flying overloaded, in horrible weather, and at full power no less!!! What the bleepity bleeping bleep is going on here?!? 🤣😋
Do you find that you have to "check" non reflex gliders like the mojo harder in turbulence? I know that the reflex profile of more advanced wings offers a level of pitch stability while brakes are off. Do you find that a non reflex glider needs more active piloting?
Love your videos. Been watching for years , I’m looking to start flying I live on the coast of North Carolina with on shore winds , I’m 6,2. 250. Not fat just Football player ,, would you recommend this wing and. What motor would you recommend as well, 185cc. Is recommend. They say ,,,,, thanks for your Input, great videos ❤❤
I feel like if I am ever able to get into the sport I’d like to get something that’s a touch more advanced than the mojo, such as the spyder or roadster, simply because I’m not sure I’ll ever have the money to buy a second wing just because I want to advance my skills
I like the idea of been able to dual purpose between motor and free flight. Would you not need to add extra weight to make up for the lack of weight coming from the motor though as I hear its better to be on the heavy side than the light and that engine weight will be a bit of a slimming down.
Hi Tucker, the tables with the different sizes and Mtow you showed too short. I am already 67years, and 120kg 1,93m, so for me, I think, it should be a trike with at least a thor 200 or 250 and a wing of 28sqm or more, what do you think??? Just evaluating all possibilities. Hangar places for a 3ax ultralight inavailible, or expensive 300to 600€ per month. 😣🤔😎
I'd like to see you inflate a mojo with zero wind. I'm not sure about the pwr 2 but the older mojos are really damn hard to inflate under zero wind conditions. There are better and cheaper alternatives for beginners
could you talk a little about how to transport this entire equipment on a sedan, I have avalon, what are my options. Also, what health insurance would do great across all states. I may sign up for the classes up in PA for September training, thanks, Marus
A swinging motion, usually side to side but it can also be forward and backward. In flight it feels like someone pushed you sideways on a swing. Less ossilation is usually a good thing
Please help. I feel very narrow in life and life. I need $1,000 in assistance to get out of the state of sadness and despair. May God heal you and your patients.
I have problems on landing because I onle see with one eye, therefore I don't have 3D perception and I never know when it is the correct moment to pull down brakes and land slowly and safely. Try to land closing one eye and you will probably understand what I'm talking about. So my point is to get the slowest possible PPG glider for slow landings. Is the Mojo the only wing you would recomend me? Any other brand and model? Actually I am flying with trike and a Moster185 and landings are no problem because wheels and , but take off is a pain in the butt because it needs to be done super perfect to get to the air. I have 100 hours on trkie and everytime I take off its a " what will go wrong this time? " So I want to go back to foot launch with an Atom80 and a smooth and slow landing wing. Thanks in advance ;) Oscar
For the price of that wing I’d probably want to keep with it for a while .How do your skills improve if the wing is so forgiving? Do you have to try to push it to its limits??
Everything on the mojo happens slower and requires more brake input. Because of the inherant stability of the wing, you have to have your skills dialed to throw big maneuvers. The wing is very maneuverable if you know what you are doing👍. I fly the same wing (mojo pwr2 24m) and am beginning to increase the size of my wingovers. The safety of the wing gives you the confidence to push yourself. Within reason of course.
@@tiberio135 - Progression, challenge, fun, adrenaline rush, accomplishment, better skills = safer in emergencies, etc… What’s the point of doing anything with that attitude…just to say you did it?
Isn't this a re-upload? Swear I've seen this before. Anyways, I bought a mojo pwr2 26 from Tucker almost 2 years ago now. Coming up on 10 flights, it's slow but super reassuring for me. It reduces a lot of in flight stress with superior peace of mind. Now that I've seen other wings at my field, I really appreciate the simple risers. 10/10 would buy again.

Aviator paramotor failed at teaching me how to land and I tore my ACL. Don't be afraid to train elsewhere.

@@grahamlockley4435 yes, I am sure. They told me, "don't look at the ground" when landing. I later found out that was a lie
Nice ending. "CAVU and tailwinds friend", as they say.
Like the idea it can be used with a trike...and you talked about that...
I bet it would fly a bit better if the guy flying it had a mustache 🤔
I concur!
No.
Only if by 'better' you mean more wind resistance / drag.....shaving a mustache off is like activating an extra speed-bar
💯 would. His mustache acts as a sensory guage, enabling him to accurately pick up the wind current direction. The follicular fibers also act as an altimeter and GPS, in case his phone battery dies.

Great video already in love with the mojo and all Ozone wings! Rock on Tucker🤘

about the factory maillons: The Mojo pwr2 doesn't trim to a higher AoA than the paraglider neutral position.
Thank you for the time you take to make good vids, you always go beyond when explaining 👍
A friend and myself are building our own e-para motors.
We are looking for a really good frame/harness/seat to mount the elecs onto.
Which, in your opinion is the most comfortable to work with?
We're both on this wing too, very good an very stable......
It's is amazing, more stuff like this would be amazing for us Beginners

LOVE this intro! MOJO DONT CARE!
The malleons on the trimmers are there because that's what keeps the wing A rated.
When you remove them it loses that rating and becomes unrated. It's supposed to be a "do at your own risk" thing while allowing them to sell it as an A wing.
I think it says all this in the documentation.
Regarding the trimmer locks- From the Ozone website-
"This wing has passed the criteria required by the DGAC and has been load tested to the EN 926.1 standard. In addition to our own extensive testing, it has also been independently flight tested to the EN 926.2 standard with the trimmers set to the slow position. Releasing the trimmers, or flying outside of the EN certified weight range invalidates any EN flight certification. As delivered, the wing does not conform to the EN 926.2 standard due to the inclusion of the trimmer risers."
This kind of reads like no wing that has trimmers can earn EN926.2, which to my limited knowledge is pretty much all wings? Obviously flying overloaded is stupid and should invalidate any ratings. 926.1 is an interesting read, the loads they test to are huge.
Awesome review!!! When it is versatile for free flight and paramotoring, does that mean you can fly this without a motor also?
Hey Tucker Gott, can you come to the hudson highlands in new york to do a video. Would love to see the river and mountains from your perspective. Not too far from jersey 😀🙏
Not gonna lie, I think Tucker has taken over the worlds best paramotor pilot title. Again this is only an opinion.

The mallions on the trimmers are there to maintain the EN A certification. the glider is not certified with the trims released.

i have a video suggestion. how about a para-motor asmr ride. for relaxing white noise into the air
Love the review! very informative!!!
I flew a Mojo out at Aviator a couple years back when I was still primarily flying a Dudek Universal. The Mojo was way less versatile.
Keep in mind that it is designed for beginners.
@@jackhydrazine1376 so is the universal
I’m still just a beginner!! I have 23m ozone Z4! B rated!! I love it what size Mojo are you flying I would love to try that wing I don’t see myself getting another wing until I really put a lot of time on my z4

Bruh....your skills are SICK. I could only wish for you to instruct me. How much would it cost 10 hours of exclusive training?...just curious. Thanks.
Aviator charges about 3k for that. Tucker doesn’t have the time or liability insurance to train people. Go to Aviator PPG.
Re up on that merch damn it!
That is still way safe and it won’t be boring after 6 month because the trims on this wing actually do something unlike the 2” trims on a mojo lol.

keep your Mojo rising. Sorry had to do it. It sounds like a great wing.
Love my mojo pwr medium!
Great review to say the least
I'm sold.
Thanks for sharing!!
When you mention speed of this wing .
What speed in mph are we looking at exactly please for this A rated glider ?
I feel like if I am ever able to get into the sport I’d like to get something that’s a touch more advanced than the mojo, such as the spyder or roadster, simply because I’m not sure I’ll ever have the money to buy a second wing just because I want to advance my skills
Tucker please do a flying to video they used to be fun to watch
Maybe flying to the supermarket v2

Absolute mad lad! :D
Hey Tucker where can I learn how to fly a paraglider/motor, is there some sort of school
I'd like to see you inflate a mojo with zero wind. I'm not sure about the pwr 2 but the older mojos are really damn hard to inflate under zero wind conditions. There are better and cheaper alternatives for beginners
Loving the Mojo. But how do you know what size wing best fits with the options given?
could you talk a little about how to transport this entire equipment on a sedan, I have avalon, what are my options. Also, what health insurance would do great across all states. I may sign up for the classes up in PA for September training, thanks, Marus
How I wish I could do this sport, but it's hardly allowed here in The Netherlands.
Will you do a Spyder review?
What about stalls and spins?
I'm sorry, one more question.... What is an "oscillation"??
So I want to go back to foot launch with an Atom80 and a smooth and slow landing wing.
Thanks in advance ;)
Oscar
Can you buy the but the scout without motor?🤔
Looks like the perfect platform to start from 👌
Hey bud have you ever basejumped from a ultralight aircraft?
For the price of that wing I’d probably want to keep with it for a while .How do your skills improve if the wing is so forgiving? Do you have to try to push it to its limits??
Please help. I feel very narrow in life and life. I need $1,000 in help to get out of the state of sadness and despair
@@JohnB_PPG why would anyone do maneuvers if you are already flying....why push the limits?.....I just don't get it.
Progressing is as much about takeoff and landing as flying. An A wing gives confidence in flight which helps with takeoff and landing skills.
@@tiberio135 - Progression, challenge, fun, adrenaline rush, accomplishment, better skills = safer in emergencies, etc…
What’s the point of doing anything with that attitude…just to say you did it?
How is the size of the wing chosen? weight? what is kiting?
Hey tucker what’s the difference in the sizes of the mojos? I’m assuming the bigger sizes carry more weight or handle winds better. Maybe 🤔
During my P1 classes and some of my P2 classes I flew a mojo 90% of the time.
