You and Lisa did a good job of conveying the unfortunate facts of this matter. The presentation was neutral and allowed the viewer to draw their own conclusions regarding criminal culpability in this context. In the end, the law does attempt to protect us from ourselves sometimes. I’m certain that many family members of both parties felt victimized even though the actual participants did not. Enjoy all of your content.

Vanessa… I like to think of myself as an open minded free thinker but this narrative is beyond anything I am capable of comprehending. I don’t know if this extreme is the result of emotional disturbance, mental illness or demonic possession. When it comes to curiosity, wise men know that not every door is meant to be opened.

Hi Vanessa and Lisa, I'm so glad you have each others company for this adventure, as it's not for the faint hearted! The weather is absolutely horrendous, and put paid to your camping night. At least, the restaurant food put a big smile on your faces! As gruesome as the story was, I did find the facts leading up to it, very interesting. I would definitely not let him loose into society!! I don't know German law by any means but here even if it was consensual he would still be put in jail for crimes against nature. For eating and mutilating a human body. This must be the most bizarre story I have ever heard - The man should be put into a psychiatric hospital for life with no chance of getting out - It is so disturbing that such a person would exist - I am courious as as to how the video ends - You make the story so real with your storytelling.

Great , thoughtful job on this series . I am truly confident that there is simply insufficient insight within the ranks of our civilizations' structure to intelligently handle these types of expressions . Also , with certainty there is no will for clarity but only for manipulation of the masses/mob and so on of course . I only recently (within days) watched a very well done movie about this to then see that you two ladies were making your own production . I have the distinct sense that this fellow is honest and I'm of course impressed with the true consent involved . However misunderstood what I'm about to say will be there is no doubt in my mind that any person would be better off collaborating with honest people in the stead of the deceptive and undoubtedly mind controlling occult empire behind the "Establishment". Very interesting , I think quiet basic base consciousness involved . ATB !

If he hadn't been caught he would have done it again. And eventually progressed to out and out murder. When someone gets that sick I don't think they EVER get better. Prison for life is where he belongs!

Fantastic video Vanessa: The rain you had is what I see almost every day here. Germany a very beautiful country. I remember so well when there. Your story of Amin Meiwes and Brandon was almost as if Amin was talking instead. I listened to Amin's interview and in one aspect it was gruesome but yet it showed his true respect for Brandon. A very very good video of you and Lisa. Your english was very good. Lisa was talking in just as good english. Some may not like this video others may like it and some may not know if like or not. But I loved it. Not for the killing of another person and eating them but by how you provide such precise re-enactment of this. The real reason Amin was sentenced to life was because when Brandon was unconscious it was discovered he was still alive when Amin cut his throat. Ich LIebe Dich Soooo !!!!

i really enjoy your storytelling, even when you're unsure of your English, which is pretty good by the way. As for the cannibal, I believe he belongs into a mental hospital. I cannot understand his motivation. However, many people are lonely and sometimes just human touch can do wonders for them. Eating someone's flesh seems like extreme perversion.

The name didn't ring a bell, but while the telling of the story went furter, my memory came a little bit back. I believe that this was also on the Belgian television. It was mindblowing .. but now knowing the true story.. What can i say! The man was so lonely and had the idee of eating someone would take that away! I can't imagine how he must have felt when the cutting and eating of the best part didn't furfill his romantic fantasy and became a nightmare!
Is this a crime.. i would say no.. but.. what if he wouldn't had found someone that agreed freely... So... i think that prison is the right solution, especially a psychiatric part. Forever? I don't know.. that's for specialists.

Hi Vanessa and Lisa, I started to listen but had to stop, it brought back to many memories from my time in Vietnam and the atrocities that happened there. Sorry but, I probably won't watch or listen to the second half. I will stick with your visits to Nature.
Just goes to show what can happen when two very, very ill people get together. Wow! Difficult to intervene when people are that secretive and so determined.. Think I agree with Lisa's opinion on the guilty vs. innocent question. On a lighter note, replace "best part" with maybe "big toe" for a good scary story around the campfire on Halloween night. I'm from the U.S.A. I remember as a child about a person named Ed Gein that did the same thing. Only it was with women. My grandfather went through the place where it took place. He got life in prison for it.

I think staying in a Hotel was the right decision 👍🏼 that rain was horrendous. I do remember this story in the news, I have to wonder who is more crazy, the cannibal or the willing victim. 🤔

You two are a hoot. Got rained/snowed on lots while I was there, but never saw it come down like that. My part of NE Kansas has spent a good part of June into July with flashflood warnings.

Vanessa, I always enjoy your videos and adventures. We have had much rain here as of late and not that I melt like sugar but it is not as many things fun to do in the rainy days. Your story of this Man is disturbing to say the least and of course yes he belongs in incarcerations and to be locked away. It is very wrong regardless of his childhood circumstances as many people are also lonely and come from a poor , even terrible background but never to do as this one does. I am not sure I would care to explore his house where he did such an evil thing. But I do enjoy your videos and seeing what you may discover . And I am glad you are having a friend come along to be there with you while you are in such an evil place so you are not alone there.

This is a bit surprising to me because we Americans think there's little or no crime in Europe. The only serious German criminal I ever heard of was Peter Kurten, and he's long gone. I still think Europe is a much safer place than America. Anyway, interesting video!
I think in their minds that they didn't think it was considered wrong. But I think they had so sort of mental illness to think that way and to do what they did. He did not kill him but it's against the law to defile/desecrate a body.

I remember reading about this story in a book with other cannibals too.In my opinion he is guilty, because he exploits the ill will of another person, because in no way it's logical for someone to want to be eaten alive!As someone who dind some other person who want to commit suicide and he helps him, there is consent, but he is still guilty
Although this story is hard to listen to, it's really quite sad. For me, it's about two mentally ill people finding each other via the internet. Both perhaps could've been saved it their mental states would have been noticed, reported , and addressed, by professionals many years ago.
People like that, I would think, would give signs of their mental illness, but most people (myself included) accept this as them just being a "weirdo" and leave them be. After all we were all trained to "mind our own business" which is the right thing to do almost always, but maybe when we see someone at work, or school, or wherever, that seems to have problems beyond normal.......I don't know it's a hard problem to figure out. Anyway, thanks for the video, when I hear a story like this, I don't think evil, I think mentally ill.

I am thinking this was sheer lunacy and the authorities refused to call it that because he would be institutionalized in a mental institution making it possible for him to be declared sane and released one day. The authorities criminal behavior, in my opinion was just as insane as his was.
