That room you asked about would have been the change rooms for the pool. Notice the heaters, shelves for towels and of course the shower and toilet.
I brace myself each time you go into one of the places. I'm waiting for someone to come out and say: "Hey! What are you doing here!?"
I love the first house! What a great project it would be to restore. The Church was sehr schon! Beautiful countryside.

its sad that this is not 'normal' anymore. I am not a christian, but such places should be treated with respect, as sacredness has no race, color or denomination. Thats just the people's eyes that see the same holy light but distort it in individual ways, so it seems to be different shapes and colors...
Even an unbeliever should have respect as the place is also a grave. Even if one doesnt believe in any god, the fact that people came there and remembered a dead loved one and felt emotions there, should be enough for respect. If i lived nearby, id have fixed it up a bit, cleaned it and put some flowers there now and then. If i bought that house id leave the chapel standing and restore it.
I can only hope that in the future something like that will happen.
What a wonderful property, maybe some of these can be bought cheep and sold for a profit and it could be some family's home again. Great job finding and exploring together and sharing with us, thank you two.
I could spend many days driving you two around in places I have never been! The Greatest Fun! The never been there!
Vanessa, the right side of your face is improving in your videos the past 3 or 4 months. I really enjoy watching the bushcraft and camping videos.
This is always fun exploring empty old buildings, you never know what you might find! Interesting how some buildings seem scary and some happy, makes me wonder who lived there and what happened to them!👍
you two should totally do haunted house stuff, like midnight and 3am haunted house explorations etc. maybe, hiking enchanted, spooky woods and camping and stuff.

So very sad people have to put graffiti all over in old abandons , they do the same in Canada , would have been beautiful in the day. the grounds are awesome . Where you are going with the unknown/unexplained/possible hauntings ..
That is my speciality!
There may have been the big oven because there were many mouths to feed in the main house. The "apartment house" may have been for a "grounds keeper" or a housekeeper person to work there.
It's amazing to me that no one has purchased and moved into the villa, but thanks for showing people that places like that should be preserved.
With many of these places its "legal limbo" Like there are several heirs who cant agree on what to do, and no one can do anything without the permission of the others..... So nothing happens with it. Until it rots. Seen it happen around my town a lot. We had a farmhouse that eventually had to be demolished, and we even have a shoestore with shoes still in the window display, just rotting away.

Wow, Lisa scampered up that door like she was part mountain goat! Hand made stained glass, a shame illiterates had to deface it. To abandon a home with a temple to those lost must have been quick and life altering event in the previous owners lives. House walls are very thick, a sturdy shelter with a phone by the door may have been warnings for air raids or related. Thanks for sharing your adventures!
Fun to explore, just always be careful and have your friend with you , and maybe have a long rope in the car just in case !

That is a very grand old house! My guess is that at one time, it was a Church Rectory perhaps for a Priest that had
many, many hobbies! That person had some wood working, sharpening and wine making skills that could help
support the maintaining of the old home/Rectory rather than depending entirely on the church for the Rectory upkeep.
It was one of those things whereby there was no idle hands and yet in full support for the church itself. The skills of
that person was also perhaps means of setting up bartering in exchange for much needed supplies to keep up the old
Rectory.

Great video again, it’s so interesting to see these places & wonder how the people lived. I. Know that in previous places so many things are left for reason that owners were not able to pay their bills, so they were forced to leave everything in payment for their debt. Hi Vanessa and Lisa, sorry I missed this video, I was away at my other cabin on a remote lake. This is a very nice video and like you, I don't understand why people half to destroy property that is historic and why the government don't do upkeep on these old places. I did like the second building, it must have been very beautiful in it's day, the grounds are beautiful, must be lots good times in the old days. Thanks for taking us along with you on your journeys.

Beautiful old houses it would be good to see some one buy and restore them. However, it would take a lot of money. There is a beautiful house in Trosschelhammer near Pressath. A Herr Fritz lived there 20 years ago but he was getting old. I hope it has not been abandoned

So much to fun joining you two on your exportation videos! The house with a chapel and the mural painted on the outside is puzzling to me... why is it abandoned, what happened why no one lives there anymore. Lots of things to think about and another fine video.

It pains me greatly to see such wonderful places vandalized and treated with such contempt. I find myself wanting to fix up the places you showed...to at least provide some protection from the natural elements. I am actually glad there was no furniture inside them. It would only have been trashed like the rest of the building.
I would love to go along with the two of you if there were places like those but without the damage.
That grindstone could be made to work with a bit of de-rusting, lubricating, a bit of "elbow grease" to make it so.
Many of the things in this video could be made usable and in good condition.

They seem to me wonderful secular oaks, there is also an abandoned church and they left Christ on the cross. Up to here everything is fine, then there is the decay and dirt of the other building, "unfortunately" .. The video is always a lot interesting and very beautiful. Hello, good day👍👋
