I love my 1,300 square foot ranch home. I'm the only one that lives in it and honestly it's slightly too big for me. My entire monthly house payment is $1,000 per month which is very affordable on my income. My gas and electric bill on average is about $140 per month. Lawn only takes an hour to mow with a push mower, much less with a rider.
I’m tired of these cheapskate Mansion Home Owners who pay 6.00 to Door Dash while they live a good 10 to 15 miles away… so yeah I’m tired of mansions myself 😂
I moved from my four bedroom home to my two bedroom cottage. I am absolutely happy.❤
I'll never forget an episode of Homes Across America. A 60-something empty nest couple built a massive house on a corner lot, no lawn to speak of. They had a separate bedroom for every grandkid who might spend the night, huge living room for "entertaining," half the second floor was their bedroom, etc. Turns out the couple spent most of their time in a little 8x10 room off the kitchen with 2 armchairs and a TV arnoire only. Yeah, if you have the money to build big, you can, but be mindful of what will actually feel comfortable to live in when you are not likely to have the entire family over more than a few days out of the entire year. Get the grandkids sleeping bags and put them in the den--they'll have a great time. 🙂

Tupac said it best how the hell you going to have a big mansion with 16 bedrooms 23 bathrooms there's so many homeless people out there etc.
She has the dumbest logic ever. Whats the purpose in having a 12 bedroom home but you can only sleep in one bedroom. Most of those mansions have over 50k a month in maintenance. They dont tell you that until after you buy it. Buying a mansion is a huge L
It's a personal preference. Something anyone can have as long as they can afford it. There's no need to hate because she stated her wants, while they don't live up to your standards and expectations for humanity.

Because they can! Sweetie! That’s it! That’s the only reason. It’s called Freedom. You’re entitled to call it ugly, judge the maintenance. Whatever helps you sleep at night. Nobody cares. Because at the end of the day this is America and you invent the light bulb or the iPhone or ChatGPT and want a mansion. YOU GOT IT 😁👍🏻

@BigRodd91 I completely missed your point. I saw nothing be envious about a outrage monthly maintenance bill. When you die you never truck hauling your house behind the Hearst. Give me a 3 bedroom therefore I can sleep in 1 room. Donate the rest to good cause for less fortunate. Hopefully create a solid legacy so my name can live on but hey maybe I'm crazy in 2024. Society is so superficial. No substance at all. Bring back conscious capitalism in 2025.

Just be patient. As the five year mark comes around for these mansions, they will be half to a third of what they initially were priced at.
